It's crazy that "The Simpsons" accurately predicted that Trump would be president at some point, though they weren't quite so on the mark about a female president.
Truth is stranger Than fiction. The writer is a freemason and another freemason in 1873 predicted that there Will be Three world wars.WW3 will start because of the conflict between Israel and the Islamic world...
Laugh In got it right at least one other time. On a show from 1968 they had a segment that went "News of the Future, 20 years from now. President Ronald Reagan..." and everybody cracked up laughing.
The thing with lists like these is, some of these things weren't "predicting the future". It was just an open secret among that community, that the public didn't find out until later.
OK, but with Sci Fi shows, lots of tech & STEM folks in the 80s & 90s grew up / went to college while being passionate fans of those shows. Either subconsciously or intentionally, those who went on to work for Apple, etc., were almost certainly influenced by speculative devices on those shows.
It's really eerie that Hyde mentions that he sees himself in prison in five years, and even ends up there at one point, echoing the shady antics of his actor.
If you ever watch Ranch and some hear some of the comments made by and about his character, it was like they were telling you he was going to jail and why
4:20 - 5:20 You could put that in a separate video of top 10/20 things that Back To The Future 2 got right. Including the Cubs winning, 3d movies, machines we talk to, waiterless restaurants, tablets, drones, iPhones, flat screen TV's, video calls, hands free video games, finger print recognition, picture on picture screens, virtual reality headsets, surf Vietnam and more.
Another 80s movie, Short Circuit, could be considered predictive as well. It had military drones, robot bartenders, Google and Siri inspirations among other things.
Everybody in Hi-Tech knew that everyone was being watched. Everyone who worked got Google, Yahoo, AOL, etc., everyone in Cybersecurity, everyone with military contracts, of course everyone in military and intelligence services... Snowden only notified those with no technical background.
At least a couple would definitely be better labeled 'inspired things' rather than 'predicted the future.' I was going to post as such. But you already did.
The tech items for sure, like the iPad and Google Glass. People grew up with these shows and decided to invent the things in them. Others were future predictions based on existing information like Facebook or Weinstein (almost everyone in Hollywood knew). But the sports teams winning so close to the dates predicted, the pandemic, the exact date the Berlin wall fell, were more freaky, as they are events that are either random or impossible to predict that far off.
Here's one from "Airwolf", courtesy of TVTropes : "In "Echoes of the Past" the villains are attempting to make Hawke think he's been in a coma for eight and a half months, and as part of the ruse they create a series of fake newspapers and television reports. One of the big stories on their fake news is about Princess Diana and Prince Charles getting divorced... 11 years later the two DID get divorced, following Charles' affair with Camilla Parker Bowles." And in its first episode, way back in 1963, "Doctor Who" predicted the decimalization of the Pound, which would only happen eleven years later.
I am sure that a number of these are not predictions, but people who use these to select a date to do it. This, not just gives attention when it happens, but years later in videos like these. But sure, some things could be a pretty huge break in reality, but mostly I think people plan based off their TV show, this means a lot of weird people watch the simpsons lol
The Apple Smartwatch Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993-1996;2010) and yes MMPR was In the ad promoting The Apple Smartwatch In 2015 on TV not RUclips glad I watched that show In the 1990's
#1, Finally! Someone remembers that show! The plot was to remotely hack into the plane. (The shuttle from DC National to LGA) and fly it into the WTC, then blame foreign terrorists so we could go to war and the military industrial complex could reap profits again after the end of the Cold War.
