12:25 Pro gamer move that you can do to have a smooth collar after folding it is to add few ( around 4, 2 for each side of the line that you were folding on) internal lines there. Internal lines affects topology, so triangles will be so small that the folding there will look very smooth!!
Thanks for sharing this tip! You can also remove a property on internal lines called Folder Rendering that eliminated a hard line on folded internals - And extra pro-tip is to change those folded pieces to quad mesh. To do this select the piece and in the property editor at the very bottom you will fine miscellaneous. Open that area and you can change piece mesh to Quad. This makes folded areas look very smooth. And of course lowering the particle distance. Hope that adds to your knowledge!

Hello CLO, I am so excited about Part 3 of the series and this first lesson was great! I've encountered 2 problems and would so appreciate your help: 1. When I folded the collar and cuffs, they remained grey, even when I clicked away with the Select Tool. How do I make them return to white? 2. At timestamp 27:57 using the Pleats Sewing Tool, the sewing is mirrored on the back but not on the yoke. When I try to apply sewing there is an error message "overlapping sewing line." Is there a work around for this?
Hello Sarah. When using the fold tool, the garment defaults to Textured Surface. If you switch tools and it is STILL grey, change to Thick Textured Surface in the 3D Toggle Menu > Garment Rendering. The video itself is only 27:50... I cannot check what you mentioned. I will say "Overlapping Sewing Line" means there is already a seam line in that place.

hello. I don't understand why you change "custom angle" to "turned" in property editor after sewing together small pieces of pleat on the back detail of a shirt. I checked the video called "sewing" where you use "turned" for collar and I can see how the look of a collar changes during the proccess. But I don't see any difference when I turn on "turned" for the pleat on a chirt. Why do we do that?
Hello. I assume you are speaking about the sewing at approx 17.25. Turned seams will help the pattern lie flat. There is an example here. support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000496627--Property-Sewing-Line-Type

Hi, at the back yoke pleat, when I sew all the pleated piece to the back yoke piece, I get small triangle like pieces showing the back of the fabric. Anyone knows why this is? I tried several times to eliminate this but could not.
When you select a piece of fabric look in the Property Editor and you will want to Check the box next to double sided. you can find this below Curved Side geometry and above Simulation properties. it wont show that it is double sided unless you render or check Thick Texture Surface in your 3d window settings.
