But like that’s the whole point of an IGL. IGLs aren’t suppose to have amazing stats, they’re suppose to utilize their teams to the best of their ability. Apex, AleksiB, Hooxi, etc, they all have garbage stats just like karrigan.
@@skrlx111 well thats exactly my point the guy always played along superstars, he played in 2 teams with 4 superstars = prime and most unstoppable version of the greatest rifler of all time niko, prime guardian, rain and olof close to their primes.. what happened? he couldnt call for shit, got obliterated by a simple great anchor play made by stewie2k in the boston major´s most crucial round and then they basically couldnt win not anymore, and remember the guy played like shit back in the 2017 faze.. then again when he won his first major, he played with 4 superstars, broky quite possibly the best lan awper of all time in terms of consistency, also a great rifler a clutchmaster, the prime version of rain, the prime version of twistzz the greatest na rifler, and ropz who at the time was the best lurker and might still be the best lurker in the world. If I put any other great player who can also decently IGL I wonder if they win the same or more. Just saying, I think karrigan is the guy who knows the most about the tactics of the game, but glaive has to be the goat because he won with lesser superstar players, yeah no you can say dupreeh is a god, but he was never and will never be on the level of niko, or prime olofmeister, dev1ce wont ever be as flashy as guardian or broky, rain is a much better rifler than magisk, and so on.
@@sofarsogod Guardian was in his prime 2015 and 2016, not when he was in FaZe, but yes they choked that Major final, which was an issue karrigan had to overcome in general. Calling broky the greatest LAN awper of all time is just delusional, olof was also not in his prime on FaZe either. Don't get me wrong, he had strong pieces in both line-ups and did (by his own admission) fail to deliver the with the Guardian and NiKo version of FaZe, but keep in mind that in 2018, international teams weren't nearly as common or successful as they are now and it took until 2022 for one to win a Major. Rain isn't and wasn't a star in the current iteration of FaZe 0:24 and the one in 2022 despite winning that Major MVP. The reason karrigan got these amazing pieces is because he showed when he first joined FaZe, where he brought k1o back from the dead and had allu as his AWPer and in his time in mousesports, that he can make international line-ups work like no-one else at the time. It is easy to forget that now that most line-ups in the top 10 are international.
