J. K. Rowling has herself said that even though Hufflepuff often isn't as popular as the other houses, everyone should aspire to be a Hufflepuff because of their kindness, loyalty and strong moral compass.
Every house has upsides and downsides. I don't think everyone should aspire to be in any house. Variety is more important than everyone fitting into the same box.
I appreciate that she said that but Hufflepuffs were also pretty consistently looked down on in the books and I'm pretty sure that's where all the negative stereotypes originated from. Her positive statements about Hufflepuff house were nice to hear but felt a bit after the fact in my opinion.
@@MsPandachen Yeah, yeah, I've heard it before: "Cap is brave, so he's a Gryffindor." Balderdash. Never mind that Gryffindors really do not have a monopoly on bravery. Consider JK Rowling describing Gryffindor bravery as foolhardy showing off, and comparing that to the Hufflepuffs staying for the Battle of Hogwarts "almost to a man..." not to show off, "...but because it was the right thing to do." Captain America, especially as portrayed by Chris Evans in the MCU, doesn't show off. He doesn't go looking for fights, or for opportunities to be brave. He's quiet, reserved, and deliberate. The brave things he does, he does because they need to be done and he has the ability to do them. Again, I would point to the conversation with Bucky outside the recruiting office: "Bucky, come on! There are men laying down their lives. I got no right to do any less than them. That's what you don't understand. This isn't about me." That is not Gryffindor bravado. Or go back and read the letter Steve wrote to Tony Stark after the events of Civil War - the letter that effectively says, "I know you don't feel like we're friends any more, but I don't hold it against you. If you need me, I'm still your friend." Hell, half of the reason Tony started the Civil War (and don't be fooled, it *was* Tony that started it) was because Steve wouldn't back down from trying to make sure his friend didn't get unjustly punished for things that weren't his fault.
There’s much more to us puffs than just eating, kindness and cuteness. Badgers ate nice until u mess with them, that’s when shit goes down. We.Are.Not.Slow.
Looking forward to the top ten characters who are definitely Ravenclaw. Here's the characters I know that might make it. 10. Bastian Balthazar Bux (Neverending Story): A total bookworm with an active imagination, and that imagination and love of reading saves a whole fantasy world. 9. Indiana Jones (the Indiana Jones movies): while he's got the fighting moves, it's this doctor of archeology's knowledge that gets him out of the toughest of situations. 8. Stephen Strange (Marvel Cinematic Universe): Most of the Marvel Superheroes belong in Gryffindor, but Strange should be in Ravenclaw simply because his power comes from studying the mystic arts. He also had the curiosity to see how the Infinity War ends and because of that knew there was only one way to win. 7. Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock) This super sleuth can solve any crime by examining every every minor detail. Even the smallest piece of evidence can be a big clue and Holmes is observant enough to find it. 6. Lisa Simpson (The Simpsons): Unlike most of her family, Lisa is very intelligent and wise. This not only gets her good grades, but gets her and her family out of tight spots, even a couple of times foiled the plans of Bart's arch nemesis Sideshow Bob. But she can also be very vain about how smart she is, as Lyle Lanley was about to avoid being questioned by her simply by flattery over her brains. 5. Matilda Wormwood (Matilda): Like Lisa, Matilda is also an educated young girl with a less educated family. But this girl gets telekinetic abilities from having so much knowledge for someone so young and small, and she uses them to seek justice over those who have wronged her and those who are weak. 4. Batman (DC Universe): This crime fighter may not have the superpowers of his fellow Justice League members, but his brain is unmatched by many. Batman is able to figure out his foe and has a plan to defeat him, as well as a backup plan. 3. Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory): this theoretical physicist has an IQ of 180, and is a fountain of knowledge. Unfortunately, he's arrogant over his intelligence as he constantly brings up a trivial fact over the current topic (or just talks about a trivial thought on his mind that may or may not have anything to the current topic), corrects people, and belittles those who he sees as intellectually inferior (which is everyone except Stephen Hawking or Leonard Nimoy). But he's unaware of how these flaws actually hurt those around him and nobody really explains to him why. 2. Belle (Beauty and the Beast): Belle lives in a world where a woman who spends her time reading is weird (although I think they think reading in general is weird as we don't see anyone else in the village with a book). But Belle doesn't let the fact that she's different get her down. She shows that she's not just a pretty face, but a clever and strong-willed woman who will do what's right. 1. Tyrion Lannister (Game of Thrones): Tyrion comes from one of the Noble Houses of Westeros, so things are expected of him. But because he is short, he's not much of a fighter, and because he's hated by his father and sister, he knows he won't win any popularity contests with his family. Instead he uses his mind to play the Game of Thrones and manages to defeat his opponents in battles of wits. A few honorable mentions: Rapunzel (Tangled) Billy (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) Mr. Spock (Star Trek) Stanford Pines (Gravity Falls)

