Script: Sol lets go and Squirrelflight trips. She slowly turns her head around to see that SOL has turned into a horrific snake creature. SQUIRRELFLIGHT freezes in fear NOTABLY: when FEATHERTAIL sees that SQUIRRELFLIGHT freezes in fear, she is extremely worried because realizes that the kits will most likely grow up without a parent.

This was awesome! I particularly like the small details that Hollykit is mostly curious about Sol, while Lionkit wants to fight Sol, and Jaykit is mostly scared

I can only imagine the pain Sol was in when he had his transformation. OUCH
I love the little detail of Feather saying "Turn back" and gesturing for the to kits move away

I love the way the angle moves. It creates a great dramatic effect on Sol!
There's also the details of every characters expressions, with each kit reacting differently, and Feathertail going from worried to aggressive... It's perfect.
But Sol himself could've looked more menacing imo. I think it's the pose, he's crouching too much and his arms make him look like he's going to chant "boo" at them
You do realize this was storyboarded, and nettle had to follow the pose given, yes?

this is honestly my favorite map in the full map. I can't begin to say how incredible that turn around shot was i'm sure even james baxter would be proud.

Oh snap this is really god damn good. I've been watching each streams during the process and it's been really fun watching everything come together.
The camera angles and how the camera rotates around the characters is amazing. You can clearly see how each character was feeling and reacting (squilf looks confused and terrified, Holly is curious, feather is preparing to fight and worried about the kits and lion wants to beef). The small lip sync is also really nice and each character interacts with each other.
Sols transformation looks horrific and really well done. Def nailed down the transformation and body horror. No wonder squilf looks scared.
Well done to both you and tigereyes. You nailed the atmosphere of the part and it was fun checking out the progress each stream and you've become one of my favourite animators on RUclips.

Omg this is so good!! The transformation is super well done, and I love the details of Feathertail sayin something to the kits and Lionkit trying to act tough
Oh lordy this is GORGEOUS. The amount of effort and dedication! The panoramic shots were stunning to see. Sols serpent transition was really creative, and I love the reactions of Squilf, Feather, and the kits; how Feather looks to Squilf and tells the kits to get back, and that Squilf is horrified of Sol. It's beautiful looking and goes well with the characters set up in the MAP. You can see Sols serpent shadow dancing around in the floor in one shot. How Serpent Sol waggles his little fingers at the end, and how Feather crouches to jump, which sets up the next part perfectly! I thought that the process you used with the refs was really funny looking but doing it that way is actually really smart. And Tigereyes did really well with their parts on Shot 1! This is so well done and I can't believe you are able to make something so awesome. You're an amazing animator, astounding job Neetle!

Hi! This turned out AMAZING!?! I've been following along on each WIP ever since that first sketch version, and you can just tell how much love and work was put into this! The use of 3D for the background was very clever, and you definitely made it work really well in the finish part! I also really like Feathertail's movement + lip syncing (you can really see a lot of emotions behind each expression!) as well as Sol's transformation (and his animated shadow?? WHAT!?) So many cool little details all over the place, and it really paid off. Great work!

I love all the little details and the camera movement! Even the little eclipse in the background of that one shot! And Snake Sol looks amazing. His movement was super fluid, just as a snake should be! Keep up the great work, Nettle and Tigereyes! :)

I saw the stream and this is awesome! The way squilf curls up and her eyes dialate really shows the detail you put into your animations and it's awesome. The fact holly looks more fascinated with sol and his new body is kinda scary and I love it

Your blood sweat and tears are really on full display! Watching the camera pan with all the characters seeing Serpent Sol is so professionally done and beautifully intricate. HIIII here is my CHADO comment I promisedd wuwuw. You guys FREAKING NAILED THIS. The reveal of serpent sol is so grotesque and shocking as it SHOULD BE. The camera movement is crazy and the way you individually animated each cat with different reactions is SUPREME. I specially like Feather telling lionkit to protect themselves and to defend her mama squirrel who is TO shocked.

Sol’s bounciness and the timing of the animation to the song is absolutely perfect. Also, all the tiny details and love you put into this!! The hand-shading on Sol, the way his eyes go over Squilf’s as his shadow goes over her, Feather and Squilf’s dialogue,, this is so so amazing!! Your work is always a masterpiece and this is no different.

The amount of work that must've gone onto this part! Everything looks amazing and the camera turn around with Sol's shadow turned out great. I love how you make everything look 3D, it gives it a style that can be traced back to you instantly.

Where to begin, for starters, I HAD SO MUCH FUN ON THE STREAMS! I made so many epic friends and I can't thank you enough. Noodlefang, Shoelacefang, all of those are such fun memories and I cherish them forever. Now, the planning for this part is so funny and I love it. I love how you can take any storyboard and just make it so fricking insane and epic, like hawkstorm you smashed the storyboard in the face and said "WHAT ARE YOU DOIN IN MY SWAMP." And showed it who's boss. Now tiger the epic, tiger literally SLAYED the coloring and the shading is so delicious like MMMMMM YESSSS. I love the horror imagery and just those CHILLISSS BABYBACK RIBSSS. Another thing on the color I love the eye on sol in shot 1, it's so squirmy and gremlin and I like how it's green then slowly fades into his yellow snakey eyes. It just gives off that "This isn't even my final form." And I love it so much. FEATHERTAIL THE TRANS RIGHTS HOSTESS, TRANSFEATHER BELOVED. I love the kit trio they're so cute look at them they're all so unique with their reactions to the big snake and he's so scary like ooga booga run kids he's gonna snacktime.jpg you. And mama squilf, poor baby. She has to watch her adopted goth son become a big snake while singing traitor because he got jealous of his other adopted siblings :(. The expression you put in her eyes is just so heartbreaking and I want to just pat squilf on the head like no It's not ur fault. Nettle, you are such an inspiring figure and I could not be happier to have stumbled upon your channel. Thank you so much for all the impacts you've had on my life so far in the art world, even maturing a little bit in the art world. Nettle and Tiger, just such beautiful work you've done here. Take a well deserved rest you two, your hard work is appreciated so so much. Cheers guys, really cheers.

I've watched this so many times already and like, all the effort and details and just how smooth... the backgrounds, I mean everything is so impressive and amazing!!! And going to streams help put some of the that went into this into perspective,,,
In addition to the wonderfully smooth and complex animation, you have the lip syncing, how each character clearly shows their own personality and reaction, shape language, how Sol's shadows surrounds Squirrel, the horrifying transformation with its own... gross details, the beautiful background, the shading and final composting that really brought all of this great work together... It's spectacular! There's even more details I could comment on, but maybe I'll leave that to other people to find~
