You must be more well off than you claim to buy a 16 year old a jeep. Most families can barely afford one car for the entire family, never mind a car for a KID!!! You tube must be paying very well these days! Good luck to you all, but don't say that you have no money and get people to send you things for the kids!

He’s such a good kid. I’ve been saving for this jeep for a year cuz I knew I wanted to get it for him! I have lost track of how many times he told me over the past 12 years ‘Mom, I want a jeep when I turn 16. The kind where I can take the top off.’ 😭😭🧡

True eldest child, doesn't mind all the kids all over his brand new car and even thinks about their safety with hitting their head on the bars so he keeps the cover on. My older sister is the same way, always an older sibling!!

Ps: Alicia, order him a locking gas cap. My ex boyfriend had a Jeep and that’s one of the first purchases he made. The exposed gas cap makes him extremely vulnerable, especially in this economy.

@@mauricecooper9763 It’s weird how Jeep still makes vehicles with the gas cap just out in the open like thieves don’t exist. You gotta lock that up. I’m not about to let this baby get his gas stolen.
I don't have a Jeep but I have a Subaru and I am so happy that you can only open the gas cap from the inside. But my Dad has a deconstructed Jeep and I was so fascinated by it when he brought it home (with the intention of rebuilding the inside and restoring it completely).
When he said he was leaving the zippered thing on so the kids wouldn’t hit their heads against the bare bar, I knew how worthy he was of this and then some! 💙

Now get that attitude outta here, it’s not Alicia’s fault ppl like her content. It’s a fact they need a lot of money to provide for their family. Compare her to the other family channels that constantly have to create fake drama to stay relevant, Alicia just films her day to day live and provides her kids with more things that most of us could ever hope to get. Remember that 8 of her kids are adopted/foster placement so really this live with Alicia and Josh is 1000 times better than what the system would have been like for them. Perspective is everything.

Aw, Jordan's excitement was WAY too cute! 🥰 Congrats, Alex. My Dad was a saint when I first started driving. I unintentionally gave him whiplash, almost demolished garbage cans, ran over curbs and went around corners extremely sharp. But what helped me was he would be calm the whole time. It helped me calm down and drive a _little_ better. I can see you guys trust him with driving which is extremely important to a young first time driver. My car's name is Elvira. (Mistress of the Dark 🤭🖤)

Dreams really do come true and Alex deserves ever he gets. Bessy is gorgeous and the all black really sets off Alex’s amazing flame coloured hair. Alicia and Alex cruising around with the top off the car would be a sight to see. As a fellow redhead, I am forever jealous of the vibrancy of their beautiful red hair.

When I saw him looking at the car for the first time I had tears in my eyes, I am so happy for him!! You guys are the biggest blessings a kid could ever ask for and such a shining light. Congrats Alex! You may want to look into locks that secure the doors to the car for if/when you take the top off. We had a Jeep Wrangler years ago and the doors got stolen when my husband was in class at UCLA. And also a lock for the spare tire. Happy driving!!

Jeeps don’t have a good safety record. Love the Jeep, however a used car with the best safety record is best for a new driver. The Jeep could come later. You are so generous and loving with your children.
Alex knew you loved him before the jeep, but what a affirmation you’ve given him. You told me when you were 4 you wanted this and I remembered and held that ready for when you turned 16.
What a positive way to show how much you listen and care. It doesn’t take a Jeep to do that it’s a daily thing but you are an amazing example of how it’s done!

SO these comments about to much sugar are the comments the Good mother should take to the heart. 1 of these children is demanding healthier option, but it’s to the parents to CARE that all the kids are eating healthy and not the ton of sugar. Sugar is not only in the candies. Yoghurt with mm’s is the candy. Donuts for breakfast. Every drink in can or bottle that is not water is Candy in liquid form.

Wow that’s awesome! One thing I would recommend though with that year jeep is to get a locking gas cap. 1) so no one can easily steal your gas, and 2) so no one tries to taint your gas tank by adding sugar, etc. Also if he plans to drive at night a lot I’d recommend changing the bulbs in the headlamps to LED! The halogen ones aren’t the best. Safe driving!

Absolutely loved this video. He had such a genuine smile as he started his new car. My husband in 2017 got his dream jeep so I understand that smile. Congrats to your boy. @@DoughertyDozen Hubbie and I carry a bag if duckies in the Jeep and we rotate them with seasonal ones as needed, you can find the tags for free online or he can make his own and get the rubber duckies at the dollar tree.

Make sure he knows the "Jeep Wave". We had a similar Wrangler in 2008, but being older we realized it wasn't the right fit for us. But for Alex, it's perfect. We've been Jeep owners for 22 years, but we're old so we needed something else. 😂Now we're Bronco owners. Still love Jeeps but we needed a change. Congrats Alex!!!

So he can practice driving in that car. It’s better to practice in that car than the big van the mom drives
@@Kevannaw18 it’s definitely not better to practice in a jeep lol, they’re not the best first cars or the best cars to drive in. They are really easy to tip or roll if you go around a bend just a little too fast. Also if it’s really windy, it’s pretty hard to drive them bc the wind doesn’t flow across the car as well as it would with like a sedan. My friend in hs saved up for one and gave it up in a year bc the gas was very expensive to keep up with and it was unsafe. One of the parts flew off when she was driving 🤦♀️ also once she love tapped someone and that small love tap caused a lot of damage to the other car which ended up rising her insurance a LOT. Plus the tires are so expensive! Definitely not the best car to get a teenager who’s still learning to drive.
