He is simply godlike with keys under his hands. He really feels and understands the beautiness of these machines. Love to hear those sounds. Thank you Kebu!
That was a very insightful breakdown of your demo track. I have my Xm since early this year and I am still discovering new things every day I use it. Thanks for the inspiration, Kebu!
These videos are excellent Kebu, breaking down & explaining how the synths rhythm pattern is working to create the tune I find educating especially for anybody starting out in creating their own hardware synth set up. Thanks for your time in putting these videos together.
Ok so I finally got a chance to sit through and listen to the perplexagon album. What can I say, Kebu delivers a diverse range as well as keeping the blood pumping drive truly wonderful experience to listen to I pictured myself playing drums on stage next to the analog synthesizer maestro no doubt about it I’ll be buying this album Thanks Kebu for another breathtaking album
you make me wanna start making music again, but also, as soon as i take out my synths i remember how unskilled i am, and i then go back wathcing you, because you do play these synths so much better
Thank you a lot! I am still amazed about your cooporation with Raphale Baker on your track of Perplexagon 5! ! Love it so much! Greetings from Switzerland
Great tune played on a superb synth by a fantastic artist. I have all your albums and enjoy them very much. Just got my Jupiter xm so hope to produce some of those great sounds and aspire to reach anywhere near your level.
Preciosa, espectacular, really beautiful song and instrumento. You are a very very BEST sound maker and composer. Perdona mi inglés soy español. Gracias por este precioso video vales muchísimo sigue así 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This reminds me of the scene in the movie "Deep Impact", where the news station has their team composer create a theme for the news story that's basically ragnarock. His synth is equally small and the style is vaguely similar.
Keep 'em coming! Personally I don't play any type of keyboard instrument but I thoroughly enjoy hearing them performed by a professional in the style you do. I listen to a lot of Vangelis & Tomita. In a different category & keyboard style I love hearing The Moody Blues. That group had at least 3 different keyboardists throughout the years. There definitely was some conflict between them and the other members I think.
absolutely, especially his intro with the lead i find that whole motif captivating. Hope was the first time i had heard Kebu and i must say now i can't get enough.
Hey Kebu. Greetings from the Netherlands. I like your music very much. I self are exploring MIDI. I bought a second hand digital piano (Yamaha P35) and connected it to my pc and use FL Studio 5 Producer edition. Funny to play guitar on my piano. Besides the Yamaha I have a 2 controller keyboards (Behringer UMX250 and Korg Nanokey)
Kebu, your mastery of your synths is phenomenal. One would think that you invented them. I am loving these videos! I wish that you would make a video of how you created one of your signature tunes like Deep Blue or Perplexagon. I am so curious as to how you composed those and how you use the equipment for a live performance. Thanks again and take care. 👍👍🙏
Although you said some really good things about this Roland keyboard ... this amazing sound is 99% artist! Thanks Kebu for the gift of your time and talent.
05:30-11:15 This is amazing. Thank you SO VERY MUCH for this tutorial / lesson. The introduction part is my favourite part of this track. Having you explain how you made it and then hearing it without the lead part is everything to me. This is what I'd ask if I met you because it's things like this that teach people how to learn to make their own music. I can't thank you enough for this gift. Question: what settings do you have on these arps that change them depending on legato / staccato?
It's incredible, that with such small, but very powerful synth you can make a great music :) Could you make the same video, but using only analog synths?
I could do a break down of my Roland VA-5, as in, break it down with a sledgehammer. Guitar player, knew nada about midi years ago, i did not need all that keyboard. Getting back into music, 25 key Akai/Novation stuff is on the menu, and would love the very affordable Yamaha Reface CS for all it's Vangelis-ness.
Great presentation, thanks for the insight into how you patched the XM. It had never occurred to me before to customise arpeggios for different parts, that's something I will definitely take a look at. What is that app you are running on the iPad? I guess anything will do if it sends/receives the correct CC's?
Thanks! The app I'm running is MIDI Designer, so it's a custom made panel that I created in the app. The controller / software needs to be able to send SysEx as well. You get quite a lot of parameters as CC in the Jupiter-Xm, but to get into certain parameters you need to send SysEx strings of data.
Hi Kebu. May I ask a question? The new Juno-X seems incredibly similar to the Jupiter-X so I was wondering if it is possible to perform the intro with the multiple arps changing as you play the lead) on the Juno-X or if that is a feature only possible on the Jupiter-X? That ability is the defining thing that will make me choose one of them over the other. If you can please help I’d truly appreciate it. Thank you. xXx
Hi Kebu, thanks for all explanations in your videos. I've been watching pretty much all of your videos now and i've been trying to create the sound for your song Hope for so long now. I'm obsessed with it! :D But I have one question: When you changed the lead sound in Jupiter Edge. Did you replace the preprogrammed sound PA001 AnalogAtmosphere with the JX-8P sound you created in another video? If no, which sound did you choose? If yes, did you change something else in the scene? When I choose the JX-8P sound as part 2 in the scene, the volume of the sound is so low??
He is simply godlike with keys under his hands. He really feels and understands the beautiness of these machines. Love to hear those sounds. Thank you Kebu!
I don't know about everyone else but I could watch Kebu play around with synthesizers for hours, days even.
Superb . I cant believe this can all be played live like this on one synth.
Maîtrise total et faisant sortir le meilleur d'un synthé xm/jpx
Bravo kebu 😮❤
The Vangelis of the 21st century.
You mean one of a million copycats
true
You can't knock him, because he is blood good!!!
One day in the future, he will be making scores for films.... if he hasn't already...
Halo Kebu!
Sehr sehr schön.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen aus Deutschland.
That was a very insightful breakdown of your demo track. I have my Xm since early this year and I am still discovering new things every day I use it.
Thanks for the inspiration, Kebu!
What a powerhouse in such a small package!
These videos are excellent Kebu, breaking down & explaining how the synths rhythm pattern is working to create the tune I find educating especially for anybody starting out in creating their own hardware synth set up.
Thanks for your time in putting these videos together.
What a beautiful melody!
The Synthesizer - still the best sounding musical instrument in the world by far..sound is energetic, modern, eargasm !!!
And the best thing is that it can replicate other instruments!
Как же это здорово звучит!!! Дизлайки поставили глухие ребята, можно их понять ☝🏻😊
What a beautiful collection of vintage synthesizers. Love your music.
Excellent sounds, performance and exmplanation, Maestro. Cheers from Italy. Have a glorious weekend!
Muito linda frequência Kebu! Toca a alma.
you make me wanna start making music again, but also, as soon as i take out my synths i remember how unskilled i am, and i then go back wathcing you, because you do play these synths so much better
Greeting from Taiwan.
Amazing, Perfect, Fantastic, Colorful and efficient.
Take Care KEBU
AWESOME - what ever you had going on at 5:00 is excellent - Will be buying an Jupiter-Xm in August for my birthday . . . . 🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎼🎵🎶
Bear in mind that it is a somewhat complicated machine, so make sure to try it before buying it to see if you like working with it.
Very inspiring demo, your skills brings the best of synthesizers, thank you Kebu
Thank you a lot!
I am still amazed about your cooporation with Raphale Baker on your track of Perplexagon 5! ! Love it so much!

