happy Saturday everyone!! hope you're getting some cozy plant chore time in 🫶🌿
Thank you! ❤
Awesome video! Ask landlord to put few hooks in ceiling for you. Keep up the great work.
One of my favorite videos, trailing plants make up the majority of mine collection. Wishing Olive a speedy recovery.
Thank you Rhonda 💚
I hope Olive will get better soon. She's such a little cutie 🌸
Thank you so much ☺️
I’m sending love and prayers to Olive and you momma!! ❤🙏🦋
Thank you so much ☺️
Your trailing plants are extraordinary! 🌿♥️ poor baby Olive😕hope she heals quickly…sending good vibes her way!💕🥰I’m so glad to hear you compost your plants 🪴 I do as well and kinda felt bad-now I feel better, I’m not the only one!😄
The Brazil and trailing jade are my faves! Love your trailing collection so much. They give an indoor space that jungle feel for sure ❤
you posted at just the right time :') love having your videos on while i do my plant chores!
They all look fantastic... so jelly of your Krimson Queen! Feel better soon, Olive!!!
Thanks so much for doing this video on the trailing plants. I enjoyed seeing everyone of them. I couldn’t help but notice how big your Tortum got though. Wow. 🌱💚🌱
I hope Olive is going to be ok. Poor little girl. She’s so sweet.
An hour of fern ♥️♥️ the best Saturday afternoon
Hi great idea garment rack. Thanks for sharing. Your plants are beautiful. Yes I burnt up some plants under the lamp because I had the lamp on too long. Live and learn.
I love trailing plants 🪴 I was surprised with how many Hoya you have! Beautiful.
Thank you for the video. 🥰
I love trailing plants! You have such a gorgeous collection, so much growth! 💚
Your mention of Cebu Blue being relatively common has me cracking up--ironically, where I live it's impossible to find a simple Jade Pothos. I just want a regular ol' green one, but it's the one variety that nobody here seems to sell--it's all the "rare" varieties, and the most common has circled around to being the most impossible to find! Beautiful collection, in any case, they're all lovely to see!
I just started some marble queen cuttings on a pole! Can’t wait to see how big the leaves will get 😍 I’m so with you, they are incredibly underrated. I get they are common, but they are so chill and gorgeous.
Thank you for this video. Now I can finally put a name to my lovely ceropegia linearis
Loved this feature on your trailing plants. They’re my fav too. I like to stake some to grow upright but when they trail into a curtain of vines, ugh I love it 🥰
I totally forgot how short your Wally grow plants were in comparison to now! Like omg!! Love it! And considering the light levels, they have all grown so much!
Oh gosh! I love trailing plants as well...yoyr collection is so gorgeous❤❤
Yay! Fern video! And about trailing plants which I love so much! Happy weekend to you Fern and everybody 🤗
Happy weekend 🥰 thanks so much for watching!
I also love trailing plants. I recently got stick on clear shower shelves for my windows and it’s been amazing. I keep my smaller Hoya on them and it’s so cute seeing them start to trail. Also love your Hoya Serpens and Mathilde. They have been on my wishlist for so long and always love seeing yours!
This video is beautiful! Love every plant! Can't pick a favorite! Love your long videos! You inspired me to get rainbow window clings 🥰🌈
Hi Fern, I absolutely love trailing plants and your collection is beautiful!! Happy Earth Day to everyone!!
Awe thank you!! Happy Earth Day!
Cebu blue has been on my wishlist forever!!🤩
Trailing plants are definitely my favorite especially the Hoyas. Your collection is absolutely beautiful. Happy Earth Day 🌎
Fern!!! You're the main reason I got into houseplants! I just love your videos so much and I love how you and your plants are super down-to-earth and you show off your plants even when they're not perfect. Most of my plants aren't perfect and I love seeing that realness in a plan content creator!