Anna is both hufflepuff and gryffindor, but hufflepuff is where she belongs. She is loyal to a fault. She loves chocolate. She works hard, but can be naive.

I always get the house of Hufflepuff so it's very nice to see who would be in my house too especially Lizzie McGuire, Spider-Man, Cinderella, Sam, Finn, and everyone else. :)
Thank God, you have Spider-Man up at the second spot. Coming off the Slytherin video I was afraid you would be unwilling to tackle major MCU characters. I think that Peter Parker, at least the version of him depicted in the MCU is definitely the Cedric-type superstar Hufflepuff: he is plenty intelligent and a creative problem solver, which would make him a pretty good fit for Ravenclaw, and he is undeniably extremely brave, self-sacrificing, even reckless at times, which are basically the main Griffyndor traits. But I still wholeheartedly believe that he is the best fit for Hufflepuff, as his main drive isn't the glory of doing heroic things or even the excitement of adventure, but a deep engraved sense of responsibility for those, who cannot help themselves, which, at age 16 is a very admirable thing to have. He also keeps returning to his small life as an unknown and unrecognized high school student and puts loyalty to his friends and neighborhood ahead of having a glorious full-time superhero career, which he could definitely pursue in a world where the Avengers is a thing.
UmbraKrameri that's good to hear! Often I hear that he's too intelligent or courageous to not be Ravenclaw or Gryffindor but people forget that the house traits aren't mutually exclusive! His kindness truly defines his character and I'm really glad that so many other people think that too!
I have doubts about if I am Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, but a friend of mine tells me always that Pam and I are the same person, so if she is a Hufflepuff, I guess that that means that I am one too 💛
Is a Hufflepuff, sorted into Hufflepuff first by Pottermore and then again by Wizarding world..and is a life long fan of Lord of the Rings and shouted out YES Samwise is most definitely a Hufflepuff!! And Hufflepuffs are most definitely very brave, J.K. Rowling herself wishes she wear in Hufflepuff, and Hufflepuff is her favorite House group, she said that most ALL of the Hufflepuffs stayed and fought during the Hogwarts battle, not to show off or anything, but because it was the right thing to do!
How about Hurley from Lost? If any of those castaways was Hufflepuff material, it was him. He had no desire to trek through the dangerous jungle, but he wanted to be with his friends. Because he saw how depressed everyone was, he built a golf course just to lift everyone's spirits. He was familiar with the numbers, so he tried (albeit unsuccessfully) to talk people out of what they were doing if it involved said numbers. And of course, one of his best moments was when after his best friend Charlie died with a warning about the people on the freighter, Hurley declared that he'd rather not let his friend's sacrifice be in vain. That's a Hufflepuff through and through
I agree about Elsa but Anna is primarily motivated by loyalty for her sister (whom she barely knows as it happens) more than her care for her the world at large or even her village. It's not even really a bit about the greater good, it's about an (almost) blind faith in Elsa. Gryffindor's are more wary of blind faith least you end up getting behind something you really don't believe in.

