I totally agree!🧡🧡🧡
I was thinking the same! Just want to hug that big red-headed big guy! You re awesome!! Thank you and have fun guys!

when the lady on the plane asked if you're a camp and Josh said "nope they're all mine" with a big grin on his face - this love is why I will happy watch hours of footage of your family

@@MoiraCaitlyn 36:15 !
Very helpful of them
I love you .
God Bless all of you. You are truly a loving family. We need more of in this world.
I love how Alex and James are helping with the kids and getting checked in.
Agreed. They were very helpful
It's so sweet to see that.
I’ve seen them holding the little ones and carrying them on their back/neck…lovely to see 💜
And Dayshawn! He's a good helper too!!!
&dayshawan
I love how calm Alisha is!! Everything ran so smoothly and with 16 people that is not an easy task!! All the kids are so polite and well-behaved. No meltdowns!!! Have the best time in NYC!!👍🏻❤️

I love seeing how helpful your older kids are. Without you even having to ask. Speaks volumes of you and Josh. 🧡
They could be more Helpful if they pack their own things
@@StuckInSyrup I think they probably did that together. Especially the older kids.
@@amyk6453 no they didn’t… she says that in the video about packing I think it was. Or Laundry
It works for her so 🤷🏻♀️
@@evelinakarlssonnn She explained why she does all the packing and that the kids have packed their own things before and it just didn’t go well. Lots of things forgotten etc....
I love how Dayshawn lightly touches Bodhi's bag at 42:54 so he wouldn't wander away from them💗 He's been helping around a lot and seems to be much more comfortable now.
Also, have fun in NYC Dougherty Dozen!
Correct, I noticed that too
Love that Dayshawn just takes control and unloads that van!
He really seems like such a sweet soul. Neveah too 💜
Yea he is sweet boy so help full
What a blessing noticed that too
Agree ☺️
As an educator (college level), I see leadership potential in Dayshawn and I am so happy for him that this family opens up new ventures and opportunities for him to grow and better himself (and Naveah too).
I'm so happy for Neveah and Dayshawn!
How well adjusted and acquainted they have become in such a short amount of time.
ENJOY YOUR TRIP GUYS!!!
Enjoy your trip beautiful family! Have a lot of fun !!!
I love how Alicia doesn’t do a lot of editing in her videos. It means that everything we see is real, and not scripted. So, parts that were “weird” in a good way aren’t cut out! It also takes us along with them, and shows us how long it really takes!
Me too. It makes for a more interesting video. Enjoy your trip Doughherty’s.
Yes I agree. She's not afraid to show us the real her and their family. I love love love this about them❤❤❤❤
Real family...I had to giggle at Harley's shirt stuck in her leotards..
Just real stuff!

Even without coffee, Josh is being very patient with all the kids in a chaotic moment lol. Great job everyone!

Thanks! 🧡🧡🧡

That is so cute, Dayshawn and Neveah got window seats for their first time flying!

So happy for those two!!! what a thrilling family moment for them :):)
Totally amazed at how well all the kids did going through the whole airport stuff, and they older kids for bringing the suitcases to the back of the party bus to be loaded. Everyone flows good with each other.
Enjoy your trip In NYC.. can’t wait to see your Central Park pics 🙂
Thank You 🧡🧡🧡
Bree has the prettiest smile! What an absolute doll.
I agree, its beautiful 😍
She’s such a sweetheart
Kudos to you n Josh for raising your children with love n kindness. To move 12 children seamlessly through the airport at that hour is outstanding. Shows your awesome organizational skills! Well done! Safe travels!❤️
Don't care what some say, the matching shirts is a great idea. Looked a wonderful start to your holiday. Love from 🇬🇧. XX
Matching shirts are always a good idea when taking a group of kids out in public, family or not. Not only are they easier to spot in crowds, but in the event one does get lost, no one has to try to remember in a panic what they were wearing.
Thank you! 🤗🧡🧡🧡
@@su-rv2uq Hey, that is a good reason.
Tbh I would want to wear my own clothes…I think maybe the older ones wouldn’t like it! But they seemed fine with it in the video and u have your own opinion, I have mine so no beef here!😊
@@Boba4life182 I'm a retired teacher and regularly took classes out on trips. In the UK all students wear uniform. It made it much easier to spot them. They often weren't too chuffed about it either! 😕 x
Everything down to the morning affirmations with Harlee… I’m in awe of what you do, mom! So much love in that household. Grateful that people like you exist in this world. 💕
First, the matching shirts looked so awesome on everyone. Even the airport staff knew you were a group. I loved how the staff was just so calm, entertaining and helped make the process so much less stressful. He didn’t split anyone up and helped you all stay together. Alex, James and DayShawn were so super helpful without being told and always being true Gentleman. James’ excitement on the bus with his beaming face was so sweet. Kudos to Oma and Oppa for keeping the kiddos entertained. Hope your trip is as excellent as you all are. 🤍
The shirts were definitely a great idea!! They look so sweet 🤍
Great travel experience for everyone 🧡🧡🧡
@@DoughertyDozen - Hope we get to see you and wave today as we too will be at the game. I promise I won’t intrude. I’ll just wave (and probably will be to nervous to do that lol)
What patient airport staff! Love this experience with the family and being a part of it.
I love the kids being responsible with their backpacks even though some of them look bigger than their size and heavier too. I love older siblings who take charge of the luggage even younger ones lend a hand too. I like how they take care of each other, such organized chaos. Looking forward to watching your adventures in NYC and other future videos.
It must have been a hassle to do all of this while recording. Thank you for sharing this with us. I live all the way in Asia so I don't really have much experience with airports in America so this was so much fun to watch
I also wanna say that your tone of voice is very calming so it makes the whole watching experience stress-free despite everything that is going on in the video. I can't wait for more NYC vlogs!
America isn't only USA tho..
Glad you enjoyed it!🧡🧡🧡
@@terrylynn9984 I wasn't talking only about Canadá but America in general. Is like Asia, Oceania, Europe.. it's a continent from Canadá to Argentina, you like or not. Your country is called United states of America, not only America. Your country is part of America not all them.
@@terrylynn9984 in South America and Central America they are americans aswell.
@@terrylynn9984 I'm sorry but native americans are the real americans. You are only talking about North America but there's much more. You need to buy a map and learn history before Columbus.
I know I'm being repetitive, but I'm in awe how well Alex, James, Dayshawn (sp?) helped out with the younger ones getting through the airport and keeping them calm. I know traveling with that many people especially that many kids is overwhelming, but having all that help wow!! Safe travels, and enjoy your time in NYC. Great job Alicia and Josh 🤗