Oh thank you so much for such a kind comment 🥺💖
I love show & tells! Trailing plants are a fav for me too so I loved this video. 🙏🏻🥰🌱
You've definitely stoked my hoya lu$t! Collected three in the past six months... And OMGOMGOMG you've definitely got the touch - fingers crossed my newbies will be half as gorgeous as yours in a year! 💚
I LOVE trailing plants!! I started a lot of my collection off with babies/cuttings so the "trailing" plants that I got, weren't actually trailing to start off. I've finally reached the point in my planty collecting that I have trailing plants now and I absolutely love it! The vibe they give is my planty collection goal 😍 I have and love a string of turtles as well. Mine was just from cuttings that I bought and took a while to get going...I think I've finally figured her out now though...it doesn't like to dry out very much in my experience! I'm in the lower midwest of the US and have it about two feet from a western window and it doesn't ever get direct light and it is starting to do really well (new growth and getting larger, plumper leaves)! I actually just spray it every few days with water and give it a thorough watering probably every month and it seems happy. Sending good vibes and prayers to lil miss Olive!
Your hair looks so very young r onand gorgeous ❤ you are growingy your so girlie! Loveeee sitting back and watching you do plant chores , it’s your voice - or whole vibe ugh cause it gives me all the relaxing feels ❤❤❤
Awesome video, I love that plant wall 😍. After watching your video, I found some new ones to add to my wishlist 😊
Fern! I love my string bean Hoya too!! I have her trailing off a shelf and it gives such cute vibes. Always love your content ❤️
They're so adorable 🥰 thank you for watching!
Love my Hoya shepherdii mines only a baby though!! Sending all my love to olive hope she's okay ❤❤
Love love love your long weekend videos💚💚💚🪴🐾.
Awww - I hope sweet little Olive🫒 starts to feel better soon!!
Love my trailing Hoya Shepherdii - it bloomed for the first time this year! Same with my Hoya Krohniani Silver which has been blooming non-stop with as many as 10 blooms at a time. And the fragrant smell💟💟💟.
Fern I love my sheperdii too!!! I'm so glad I'm not alone in admiring its strange beauty🥲I really love how funky it is! Thick wiry vines with slender dark waxy leaves shooting out every random way.... thats my type 😍
Will be sending love and prayers to you and Olive.. Our furbabies are just precious.. Look at how much your wally grow wall plants have grown! Have a fantastic week Fern.. Hoping it starts to warm up soon.. Still chilly here in Toronto. Love your tshirt. I just got a monkeytail cactus from CSN and I can't wait for it to be a pot of more then 1 😂. My hoya bella outer varigated has grown more then any other of my hoyas and its been blooming like crazy since January. 👏💚🐶🌿
I love your plant wall. I really love all of your trailing plants. I added several of the Hoyas to my want list.
Perfect timing, I just got a wally grow pocket I need to fill :)
Variegated Hoya heuschkeliana is def a favorite. I got a small rooted cutting from someone locally and within 6 months it put out a peduncle and bloomed! It has since put out multiple blooms and I can honestly say I have no words of wisdom for it. It sits under a cheap Amazon grow light for like 8 hours a day, no where near a window. I was shocked such a small Hoya would bloom. The blooms are very cute though and smell very buttery, like butterscotch!
Hope Olive feels better soon, poor little darling! Love your Hoyas, I'm envious🥰
I've been inspired to buy big lush trailing plants and not wait for my little ones to grow. I want a plant wall like yours
Hey Fern!! 💕 I have a string bean Hoya & it’s one of my favorites!! I have it on top of my IKEA cabinets trailing down the side, it’s sooo cute!!
All your trailing plants are beautiful!!
I love this video and all the hoyas 😍 you made me fall in love with this species 💚
you bed frame is awesome.....what a wonderful thing to fall asleep to....and wake up to!
the hoya krohniana super sliver would look great in the sun pot 🌞💚💕
Trailing plants are my favourites just love the look you have some great ones. I am quite new to indoor plants but already getting a good collection but Hoya Linearis is on my wish list.
I absolutely adore trailing plants! Someday i hope mine look as beautiful as yours 😍
Thank you for sharing your collection with us.
I hope Olive gets better really soon 💕 Shes so cute 🥰 much love to both of you my friend. 😊
Thank you so much for the well wishes to Olive! 💖 She's doing really well.
Love trailing plants I have a Hoya Shepherd with is nice my favorites are my rhipsalis they look so cool trailing.
