Perfect, literally a perfect tutorial. I have no idea if I’ll “get it” but no one could have made that more simple than you just did. 🙏 Thank you, I’m going to do this over and over until I come away with something, anything, that looks like a person! Perfect, perfect, perfect!
❤it will be a dream come true if i am able to replicate ur style of potrait sketching…u r truly very talented scottie..thank you for sharing the same with us. 🙏🙏🙏
Love ur technique, u make it look so simple, u problably also had years of experience. I dont think I can nail it the first time, but must try it out 😊
Love your tutorials ❤ big thank you! Request: Could you make a video on sketcking people from life and not from photos Will your approach be different?
I love you tutorial, it allowwed me to draw a mini portrait like easy and not so un proportion but I always get stuck with portrait of lady with bangs It quite difficult to get the hair line right if you can guide me I will very appreciated 🙏
Beautiful interpretation. Easy explained way of sketching, thank you. One question tho, your choice of using purple for shadows is brilliant but i could never have come to that choice, can one use another color for shades? is this a matter of personal choice? Thanks.
Hi! Are you using uniball eye micro black for all your sketches? Or other model of uniball? Is is water resistant? I was thinking of ordering some on Amazon but i’m not sure if they are water resistant …
I use the uniball eye micro mostly but sometimes the uniball eye ultra micro. They are both waterproof. On amazon sometimes they are called uniball vision instead of uniball eye.
@@SketchingScottie Thanks a lot! I just started sketching. I used to paint with oil but I realized that I postpone it a lot just because the process is so complex and asks for time and lots of preparation/cleaning. Sketching is more quick and I need less materials. So I can always do it in a short break, in the evening or on vacation. I bought an uniball eye micro and a fine one. I like some thicker lines. Thanks a lot for your answer. You're doing a great job !!

Thanks! Yes the purple is just personal choice but I find it works well with most colors and keeps the sketch looking light and vibrant.