It’s hard to fly with a family of 4! Can even imagine 14! Y’all are really strong people and y’all are just amazing!
Facts
Its so true
Luckily 4 of kids are teenagers.
@MIA IS MINE. NEN is super rich so they buy the best plane tickets and I saw a couple times kass and and husband josh flew private to like a private island they know also a lot of nen kids are grown so she only take 10 and most nen kids are old enough to help out most of alicas kids are younger
@MIA IS MINE. still 10 ppl Is a lot tho
You have amazingly well behaved kids! No yelling, fighting, asking for everything in sight, etc...hope you guys have an awesome visit in NYC!
This is how children act that get things. Mine were the same way. The children that have fits get nothing and freak out.
James is such a gentle soul, and he was sooo happy with the bus 😁. The older boys are such good helpers . I love this family 💖💖💖
Traveling with young children stresses me out and I just have two! And there's no way I'd be vlogging during the process. You are seriously incredible! May the coffee be strong! Have a blast!
I watched you preparing to fly to New York, and I watched your trip to Las Vegas. It’s amazing how even the little ones seem to be organized. I do have a couple of suggestions, when I have a special bag that I have to take on board and don’t want it checked, I always tied a wide distinctive ribbon on the handle so I could tell in a minute, which one it was. The other suggestion was, after watching you hand label all their water bottles on your way to Las Vegas, get some inexpensive address labels at big lots and just print multiple pages with each of their names on it. you can even have the kids help label items. The kids can cut them apart into strips with all their names, and keep them in an envelope. OK, back to the video!
I love it how you show the reality of traveling with kids. It’s real life and I appreciate your content. I’m traveling to Orlando, Florida next month with my 13 year old and fiancé I’m feeling great after watching this it will be our first time flying out of Boston, Ma. prior to covid. This is what you call REAL CONTENT. Enjoy all your videos.
Josh comforting Neveah during the flight , so sweet!💕
Omg I love how Alicia & Josh’s carryons say “Mom & Dad” 🥹🥹🥹😍 and awww look at the gentlemen you all are raising helping that woman 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
It takes me more than one hour in the morning to feed my 4mo baby and prepare for kindergarten my 2yo little girl. And I am so tired all day, although I sleep at least 6 hours per night. I cannot even imagine how you handle it, Alicia! Sending love ❤️
You should sleep more than that if tou can
Noemi, you rock.
That’s awesome Noemi! It’s a tired life when the kids are all little.
Alicia is amazing isnt she! I got 4 (a 10, 5, an 3 year old an a 6 month old). Its a handful getting everyone fed dressed and ready an out the door I’m rarely on time anymore even if I start an hour before!

