Joe's still got all the moves and chops, obviously. I could never understand why this never charted when it was originally released as a single back in 1979; it's easily as good as the previous 45: "Is She Really..." (which almost cracked the UK top ten, peaking at No.13) and arguably better. Great performance from a New Wave veteran - thanks for uploading.
Joe, love your music. I think you are a true music genius. "Look Sharp" and "Night & Day" are still among my most beloved albums of all times.. . But please... PLEASE, quit the plastic surgery; it's making you look ridiculous and it's very embarrassing. Every year I see you, man, it gets worse and worse... You are starting to look like Chucky. It is okay to get old. The talent grows from the inside.
Joe is really great and Graham Maby, as usual, owns the bass. Prefer the original band and the drummer rushes tempo up a bit on the chorus which were rough but this tune is always solid.
