Check out my food trip episode in Pampanga where I try the ‘authentic’ Sisig na walang mayo or egg. 🤣 Let me just say, I love all kinds of Sisig!! ❤️ ruclips.net/video/yD68x4p3pgU/видео.htmlsi=nlJOzpv_EzXsP1XH
Even though sisig is not a Quezon Province delicacy, Sizzling sisig was made famous by Buddy's Pizza to Manila, from Quezon province to Manila basically.
All the sisig that you featured are best depending on who you are and what you are looking for. First one is best for students or even employees who are on a budget. Second one is best for group of friends who wants to hangout and drink beer. And the last one is best for gatherings with family or even workmates who wants a nice place with good ambiance who has more budget to spare. Love this episode.
I have a confession. The reason I watch these foodie vlogs is Anthony Bourdain. Jessica's food content is the best I have seen since AB's shows. I loved the call back to AB. The Paborito Series is my favorite series on RUclips.
@@dukester7792 I think AB would really appreciate the way she seeks out locals and what locals eat. That's what AB did a lot and while Jessica is mainly just around Metro Manilla, Bourdain was not allowed to focus on a region so thoroughly. He was here and there and everywhere. I became a fan of his during No Reservations and stayed through the end in Parts Unknown. Man was an inspiration for so many. He touched so many of us. Jessica has a smaller reach, but her impact is similar. Look how her fans react to her.
@@HeyseusKristos I’ve been a Bourdain fan way before No Reservations. I have all his books and Kitchen Confidential was what made me a die hard Bourdain fan. Followed his career from Food Network’s A Cook’s Tour, No Reservations then Parts Unknown. Bourdain is not a food snob. Its an insult to compare him to Jessica.
@@dukester7792 Thats awesome. I didn't really discover Bourdain until 2009. I of course went back in time and watched A Cooks Tour and caught up with No Reservations. I have his books including KC too. Actually, I was in a facebook group that included Zamir. It was really cool to get to talk to him. Really nice guy. Fun too. Jessica isn't a food snob, she acknowledges her likes and dislikes but she'll try almost anything. Her eating the chicken head reminded me of some AB type stuff. Topping it off, I have always been a huge Mark Lanegan fan so seeing him and Josh Homme hanging with AB sent me. Honestly, the only person acting like a snob here is you.
"Possibly the best thing you could ever eat with a cold beer." Bourdain must've done that sisig review on a super hot day, smack dab in the middle of summer.
I haven’t been home in the PH for five years so thank you for your content to remind me of my roots. I’m too white for the PH and too Asian for Canada so seeing a Korean in the PH speaking Tagalog is awesome and where you come from doesn’t dictate what you can be. Cheers, Jessica.
Jessica really loves sisig. Everywhere she goes she always get to eat sisig. I love her very honest opinion of every dish that she gets to eat. Keep going, girl! ❤
I graduated from PUP at naabutan ko pa yung 38 peso sisig nila sulit for students talaga! Lunch for my 5 years of college life LOL and I even visit the place from time to time just to eat there!
wow sisig my favorite too still believe Pampanga s sisig the best and original Pampango dish congrats for another episode sisig on metro manila you never fail yo amazed ever y one more power
authentic 😅sisig doesnt contain egg wonder in metro manila they mix egg beef sisig taste good too they ears are the best crunchy meat or beef with chicken liver now the expetiment on sisig they include mayonnaise and egg for. me ilike the authentic sisig taste
I love how Jessica describes food, much like Emmymade's detailed taste reviews. While nothing beats the real experience of tasting it, their vivid descriptions provide a virtual experience that brings the flavors to life, just as great food content should.
Now I have someone to watch while eating cause she describes the food really well and that's what I like about the content it makes me even hungrier hahaha
I love that they show 3 different categories (budget meal, middle class meal sort of and the expensive one)which is which but on my opinion why pay expensive if you can eat it delicious and cheaper...just being practical 😂❤❤❤
Watching this makes me want to come back at my Sintang Paaralan. I miss Sisig Kiosk 😭😭 Thank you for featuring them coz they deserve it. Mura na masara pa!
