There is no doubt, Yeoleum Son is one of the best pianists today. She is so expressive and spontaneous. She is not using artificial body expressions, like others, in order to sell the merchandise.

Among all young pianists of the new generations she is the only one who i love her expressions during performance. unlike everyone else she is NOT putting "extra effort" into faking some artificial, elaborate facial and bodily gestures to catch your eye and to look smarter. this is an authentic performance.

I've heard Yeol eum play this piece a good number of times with various orchestras. All of the performances by the orchestras were excellent. The Korean orchestras have, over time, come to equal those of any of the orchestras I've heard in the West. Yet, what makes each of these performances outstanding is Yeol eum's sensational playing which, it seems has Mr. Mozart entering her body and doing an unbelievable job.

She is indeed one of my favorite pianists due to her absolutely beautiful Mozart performances. I do believe that her performance of this 21nd concerto is perhaps the greatest of all time. I must also say that it is remarkable how alive the orchestra feelings in this recording, even if it is not flawless.

In these tumultuous times that we are living with wars over land, wars over religion or wars over nothing, we are at least privileged to also live in a time that allows us to enjoy via internet so many amazing performers like Yeol Eum Son, Anna Fedorova, Lang Lang and so many others that enrich humanity's patrimony.
What a piece of work is man! To indulge in such cruelty and death but also to produce such beauty as this!
always a deep and satisfying pleasure to see and hear yeol eum son play. she is reason that I started listening to pianist in the first place. I can only say that her playing spoke to me.
I know exactly what you are talking about, I just randomly happened to notice how beautiful YeolEum looks when performing and how that just goes hand in hand with how beautifully she plays, now I appreciate classical music a lot more than I used to and listen to it a lot more too.

손열음^^^^^♡❤ 이 곡도 내가 국민학교 3~4학년때 들어본 피아노 협주곡이다. 그 당시 부산 국제시장 주택가 부평동 3가 내가 살던 집에서 희조 누나방에 있던 큰 수제 전축에서...... 대략 한 50년전 쯤 전에 의 이야기다. ㅋㅋㅋ 내가 사랑하는 너의 열음이의 피아노 연주로 다시한번 들을수 있어서 내게는 이 오빠에게는 큰 기쁨이고 영광이다~~~~~~ 손열음 대단하고 대단하다!!!!! 굉장하고 굉장하다!!!!! 열음^^^^^♡♡😂😂😊😊😍😍👍👍💖💖❣️❣️❤️❤️❤️❤️) I LOVE YOU FOREVER (O SUKWANJ^^^^^♡❤)

이 공연의 카메라 연출도 탁월했다. 손열음 피아니스트 정면을 담는 카메라에 담긴 모습이 남달랐다. 무대에서 피아니스트를 위해 비추는 조명과 그림자가 잘 어우러져서 피아니스트가 더더욱 아름답게 노래하는 모습을 볼 수 있었다.
손열음 피아니스트의 무대 의상과 머릿결 꾸밈이 너무도 아름다웠다.
Every note is struck so cleanly & evenly, no matter how qickly or quietly she plays, and does anyone play runs or trills more perfectly? I could watch her & listen to her for hours, (and I frequently do).💕

Yes, captivating as always Yeol Eum Son. I met her here on youtu.be performing this same concert in a Tchaicovsky competition. I am from Argentina and I would like one day to be able to attend one of their concerts in person. With his youth he is already in the Olympus of pianists. Bravo for her.

She tapped into the creative divinity that dwelt in The Zart and performed it.

My favorite Mozart piano concerto played to perfection by one of the greatest pianists of this generation.
The best pc of Mozart and played beautifully, Cry and Laugh, and sing , wished that the world understands this piece!
I had refused to listen to this #21 concerto for some 20 yrs but, somehow, for some reason, for this far away symphony in the East, I decided to relisten to it. Sure enough, their style of playing was not the same as what I am accustomed to hearing in the West. It is surely of a different take, a very interesting interpretation, and not bad. The first section string is given a bigger voice in the orchestra. Lovely 2nd movement as the piano and the orchestra were walking on the same path.

공연을 보고 듣는 시간은 남다른 추억을 가지는 거라고 생각이 됩니다. 좋아하던 곡을 새로운 편곡으로 들으면 특별하다고 느끼게 돼요.
이 공연은 1,3 악장 일부분에서 약간 편곡이 되어 연주를 하셨는데, 저는 탁월한 연주였다고 생각합니다. 즐겁게 즐길 수 있는 공연을 위해서 원곡에만 맞추지 않고, 공연의 리듬을 한층 올려준 간결함을, 감히 제가 높이 평가하고 싶습니다.