Tom Clancy's book "Debt of Honor" (1994) was also a foreshadowing of the attacks on September 11th. Further, if you read "Red Storm Rising" (1986), you would have known the time and tactics of the Desert Storm launch. We all just need to read between the lines to have an idea of what is coming next.
A Quebec TV show called "Épidémie" (translated as "Epidemic") aired from January to the beginning of March 2020 and told the story of a Coronavirus spreading across Montreal. They shot it in the Summer of 2019....
The Star Trek franchise has "predicted"/inspired MANY inventions. Google Glass was one of the last things invented due to Star Trek. Others were the flip phone, tablet computers, touch screen computers, personal computers, Zoom, the internet, HD TV's, and Alexa/Siri.
Since February 28th through March 29th is Ramadan, how about upload something food-related like, "Top 20 Nickelodeon Episodes That'll Make You Hungry". Some good ones like: Spongebob- Club Spongebob, What's Eating Patrick, and Chocolate with Nuts iCarly- iPie Drake and Josh- I Love Sushi The Fairly Oddparents- Just Desserts & Food Fight etc.
The Cubs winning the World Series wasn’t just a wild guess on Parks and Rec…the show runner, Mike Schur, is a giant baseball fan and knew the Cubs had some top prospects coming up and they would be good enough to win it all around the time of that time jump in Parks!
As I write / type / post this in the first week of 2025, a question comes to mind which has perplexed me for some time. In the self-promotion segment of MsMojo which appears near the end of each of the video, what is the name of the MsMojo anchor who appears last? She wears a dress/blouse with vertical stripes.
not so much a world event but mark salling's puck on "glee" says in response to a question made by schue in regards to their future: “In jail, or dead, or both” which is what happened to mark salling. lol.
Gotta say I've watched that 70's more than once and Hyde was never a lovable stoner. He's played a selfish asshole who used his friends and only once did something noble for Jackie
It would hardly take Nostradamus to predict that Bin Laden was hiding in plain sight in a country that holds the civilised Western world in such contempt.
the o.j book didn't and still doesn't seem sane. even if you didn't write the book as you say, Why attach your name to anything having to do with that .
Somebody could predict the Arizona Cardinals will beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the super bowl 65 we'll go oh that's a funny joke or wow that happened
You know that a channel has no idea what it's talking about when it claims that a show like Star Trek predicted the future. A sci fi show that takes place in the future. It doesn't predict the future. It inspires the present. You think it's a coincidence that tech from Trek appears today? Dumb.
All the libs in the comments mad about Trump being president again. Y’all are too funny and have horrible short term memory. Our country was way better off with him in office. Now we got a relic who can’t even form a sentence
Ross pretending he died and holding a whole funeral was hilarious 😂😂😂
It's crazy that "The Simpsons" accurately predicted that Trump would be president at some point, though they weren't quite so on the mark about a female president.
Well a woman can be next after this new period
To be fair Trump very publicly considered running in 1996 and didn't and then ran in 2000 before the episode came out.
Truth is stranger Than fiction. The writer is a freemason and another freemason in 1873 predicted that there Will be Three world wars.WW3 will start because of the conflict between Israel and the Islamic world...
and correctly predicted the outcome of a trump presidency. Here we go again
No but the Budget Deficit was accurate tho
"The Simpsons" predicts everything
Star Trek predicted some stuff as well😂
Top 10 Dumbest Motivations From Scooby-Doo Culprits as a video suggestion and hope you'll put it on your schedule
Laugh In got it right at least one other time. On a show from 1968 they had a segment that went "News of the Future, 20 years from now. President Ronald Reagan..." and everybody cracked up laughing.
I remember the 7 7 bombings. My cousin was so lucky as she usually caught the underground. She decided to walk that day.

