Great video, thanks for posting. What I like about this video is that it is 2 minutes of information, delivered in 2 minutes. I am tired of listening to 15 minute videos for 2 minutes of information. Barkeepers Friend works well too, the powder works better than the liquid. Looking forward to your next videos!
This is gonna be a fun process! This raccoon Creek runs through the area I live in Ohio. I've also heard of a Raccoon Creek that runs through Pennsylvania. Where are you located?
Very cool vid! Extremely helpful, and timely. I've got a 90 gallon that's been sitting in my basement for 6 years. I'm thinking about setting it up again. Hopefully it doesn't leak. I'll try some apple cider vinegar to get it sparkling again. Thanks for posting!
I've used vinegar and Bar Keepers Friend and I just tried using your method with the apple cider vinegar left it overnight and I still have mineral deposits in the same area didn't know if it had stained door etched itself very well in their if you have any idea please respond back thank you
I tried pure white vinegar with the paper towels over night. Also used a razor and I still can't get the white stuff off the glass. Any other recommendations?
Dear Jake: I have used vinegar before, but I never let it sit. I didn't find it very effective. Thank you for showing me the secret to get it to work! All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar

apple cider vinegar is also to be used around the rim of running aquarium.is it harmful for fishes if a drop mixed in aquarium water. Your video are very infofrmative and helpful for us.thank you.
What do you do when this doesn't work? I've let straight white vinegar sit overnight while the tank was on its side so that it covered the whole side. Didn't seem to touch it. I've now tried Bartender's Secret, fine grit sandpaper (1000, 3000, 5000), and combos of the sandpaper with each. Now I've tried straight muriatic acid with the 55 gal tank on its side and let it sit overnight. Even used the 3000 grit in it with the acid (using gloves of course). Still not clean. It is outside. I understand about the fumes. Need some help before I give up and call this used find a loss.
Why does it have to be Apple Cider Vinegar? That's more expensive than White. I tried White Vinegar and that didn't work to clean my 20 gal hard water stains however. I have very hard water.
Let me know what you use to get the tough mineral deposits and grime off used aquariums!
I actually use toothpaste
Why do you have 90 used tanks?
Nathan Jarmin- does toothpaste work??
@@noodlesgirl3 nah he just uses it because it’s completely ineffective🥴
White vinegar works even better and it’s much cheaper.
Thank you for the trick, I had a really tough mineral buildup that was driving me crazy but thanks to you I took care of it so easily.

The tiny little tank in the background omg the cuteness
Wow! Thanks for this video, I just took in 3 crested geckos with a huge tank you can't even see inside! I will definitely be trying this!
Whoaaaa 90 tanks... Awesome can't wait to see the finished product! Where are you located theres a Raccoon Creek near me :)

Awesome! I've always like the dimensions of 75 and 90 gallon aquariums. Apple cider vinegar should do the trick for you!

Do not let the vinegar mix with the water. It will have your parameters all screwed up and your fish could die
Great point! That's why you rinse well before setting up the tank
What camera did you use for the fish clip at the end of this video?
Does it have to be organic
Nice 👍
Thank you, Angelo!
How do you clean Moss out of a dry fish tank without Scratching your tank up
My aquarium is to big to clean this way I can't lift it to rinse out, is there a way to clean it. It 100 gallons.
Exactly what I want to know too... all these cleaning videos are with small tanks!
Lemon juice has a lower PH. Also ppl are using Bar Keepers cleaner that makes tank look brand spanking new
my 50 gl is still bad

Polish it with glass polish. Has grit in it like toothpaste does...
Tartaric acid

Didn't work cause you cheaped out on 💰 for apple cider vinegar...
Pressure washer
That works, if you have one!
No, not really...
so I need to get the apple cider vinegar instead of the regular one
No, just let it sit covered overnight 🤞
This video ia for lazy people XD No elbow grease XD....
This DID NOT work. My tank still has stains!!
Good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good
Barkeeper's friend too
