If I look to the guys that research the Milwaukee tools, in their case the 6 is less powerful than the 5 apparently due to the cells used in the batteries. But it also depends on what you want to do with it. The high volume / low pressure end also has a limit to what it will output even if you had a 10 times more powerful battery. It’s the physics of using a fan to push the air out rather than compressing it. On the high pressure end I’d guess there will also be a max pressure relief valve or switch. In either case I’d guess that regardless what battery you won’t get a significant improvement in performance but I’d stress that is only a guess. Sorry I can’t help more.
