He sacrificed a lot for Indian Cricket. He could easily have made at least 10 test and 10 ODI centuries more if he chose not to become the Captain of team India. But he never cared for his personal records, and took that responsibility in a very critical time of Indian Cricket. He made this Team India such spirited, that every where in World Cricket they left a mark. His contribution to Indian Cricket is phenomenal. Still he was insulted and mistreated by BCCI, at times of his cricketing career. But people know, what he has done for the nation and he will always be remembered as THE CAPTAIN.

Sachin is the best batsman ever. The emotion of India. I like when Ganguly speaks, cuz he speaks the reality . Gawd , am so blessed already to have watched them play and now breathing the same air with them. My life is done. I wish Sachin never retired , Ganguly could have done what he wanted. But again , whatever they gave to me as a cricket fan , still a bonus for me. Couldnt have asked for more. ThankYou Sachin , Ganguly , Dravid , Sehwag , Anil , Laxman . You guys have turned cricket an emotion in india. Sadly its not the same anymore.

U r right. I was a die hard fan of Sachin and everything in my life was related to cricket. Since 93 to 2008, I hv never missed any matches at live at eden, not even a test day. But now I am not the same fan like I used to be. I am confused whether I ever loved cricket or these legendary cricketers era. India is winning more matches these days, but the emotion, the attachment is not there.
