Thanks for posting this. I'm about to clean my carb for the first time. Also, I think it's hilarious that you were able to stay serious even with all of the ridiculous graphics on the bike.
carb comes out with choke and throttle cables on it. first back out the clamps all the way, so u have max play available. bring the airbox boot clamp up the boot, and pull the boot back and wedge it on frame . then the carb will barely clear on the way out. its kind of a pain. it only fits one way, and its easier if the boot is warm and soft. i also had to remove my gas tank to do it.

Thanks! Yeah I haven't ridden for a while so I wanted to improve my skills before buying all new plastics for the bike

The screws are JIS not Phillips. The carburetor bowl screws are soft and using the wrong screwdriver will make pain full-time .
