The service manual does not specify whether the engine should be in gear or not. This video was filmed with the bike in neutral. I wanted to turn the crankshaft without turning the rear wheel. I suppose it can be done while in gear, but any rear wheel rotation would change timing mark alignment on the flywheel. I greatly appreciate your nice feedback. @@XRLand Motocross bikes and got some DRZ/DR650 bikes. Prefer to stick with a carb not a fan of high tech on bikes.
