Bro tq,all through my 62year of cooking experience we have never heard of idly rice ,only plain parboiled rice and plain rice with ulunthu fenugreek, cooked old or new rice used till now for idly n dosay, idlis are soft n tasty nowadays ppl confusing with all kinds of cooking stuff. Malaysia
Kaar arisi or gundanchamba is called idli arisi. That's all. Now a days people don't use the proper names of the products ie sambar paruppu, chutney kadalai like that 😁
