These both are true gems of India. One - the God of cricket who set the highest standards in batting, and gave Indians the courage to inspire and dream.
The other - one of the best captains the game ever saw - someone who captained India from the poorest conditions after match fixing scandals, less talented players, but brought in new talent, gave them trust in their captain, trained them, worked hard with them, enabled us to dream to win abroad, started doing that, and also brought most of the talent that won us the WC in 2011 after 28 years.

I was just admiring each and every answer that he gave instantly until he answered "To bat like Sachin", when I bursted out emotionally. Whoa! He honoured Sachin, his fellow cricketer of his times and it shows he's humble and honest. Hats off Dada.. Love you as always!
Love, Dada! Sachin has always been my hero ever since I started watching cricket in the early 90's. He has been my greatest hero in life, someone whom I've idolized and will do so till eternity. But I have always loved and admired Dada for everything he has done for Indian cricket. Like Sachin said in his book, Dada gave blood, sweat and tears for 5 long years to build a formidable Indian team. And Chappell took back Indian cricket back by 5 years during his tenure as coach. I just wish Dada would have said something even worse regarding that piece of garbage in this interview. But then again, Dada is a well educated person from an extremely well respected family. He certainly wouldn't stoop down to that level.
