I'm very excited for Urban Air Mobility to become a reality! Could someone tell how many EASA certifications are left for commercial use to have a well-defined schedule?
Still no company has certification after more than 10 years! Realistically this project is still many years away from certification for public transport, the authorities will simply not rake the risk that its safe. And range and payload are also limited. Just use a Bell 505! :-)
I genuinely don't know how you guys - Volocopter, have had, and continue to have the nerve to keep putting out videos on your apparent progress, and yet seemingly no realistic expectation of an operational date, route etc. Perhaps you're all happy to draw your salaries, and maybe it will all work out eventually, but if not, it's another thing to put on your CV's.
@@petertarginoklein3862Pretty easy to be aggressive. Volocopter basically has nothing to show that a single model builder with too much budget couldn't achieve as well. Empty promises, a few nice videos, and a manned multicopter controlled by a pilot are unfortunately not innovations and certainly not worth the taxpayer footing the bill so that a few wannabes can line their pockets.
Godspeed, Volocopter!
Awesome to see the facility done and working. 2022 I was there to install the floor heating

How many separate power sources are the rotors drawing from?
The VoloCity specifications say that 9 battery packs are used to fuel the 18 rotors.
How do you address a complete power loss during flight?
“Oh shit”
Es gibt mehrere Batterien und genug Rotoren, um vereinzelte Ausfälle zu kompensieren.

What a waste of time, money and labor. ☝🏿🧐
Now they ask the German government for financial support.
Why isn't there one engineer in each of these companies who stand up and say "lithium batteries will not permit usable range and duration in a VTOL"?

I do not see a market for the VoloCity. Who operates a taxi cab with only one passenger seat? 🚕
Insolvenz izz da
Alter sowas sollten wir fördern und nicht irgendeinen Krieg
Der Volocopter wurde und wird Steuergeldern gefördert.
Desync would suck on that beast

I agree. We have horses, no one needs a car

@@DualFlopIt is not about horses or cars, but about payload and range.