I enjoy Jessica's RUclips content, especially her magazine-style show that features various aspects of Filipino culture, primarily Filipino food. What I appreciate most is her ability to provide a bit of history about each food and place she features. Her simple, precise, and straightforward critiques make her reviews believable. Her detailed explanations give you a sense of the taste of what she's eating. :)
I saw her in making a blog in Malate, she's really beautiful and she said yes when i asked her to have a photo with her. She's like becoming a Filipino, very natural and doing good on her stuffs. That's the first time i did, asking for a photo to a celebrity 😂 but she's very cool while doing it 😁
I first watched your video with your sister eating in mang inasal. Since then, i starter following your channel. Now, i havent notice your subs already marked 1.4+m! Congrats Jessica. Im proud to say that i am one of your first follower.
My fave food as well. I like how she was able to convey every details of the same dish and empasizing the difference of each. And how adorably cute you are 😻😻.. Sarangeyo? I love you na lang pala 🫰🫰🫰
Watching your video here in Canada and if going to the Philippines for a vacation I should try sisig ,I was there ayear ago and missed that so fo sure next vacation I'll dig into it. Can't wait to have a nice cold beer and sisig. Love watching your videos it's a boost in morale. ❤
I've been watching your vids recently and oh boy, Jessica's vlogs never disappoint! Yesterday I watched your Paborito Series in PUP Sta Mesa and wondered if you ever went back for Kiosk Stuff Sizzling sisig, and so glad you did! I graduated from the Batch of 2019 and most of the students I know from our batch, well especially our class lol Kiosk Stuff has always been our go to sisig place in Sta Mesa, next to Chef Von. It has been kind of like an unspoken tradition or habit back then that whenever we finished class or after a midterm/final semester exam, to ask out our classmates and friends to eat here - to decompress and rant about how the exam went!😂 Now that we're alumni and working away from one another, we still go out occasionally for a quick catch up and hang out, and it will never be complete without stopping by Sta Mesa just to eat sisig there.
Speaking of sisig... One of my MOST FAVORITE and THE BEST SISIG I ever had was from JVD FOOD HOUSE, at San Joaquin St., Mandaluyong City. Sobrang sarap!!! Hindi ordinary, SPECIAL and authentic ung pagkaluto for only 50-60 pesos. SOLB NA SOLB NA! Ang last kain ko siguro dun 2019 pa, dahil during pandemic lumipat na ako ng tirahan. Namiss ko tuloy bigla sisig nila pati ung Kare-kare...
Love how you highlighted and encouraged others to try the dish. Always looking forward to your content. Never fails to inform and entertain. Keep it up Jessica ❤
oh wow sisig tour from jess, i did my own sisig tour too back in 2010 comparing the best sisig in metro bacolod, i first tried sisig with my ex back in 05 and after that i never stop craving for it in fact the first mang inasal place that jessica visited in bacolod used to be a sisig house called tsongs catering to nurses and patients since in front of the hospital, its around 50 pesos with big sizzling plate and egg, tried variety of sisig from posh resto to 24 hrs carinderia type but still that sisig place is the best for me nostalgia and just the flavor, really sisig is addicting and still one of my favourite gi to meal
My one favorite vlogger that was not literally pinoy but in heart you can feel that she really love all filipino keep it up mam jessica i love you..🥰🥰🥰
the fact you can define good rice quality is an A++ for food reviewer 💯💯💯💯... hope you can taste also our version of kimchi (buro) fermented rice with fish, shrimp..
Sisig is one of the best food you must try in the Philippines. Thank you for choosing it. Btw new subscriber here. Have a great visit here in the Philippines
Since you're really putting a lot of effort on your vlogs and we really appreciate it, I hope you have another series where you can pamper yourself by going to different massage places or spa or places where you can try their facial so we can watch and also try. It's like hitting a lot birds with one stone...hehehe just a suggestion 😅
I like how Jessica made a lil smile on the Sisig from Sarsa when she said the price we all know naman na she also considering the price of what she eats on her Paborito series. para sigurong nadala na nya yung ganon na mindset haha very Pinoy kasi din yung ganon.
Only tourist and food vloggers from Manila can afford it. It became a novelty to eat Sisig in Pampanga. Local people cant afford it and those that have money would rather eat Japanese food or Italian cuisjne or French cuisine, rather than Sisig, which is just a Pulutan for factory workers and the middle classes. Still Pampanga is the only place Sisig is worth trying.
Firstly, I always love your content, Jessica. Thank you for highlighting pinoy culture. I have a question, what are the titles of the classical songs in the background?