2:04 - Using professional government E-mail addresses for registering on a site like this?
Beyond unprofessional and stupid!
well what can you expect from people who are in site like this and are married.
The Berlin Wall thing should have been ranked higher. They specified the YEAR which turned out to be correct!
It's really eerie that Hyde mentions that he sees himself in prison in five years, and even ends up there at one point, echoing the shady antics of his actor.
If you ever watch Ranch and some hear some of the comments made by and about his character, it was like they were telling you he was going to jail and why
Honorable Mention: When the Babysitter's Club predicted the Wicked movie in 2020
I thought about supernatural but with the p diddy thing. I didn't think about the croatoan virus as covid 😅

Happy saturday afternoon, Rebecca, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
I am sure a lot of people who invented the ipad etc. watched those star trek episodes when they were younger and got their ideas from that.
Do people not stop to think that most of these aren’t predictions but rather gave the people behind the events the actual ideas?
At least a couple would definitely be better labeled 'inspired things' rather than 'predicted the future.'
I was going to post as such. But you already did.
Intel agencies are all over Hollywood and show business...

The Lone Gunman was such a good show though. Yves Adele Harlow correctly predicted my bisexuality.
The Apple Smartwatch Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993-1996;2010) and yes MMPR was In the ad promoting The Apple Smartwatch In 2015 on TV not RUclips glad I watched that show In the 1990's
Loved seeing Person of Interest on this list, though am a bit disappointed Madam Secretary didn't get a mention as well
Interesting people that are just trying to tell an interesting story or joke have no idea they're predicting the future
#1, Finally! Someone remembers that show! The plot was to remotely hack into the plane. (The shuttle from DC National to LGA) and fly it into the WTC, then blame foreign terrorists so we could go to war and the military industrial complex could reap profits again after the end of the Cold War.
I’m not so sure that these are predictions as much as they are blueprints for future use.
The Supernatural episode always sticks in my mind. That and everything the Simpsons prediction
Tom Clancy's book "Debt of Honor" (1994) was also a foreshadowing of the attacks on September 11th. Further, if you read "Red Storm Rising" (1986), you would have known the time and tactics of the Desert Storm launch.

Also, Ranch commented on Danny Masterson going to jail just before it happened and it was pretty accurate
Moments from Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss
The Cubs winning the World Series wasn’t just a wild guess on Parks and Rec…the show runner, Mike Schur, is a giant baseball fan and knew the Cubs had some top prospects coming up and they would be good enough to win it all around the time of that time jump in Parks!
You forgot the All in the Family episode where Archie says to Mike Meathead, “You’re going to get Ree-gan in 1980, wise guy!”
The Star Trek episode “The Moon Landing” was one of my favorites!
Star Trek communicators , flip phones.
Why were clips of Smart Guy shown that were completely unrelated? 🤷♀️
7:30
Isn’t that the episode of smart guy where he visits a pdo?
What’s it doing there?
Is this not a reupload? It seems like MsMojo/WhatCulture/WatchMojo is conflating in my head or there are the same lists on multiple sites
As I write / type / post this in the first week of 2025, a question comes to mind which has perplexed me for some time. Contagion prediction of COVID 19 missing.....
Hyde went to jail for taking the blame for Jackie’s weed, not for violent rape.
I don’t think that one really counts.
not so much a world event but mark salling's puck on "glee" says in response to a question made by schue in regards to their future: “In jail, or dead, or both”
which is what happened to mark salling. lol.
I think Google copied the Star Trek glasses, it was not an original idea. Nothis was a prediction, a smart person took advantage.
I wonder if some of these events were actually inspired by the shows episodes. such as the launch date and time of the moon landing
So we got friends to think for the Abomination known as Facebook
So we have the Simpsons to think for he that should not be named becoming president
Re: iPads: 2001:A Space Odyssey predicted it way before Star Trek.
Gotta say I've watched that 70's more than once and Hyde was never a lovable stoner. He's played a selfish asshole who used his friends and only once did something noble for Jackie
I hope Lisa Simpson now gets to be president after Trump..
Say tablets not iPads as iPad is not the only tablet. There are Android tablets
Androids suck
Here we go again😂
The One With The Memorial Service is one of the worst plots in Friends regardless of the fact that in predicted the future.
It would hardly take Nostradamus to predict that Bin Laden was hiding in plain sight in a country that holds the civilised Western world in such contempt.
Number 13. They showed clips from smart guy not whatever show they were talking about
If the Simpsons are correct (about Trump), that means the next president will be a woman.
Future Watch Mojo: How the movie Idiocracy predicted the future
Best movie…”The Social Network”
the o.j book didn't and still doesn't seem sane.
even if you didn't write the book as you say, Why attach your name to anything having to do with that .
This video masterfully combines humor and shock to reveal the surprising foresight of TV writers, making it an engaging and thought-provoking watch.
Do bots make more money if they drop more buzzwords?

#13 uses video from "Smart Guy" while talking about a different show...

Trump first tried to run for President. That's why te joke about Trump being President. But sadly, the joke came true twice.
All the libs in the comments mad about Trump being president again. Y’all are too funny and have horrible short term memory. Our country was way better off with him in office. Now we got a relic who can’t even form a sentence
THE SIMPSONS DIDNT PREDICT SHIT AND NEVER WILL. MOST OF THESE SHOWS DIDNT PREDICT SHIT EITHER