Jack would be a Hufflepuff! What would Randall be - a Hufflepuff as well?
Hufflepuffs relate the most to Leos. Like myself. I'm a Leo which means I'm loyal to the ones I care about, hard,-work comes first, and above all else, success.
Nice list overall. So good to see all my Hufflepuffs unite.
The only thing I'd change is to add in Sam Tarly from Game of Thrones.
Yes, you mentioned Brienne, but no one else on that show is the epitome of a Hufflepuff than Sam :)
As a huffelpuff, when I first took a bunch of quizzes and turned out to be a huffelpuff, I was shocked because we really don’t know what Huffelpuff is like, and neither do other people. Like give my mans Cedric and Newt some respect like they are what Huffelpuff is like
Proud to be hufflepuff. People make fun of us when they don’t understand us. They are just jealous. And we are not slow.
They should do one based on virtues used in Divergent.
Like Dauntless, Abnegation, & Erudite
So many videos with Harry Potter!!! Thank you 😂♥♥♥ I love him!!!
There can NEVER be too much Harry Potter!✨🙌
@@trinaq true!!!!
Radagast the Brown is another example of a Hufflepuff exemplar, even to the point that his powers are more directly nature-related than the other Istari (and his signature color is brown which emphasizes earthiness).
2:31 That moment proves he is a Hufflepuff because he seems to be a fan of Disney movies
Jessica Day, New Girl, is definitely Hufflepuff material.
I agree.
i thought Joeys hugging Hugsy in the thumbnail...
“Hufflepuffs are slow” straight a’s would like to disagree
I knew Sam would be number one, he's the ultimate Hufflepuff 🖤💛
But also, Deadpool is a Hufflepuff. It is shown in comics and he said so himself.
Really good video MsMojo! As a HufflePuff, this video is exciting. Also excited to see Sam Wise Gamgyee as number one!
Me too, as a fellow Puff, Sam is our unofficial leader!🙌🌻💛
I feel like Winston from New Girl should definitely be on this list. 🙌🏼

I am a proud Hufflepuff and will always be💛🖤💛🖤I hate it when people say “ew your a Hufflepuff” or something like that. We aren’t just the nice house. We can be brave and bold like Gryffindor . We could be cunning, clever and ambitious sometimes like Slytherin. And we can be really smart like Ravenclaw. We are strong, loyal and hardworking. And the Hufflepuffs being slow is just bs. WILL BYERS IS THE NUMBER 1 HUFFLEPUFF THANK YOU AND GOODBYE
Totally, Will, Joyce and Jonathan form an entire family of Hufflepuffs. 😻❤
Trina Q agree about Jonathan but Joyce is totallyyyy a Gryffindor she’s such a badass queen
@@zoharsarig9474 That's true, perhaps Joyce is a Gryffindor with Hufflepuff tendencies? You'd have to be super brave to tear apart your house and enter an unknown dimension if it means rescuing your son from a monster!💗
And Dustin
@@trinaq I think Joyce could also be a Slytherin, she is very determined and extremely loyal/protective of her own, she will do whatever it takes to protect her family, and screw anyone or anything that stands in her way.

Which disney princess will be perfect in the hogwarts house.
Princess ariel (gryffindor)
Cinderella (hufflepuff)
Princess belle (Ravenclaw)
Pocahontas (Slytherin)
I agree with all expect for Pocahontas because is a true Gryffindor because she is so adventurous very brave a bit reckless
@@maem7462 Sorry I got confused
Ariel is a slytherin
@@lia_64 Maybe eliza
Since Belle reads to feed her sense of adventure and from bored frustration I tend to put her in Gryffindor (Not everyone who likes to read is a Ravenclaw and that washing machine she makes in the live action remake may count if she ever did anything else like that at any point but she doesn't.)
Aziraphale from Good Omens is the PERFECT Hufflepuff, just like how Crowley is the perfect Slytherin.
Definitely!

I also hope we see Rupert Giles in the Ravenclaw!
@Buffyslyth Ditto!
Im a Gryffindor but i really appreciate that they had some main characters represent the puffs

I'm the only Shadowhunters fan who thinks that Alec Lightwood is an Hufflepuff? 💛
I dont think he's a hufflepuff, he's not that caring, patient and nice. I'd say he's a ravenclaw.
@@ishipgirlsinlove I'm not that patient and I'm a Hufflepuff too, but I have to disagree, he really cares about protecting his friends and family with all his heart. And he is very hardworking and super honest with everyone, so it seems to you that he is not nice, but he is, not to mention that he would never betray those he loves, which makes him loyal, all aspects of a Hufflepuff.

