You can actually sort the category by adding a number in the beginning (16:02)
For example:
1- Personal
2- Family
3- Work
After you do that google keep will automatically sort them.
:)

Glad you enjoyed it!
thank you!!!!!!
I think this information is very good
Thank you for the video - VERY HELPFUL!
Do you know how to do the following two things?...
(1) Is there a way to add another date field, other than the reminder? It appears Reminder simply will not let me change to a date BEFORE the present day, or go back to edit to an earlier day. I ask because I would love it if past/completed events can be put in as a new note - sort of a historical entry of a past appointment or completed event (seems like, if you "miss the boat" and do not enter ahead of time, you are out of luck there). It would just make the Keep app even more useful to add another "custom" date field.
(2) How do you somehow tell a date to jump onto your Google Calendar so it shows up there as well as in your Keep notes?
Thanks again!
Very helpfull ✔
Glad you think so!
How can I hide the picture(s) on top of the notes? Sometimes they are so big that the note takes a full page on my iPad.
I don't want to see the picture at first; I only want to see the picture when I open the note.
Thank you Scotty. One thing I would like to know is if Keep is secure?
Thanks as always for your helpful content. Greetings from Melbourne
Since everyone's definition of secure is a little different, I'll just point you to the facts:
support.google.com/keep/answer/10431250?hl=en#:~:text=Your%20content%20is%20stored%20securely,%2Dtransit%20and%20at%2Drest.
Thanks for the video, how do I arrange notes on descending order of creation/edited date?
Thanks for the Informative video
Do you guys know an offline application like Googlekeep with markdown support?
Thank you for this video Scott, very well done as always.
Quick question for you: Do you know if there's a way to search, not only a Note, but a word inside a Note on the mobile application on your smartphone?
On a PC, you can search for a Note with the search field and then open it. Then a CTRL-F gives your your browser search feature to look and highlight for specific words inside your note.
But on the mobile application, once you've found your Note containing the search word you've requested, I cannot seem to find a way to then search INSIDE the note for that specific word. So if my note is really long it's hard to find the paragraph or sentence in which this word appears.
Any idea on how to do that? Or, if it's not there as a feature, maybe you have connections at Google to have them implement it? ;-)
Thanks
Can you use a stylus to take notes and draw in Keep like you can in OneNote? I am researching whether to take my company down the 365 path or the Google path for cloud collaboration.
Can you do nested/sub folder labels?
Can you help me? There is a way to arrange notes in the labelview, not on the homescreen. I saw it on a website. They were keyboard shortcuts. But I forgot the page. Thanks very much
I use this for a shopping list, but I'm left handed so I end up moving items when I scroll with my left thumb on my phone. Is it possible to reverse that?
Sorry, this is not available at this time.
@@Simpletivity OK. Feels like right-hand-ism to me! lol! I will keep watching out for better features.
I've searched everywhere for a way to get PDFs into Google Keep. Then it dawned on me... I could simply convert the PDF into JPGs and upload all those pictures into a note.
Do you need a premium version to get the ability to add Reminders to existing notes? I don't have that on the free version
No, you do not need a premium version of Google Keep to add reminders to existing notes. This feature is available in the completely free version of Keep. Here's some troubleshooting you can try:
- Check if you have the latest version of the Google Keep app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- If you're using a web browser, ensure it's up-to-date

Notes are automatically disappeared whenever a update came from play store, and it will come after 1 week or few days what can I do for this issue
What if i want a hourly reminder. What is the configuration?
My students are using Keep and sending them to me. My Gmail gets alerts for those items. Is there a way to stop the emails from going to my Gmail?
How can notes sort& filter modified date or create date?
its good for paper less work
I like the idea of Keep. I'm currently using onenote, but I cannot copy notes from onenote into keep. Is there a way?
It looks like google keep doesn't have a folder capability like (apple) notes? is this correct? The only way and best way to manage and organise your notes in google keep is via labels?
Could you please help me with how to change font size in google keep ?
Does it allow attach office file from OneDrive?
How do I get my notes off my phone and to my laptop? That's what I really want to do. In my job I take notes and I need to put those notes into a word document. I was hoping I could open Keep on my laptop, copy and paste those notes into Word and tweak the grammar and sentences. I cannot sync the notes from my phone to the laptop. There isn't a single video that shows me how to do this.
do notes is installing linux (fedora) desktop? i am samsung phone / android is notes.
How can this be integrated with Google Assistant?
Could I receive a notification on my phone whenever a note is changed by a collaborator ?
No, that is not yet available with Keep.
I learned nothing new ☹️. Would love to see how some people actually use this app. Sad that it's still bare when it comes to useful features.
What is the difference between Task and Keep ?
Task is more of a true to-do list app while Keep is more focused on note taking.
@@Simpletivity thanks i am watching all your videos...i like very much Google apps ...I am going to focus in gmail, task and calendar ...with this i can manage my construction business
I DID NOT FIND HOW TO SHARE MY NOTE. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SHARE BUTTON?> How do I share a note?
How to attach a pdf like in Evernote
I've searched everywhere for a way to get PDFs into Google Keep. Today while mowing, I figured out I could simply convert the PDF into JPGs and upload all those pictures into a note.

My an Important Note Are Sell by Google Keep Note ...... There Are Save My GMail Password Etc .....Be Aware😭
If only it had an option to attach pdf files too (not only images)
Ajay, obviously not as elegant as Evernote where you can embed PDFs in the actual note, but you could always store your PDFs in Google Drive and link to Google Keep.
Great suggestion, Tam. Thanks for sharing.
