I like your program , the one thing i notice is the co anglers rarely get a chance to catch fish, they do not usually have a live scope, they are paying good money to be a " net man"
back in the day of PWT, us co anglers could actually contribute, now , most of the time, not so much, CONGRATS Dewey

I watch a few episodes and I noticed the same thing, the co angler rarely fish... period, live scope or not, that is sad. I would like to see them as a team instead of a one man show.

The pros are sweeping the water from the front with their scope in the direction they’re trolling. Doesn’t leave much for the co angler. However last year Hoyer’s co caught a crucial fish bomb casting into the weeds on devils. That was a fish out of scope range but very crucial to the bag that day.

Really cool episode, some of the footage though shows now with the FFS it has really deemphasized the role of the co angler. They now sit in the back with a couple dead sticks doing nothing or netting a fish and the pro saying “you take care of that I casting to another fish.” I liked it better when the co’s were actually a part of the program rather than just a net man. Just my $.02