For the Ravenclaw house, I'm hoping Elsa from Frozen and Phoebe Buffay from Friends would share my house!
How is Phoebe in any way a Ravenclaw? She and Joey are both Hufflepuff, Monica is the only one of the Friends who seems like a Ravenclaw
andrewthezeppo no way is Phoebe a Hufflepuff. She’s by far the meanest, and worst Friend of them all. (Stealing her sister’s fiancé, taking the money she donated to the Children’s hospital back so she could buy herself a lavish wedding, just for starters)
@@andrewthezeppo She's a lovable, wacky head-in-the-clouds hippie! As for Monica, I'm not sure if she'd be in Ravenclaw. But if they add her, I wouldn't mind, since I love her too.
You know who I think also deserves to be on this list 😏: “HEY ARRRRRRNOLD!” 😂🤣😅
Hell yeah Peter Parker is a Hufflepuff!!
I’m a Hufflepuff, and he is my favorite superhero, but I can’t think of any other superhero more Gryffindor than Spider-Man.
I know, they should have had Superman instead of Spiderman
Spidey's much more Ravenclaw than Gryffindor.
The ultimate Gryffindor is Captain America
#5 Joey Tribianni - friends
#4 Anna- frozen and
#2 Peter Parker - spiderman are my favourites
There’s much more to us puffs than just eating, kindness and cuteness. Badgers ate nice until u mess with them, that’s when shit goes down. We.Are.Not.Slow.
Piper from Charmed, Lucy Pevensie (chronicles of narnia), Rosalee from Grimm, Capt. Janeway (ST: Voyager),
What about Rose Nylund from the Golden Girls?

When the 1 girl on Gilmore Girls told the guy to cover his eyes because it's supposed to be a surprise. That just warmed my heart
I still think there's a strong case for Anna to be a Gryffindor. Same with Brienne and a few of the honorable mentions
Anna is both hufflepuff and gryffindor, but hufflepuff is where she belongs. She is loyal to a fault. She loves chocolate. She works hard, but can be naive.
@@msfriendsfan4ever788 I think she could really go either way. Elsa is definitely a Slytherin tho
Anna could be a Hufflepuff or Gryffindor hat stall much like Neville, but would ultimately be sorted into Hufflepuff due to her constant kindness. 😊 Elsa strikes me as a Ravenclaw/Slytherin hybrid. ❄⛄
I agree about Brienne. Knight is the most Gryffindor job going.

A GOT character in Hufflepuff, Bloody Hell
I really agree with you! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who thinks he would be a Hufflepuff haha
@@kit3368 Definitely not, I have seen multiple RUclips videos where they ultimately sort him as the friendly neighbourhood Puff he is. :)
UmbraKrameri that's good to hear! Often I hear that he's too intelligent or courageous to not be Ravenclaw or Gryffindor but people forget that the house traits aren't mutually exclusive! His kindness truly defines his character and I'm really glad that so many other people think that too!
@@kit3368 Also, personal values are very important in the sorting process. And he values his personal connections, loyalty and fairness a lot.

What About Cas From Supernatural?Hufflepuffs Are Wellknown Finders,&,Cas’s an Expert at Finding Dean
That's a Hufflepuff through and through
I think Anna from Frozen is more Gryffindor and Elsa is a a Ravenclaw
I agree about Elsa but Anna is primarily motivated by loyalty for her sister (whom she barely knows as it happens) more than her care for her the world at large or even her village. It's not even really a bit about the greater good, it's about an (almost) blind faith in Elsa. Gryffindor's are more wary of blind faith least you end up getting behind something you really don't believe in.
I love how I relate with Lara Jean on a spiritual level. Homebody that loves baking and prefers to read romance instead of going to a party. Sounds like me.
I'm a Hufflepuff and I'm proud