You are amazing and you speak beautiful english!
As always, this performance is stunning, and the Roland sounds are just....well...beyond beautiful... Well done Kebu. :)
The way the arpeggios react as you show at 9:35, this is mind blowing ! Fabulous ! ❤️
This is Master Class...
Preciosa, espectacular, really beautiful song and instrumento. You are a very very BEST sound maker and composer. Perdona mi inglés soy español. Gracias por este precioso video vales muchísimo sigue así 🎉🎉🎉🎉

The track it self is a magic
absolutely, especially his intro with the lead i find that whole motif captivating. Hope was the first time i had heard Kebu and i must say now i can't get enough.
You are a Master. For me the beat sound a bit like Vangelis's Antarctica... Is great...
Amazing stuff!

Roland: nice job with the X/Xm, Kebu: great job demoing.

Cool! ❤
7:14 Would it help if you played an arpeggio (starting with the lowest note) instead of hitting the keys at the same time?
Yes, that would be the logical solution, but for some reason it didn't help.
Inspiring...
Bravo!👏👏👏
Amazing !
Thank you! ❤️
du grand kebu.. 👏👍
WoW! Great, thanX!!
Кебу - талант!
Everything he plays turns to platinum

Hey, It was fucking awesome.

Good question! Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the Juno-X. If it has an "I-Arpeggiator" then it should be possible.
👍👏
Cool
Nice Synths
👍👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
Kebu,
when do we find this wonderful tune for download? New album even? 🤔👍
Thank you! It will be released as a single next spring!
@@kebu :
You made my day, Genius! 😃
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Man! I love what you do. I think it's so amazing and beautiful. Could you tell me which exact sound did you use ? I would love to try it. Thanks
Hi Kebu, thanks for all explanations in your videos. I've been watching pretty much all of your videos now and i've been trying to create the sound for your song Hope for so long now. I'm obsessed with it! :D But I have one question:

I don't remember anymore the patch names, but I did replace the lead sound with a custom JX-8P patch I created.
