This is a very comprehensive tutorial! Exactly what I've been wanting to do since I started learning CLO. I had a little hiccup around timestamp 35:30 where instead of Right clicking with "Edit Curve Point" Tool, I used "Transform Point/Segment" Tool to find the option to "Optimize all Curve Points"
I understand these are are older videos, but decided to keep going through them since I’m learning so much!!! Just thought I’d mention this point in case it’s helpful to anyone!
The Part 2 Editing module has been great, really nicely explained, and good to put a lot of the functions we learnt through the different lessons into practice in the pattern drafting Lesson 6. Thank you Clo-fam! 🙏
Hi, thank you so much for the tutorial! I have a question regarding 35:00. When I select the two segments and choose 'Replace as Pattern Outline', I get the error message saying 'Points are too close together...'. And I get that no points should be overlapping, but since the segment is broken by 'Extend & Add point' there have to be two points(internal and pattern) overlapping. If I try to move or delete the overlapping point on the Outline, then the segment won't be broken anymore. What am I doing wrong here? :(
Hi. If you are using a newer version of CLO you actually do not need to Extend and Add Point to outline now. As long as the Internal Line you have drawn reached the pattern edge. But fort more direct help it may be good to join our Official CLO Discord channel. You can then add images and our designers who moderate can offer insight

Hello. Is it normal that I cannot find any curvy saved avatar in the latest CLO3D for Feifei? I get the message "no matching Avatar". I also don't see the measurements. Please help
Hi Iva. We have several curvy sized avatar files for FeiFei. Sounds like what is happening is that there is no avatar in the file to apply the size to. First Add the default version of FeiFei to your work space. Once you have done that go ahead and go into the folders Avatar >Female_V2>Size> US_ASTM_Missy_Curvy (or whichever version you need)> Choose the .avs size file you want apply to the avatar in the 3D space by double clicking. Your avatar should now adjust to whichever size file you selected :)