I remember flying with 5 kids...I can't even imagine! The kids were so good. Have a great time in NYC!
Seemed to be a pretty smooth trip. A real testament to how you and Josh have raised these children to feel safe and secure in all situations.
Holy cow, this one gave me anxiety! You guys did a phenomenal job getting all of those kids through in a timely manner! I was very impressed at how you guys kept your cool even with Josh not having his coffee! I hope you guys have fun on your vacation to New York! You and your family deserves all the blessings that has and will be given!
I know I was not the only one who got genuinely sad when she ended the video now was I? I really enjoyed this one,I loved seeing an airport that I've never seen before🧡.. Alex really did a great job as the oldest didn't he,wow I was very proud of him.. I hope you all really enjoy yourselves, especially you (Alicia) and Josh you 2 seriously deserve this not just for being such amazing human beings, great people and wonderful parents but because you literally have defied the odds, 19 years of marriage, lots of heartache with infertility, fostering children, adopting those children, and helping a friend in serious need with her children and treating them like they are y'alls own,and let's not forget ALL the (BS) y'all put up with from social media!! Josh is also a special needs teacher which in itself is just AMAZING!! So yeah HAVE A BLAST GUYS FOR REAL

@@crystalclear111 yes that’s exactly how I feel I can’t watch them no more there’s people that are struggling and starving and this one is spending money like she’s gets it out of running water I really can’t I’m a 69-year-old widow struggling to survive and this one is here buying thousand dollars worth of food she gets me sick! 🥲😞
@@joanntessel1026 how much do you realistically expect her to spend if she can’t spend money on food to feed all 14 of them. When you do the math she’s doing good spending that amount on food
@@joanntessel1026 I really hope you get help.
She adopted so many kids and is helping them to get the best life they could ever imagine. She is spending money feeding and taking care of children, how this makes you sick!?
I'm sorry that you're struggling but you hating someone helping other people won't help your situation.
I wish you the best.
I have travel with 4 kids and 2 are are teenagers they are more responsible but I still cried the way there and back 😂 of the stress I had to encounter with the whole traveling process(I just like getting to my destination and being at home the rest is a whole anxiety process) she is really a lady of steel 💪🏻
Harley's expression from 7:07 - 7:17 😅
Too cute. She looks like she's wondering,
"why are my brothers the way they are? 🤨'
We need a “here’s what my twelve kids ate today, on flight day!” Have fun!
Yess😊
yess 😊
😂
Seriously? You want a report on what some kids ATE? You do know they are real children right, and not performers for you? Making requests of what you want to know about them or what you want to see them do is really rude. I see these kinds of requests often on family vlogs and I think people forget the kids aren't trained seals.
@@su-rv2uq ok, it was kind of a joke tbh. it’s something that they post often and I wondered if they would do it in nyc. but yeah, I know these are real kids and a real family. i’m not demanding to know what they ate, but the kids aren’t ever in those bonAppetit videos it’s just the mom who took a picture of the food.
Alex is a very good big brother, very helpful and keeps an eye on the little ones. Dayshawn and James also helps right away without being asked. I enjoyed this vlog so much! Keep em coming and enjoy your trip!
Alex has went with Alicia shopping before and is always helpful then too, like loading heavy packs of gatorade for her and stuff like that. Really all the older boys are helpful. They raising considerate young men.
love the affirmations you do for your kids i wish my parents taught me that at a young age it would’ve helped me a lot !

Y'all are BEYOND brave!! We only have 5 kids and flying with them was crazy. Well at least the checking in/going through security in the airport part. And you are even able to vlog? You are remarkable!
All i'm thinking about is the bill the they ran up at the airport store. Pro tip: bring an empty water bottle for each of the kids to fill after security. Also, headphones and stuff can be bought outside for a much cheaper price (which i'm sure you know).
Wow for 12 kids that was an extremely organized and efficient boarding process! Way to go everyone! And the check in man was so personable and pleasant!
Amazing video!! So smart to go early. The memories and experiences you are giving your children are priceless. Keep up the great work ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ thanks for sharing.

Dayshawn busy eating the camera while unloading the littlest one freaking out lol 😆 😅 🙃 😂 🤣 so funny this fam is just too cute!
Security was awesome and seemed so nice to each of the kids and made it kind of fun lol. You all make it look great!
Agreed
Yeah I personally think here in Western New York, because it is not crazily populated or busy, people do take everything slower and nicer, and having conversations with eye contact, which could be a culture shock for someone from a rushy area.
Ya'll have the patience of Job! I love how sweet and kind your children are!
I swear if I had that many kids, and had to leave that early for the airport that I’d forget a kid. It would truly be “Home Alone” all over again. Your family kicks some serious a@&! Definitely looking forward to your next video.
I doubt you would leave a kid because you would have others yelling “wheres so an so”
I mean this in the non-creepiest way possible but watch these kids too much, now I love them like they’re all MY little siblings/nieces/nephews 🥹❤️
So smart to allow the extra time you need in the airport. I think that is what stresses so my travelers out, is they don't allow themselves enough time to navigate through it. You almost need a GPS to get through the larger airports, lol. Love this video!! I also love how the teens are so helpful with the younger kids and the luggage!!!
So true! 🧡🧡🧡
Makes me feel better knowing if you can travel with 12 kids on your own, that I’ll be able to handle traveling 1 child myself 🥰
