THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME. I've been a Google person from Day 1 (I even own a Pixel). This will TRULY help, especially since I am a pastor and often save helpful reminders with sermons and I present my bulletin on an overhead through Slides. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much! I have been using Google Keep since day one. It's great, but sometimes, I need more formatting options. Being able to move information from Keep to Docs is a game changer. And, the ability to link Keep notes to specific meetings on my calendar is amazing!
Excellent and simply explained. Personally, I use all the possibilities and always try to maximize the potential of each software. On the other hand, people use only basic options. They are either lazy or completely uninterested. They are surprised when you show them how much potential software has and that it's not just about basic functions. Thanks for the informative video!
Wow - Thanks for the tips!! - Fantastic video. I LOVE Keep but have been irritated by the lack (My ignorance) of integration. I'll be using this every day !!!! Some videos just do things right.🤯
This is good stuff! I was hoping I would be able to back up selected Google Keep notes to a specific folder on my google drive, each Keep note being a separate google doc.
I love Keep😍. Thanks for this video, I learned some new stuff. Anyone knows why inserting images on the phone (android) app for keep doesn't work? It works well on my iPad but stopped working on my phone
Good tip but has a limitation that you didn't mention. Notes to be pasted into a document from keep must be located in the main area for notes. You do not have access to notes that are further down in the archive system. However, this is solved by putting a "Pin" on the note that you want to copy so that it is lifted up and becomes available on the main table. 😊
Hi Awesome video! Is It possible to make the other side, example bring the notes from a Keep account on Gmail to another Gmail account and just stay with the notes?
love this - it was really helpful. However, can you help me understand why I would use keep notes over just opening a google doc and typing my notes? I take a ton of notes (from calls, things I ready or hear on a podcast, meetings, trainings, etc). Now I open a doc and type a note or write notes down in a notebook (which I never find later . I want to be more efficient with my notes and actually be able to access the information. Just not sure this isn't just creating another type of document?
It really comes down to personal preference. The method shown here is primarily for users who take most of their notes in Keep and then may want to add them to a Doc later on.
Is there a way to dynamically link a Google keep note into Google docs? I have a Google keep note that i update on a regular basis (on my mobile device) and I want it connected to a Google doc document without having to, manually, copy it into the Google doc every time I make change in the Google keep note.
How great would it be if in the gdoc, in the comments box, you could bring up a drop down of your keep notes & simply click on it to add as a comment instead of having to copy & paste it. thanks for the video
Very helpful. Can I add select text (with the Google Doc link) and add it to an existing Google Keep note? I can only make it work when creating a new note.
Salve. I really appreciate your videos, so much so that I've been convinced to base my entire management system on Keep (leaving OneNote) - I have a question: does the activity on the calendar not report any warning that a note is linked to it? Would it be possible to have this indication? Thanks for the reply
So glad that you are enjoying my content! As for your question, unfortunately not. But later this year, we are expected to see some new integrations between Keep, Calendar, and Tasks which should enhance this.
is it possible to synchronise google docs automatically with keep notes? Drafts doesn’t has an API with Keep, so I wanted to create a workaround where I can write something in Draft, that gets synchronised with Google Docs and then also in Keep Notes.
Unfortunately, there's currently no built-in way to directly copy multiple documents/notes/text files from Google Drive/Docs to Google Keep in one go without opening them individually.

Transferring data from docs to Google keep is really awesome.
This was a game changer for me. Thanks so much. I've been doing it the hard way.

Now i can give up on Notion. This is what I've been looking to do. Best wishes.

Hi Scott, Great video. Is it possible to do the same things with Google docs en Tasks? So I want to put a Google Document in a task?
Unfortunately, the same connection does not exist with Tasks. You could just add the Doc's share link to the Tasks description as a workaround.
@@Simpletivity Ok thx. Keep up the good work
Will do, thanks!
Need to be clear about the relevant platform - does this work in all versions of docs - Inc android?
Very helpful. Can I add select text (with the Google Doc link) and add it to an existing Google Keep note? I can only make it work when creating a new note.
Unfortunately not, or at least not that I'm aware of. Sorry.
This is a slapper
Hi Scott, where do you keep longer & long-term notes? I think keep is not really good for this kind of notes
I would suggest Google Docs if you want to stay in the Google suite. But I do keep Lon- term notes in Keep (but not very lengthy ones)
Yes, Google Docs can be used for this purpose if you'd like to keep things within the Google eco-system.

Keep Notes is good but you can't add pdf files to a note. That's a big no go for me.
Yes, it would be a great win if we could attach such files.