Really great video! Love your plant progress! Good job. Thanxs
Hi Fern, I bought a xerosicyos danguyi after seeing it in your channel. I love it! Mine shot up a huge amount of new growth this spring. It’s standing straight up (without a trellis) so eventually i suppose it will tumble over the side of the pot. Easy care, south facing window, like you say, care like a Hoya. I’ll have to look out for a Hoya shepherdii as I agree I like the long string bean look of the leaves. Thanks for the trailing plants video!
Man, it makes my day to see a Fern notification!! 🥰😍
Enjoyyyyy 😇
Hoping Olive feels better soon. I have both my green and outer variegated bella in pon and they are growing like weeds. Herch I also have in pon in a self watering pot and mine has bloomed 😊. Smells so good. Love all your trailing Hoyas.
I just got a hoya linearis in the mail today and I am in love! He is tiny so I am very excited to get him bigger and filled out :)
You are really a plants lover.great ideas.your all plants are super and very healthy
I'd give anything for a start of your krimson queen. It's literally my favorite plant in the world
Oh wow I loved this video so much 😍 so in love with all your trailing plants
Thank you for this gorgeous tour
thank you Jen 🥰🥰
Trailing plants are my favs
I love your collection
I have a Hoya Sherperdii & love it. I’ve had it for 3 years & im hoping it will bloom! I love yours.
watched/listened to this while treating my aroids for thrips :') Great video Fern, as always!
I adore your plants! And what a beautiful hoya collection! What a great video! Get well soon, sweet Olive, kisses XX (and don´t worry about over- or underwatering....we all are experiencing it :) )
That Krimson Queen!!!! 😮gorgeous
You have wonderful and healthy plants☺️
After purchasing my carnosa compacta last spring I noticed that Crystal star nursery was selling the “dark form” in the summer. I picked one up and honestly side by side I cannot tell the difference (but both are extremely slow growers for me). I think I’ll pot them up together here eventually like I did with my variegated Bella’s who are on the struggle bus! 😂💚 Great video, I’m def team trailing as well
I also bought the dark form from CSN and in the year its been here its grown 1 new segment.. I often check the roots to see if its still alive ..
@@PetraEmmy maybe they slept for the first year, and now this year we’ll see them take off (lol wishful thinking)
My shepherdii is starting to bloom now. Just got it recently and I love it!!!
All so beautiful!
💚🌵🌱☘️💚
I have the same love for Hoyas. I watched a video years ago and they say for them to flower, they need to get morning sun light, east window, for at least 4 to 6 hours. 💚
sending a lots of love for Olive! Huge fan of trailing plants here too btw :)
I have a shepherdii that has so many peduncles I can’t wait to see the blooms
It’s tendrils are so wild too 😂 they shoot across all my plants and love to wrap around lamps
YESSSSSS I love trailing plants! 🪴❤️🪴
They are such a vibe 🤌
Than you for this video. I really learn a lot from you. Keep up the great work in posting! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I love the Cebu Blue Pothos. I currently on a hunt for them around my area and they seem to be all out. Too bad you are not in my area 😢
I just got a Hoya Shepherdii and I love the weird and wily way it trails. My youngest son is named Shepherd which makes it special to me 💙
Love my trailing plants also! Yours look so amazing!
Hello sunshine 😊. You have a beautiful collection. Thank you for sharing 💚💚🪴🌿
Thank you so much for watching :)
I also have a sheperdii and it’s one of my favorites!
I used to have a Lipstick vine that had deep burgundy "tubes", so dark and beautiful. The inner "lipstick" was bright cherry red. It grew like crazy and was a very profuse bloomer even though it wasn't in the best of light. I wish I remembered the name of it because I sure would love to have another.
I have one of those and the tag says Mona Lisa. So pretty.
@@kellywood7186 I found it!! Thank you so much!
@@MaryGatdula No problem. Glad I could help out 😊
I LOVE your micans so much. I got one for $4.99 in March- it has like 6 vines in it and isn't trailing but it has been pushing out new growth consistently since I got it, I can't wait til it's long enough to chop and prop for a nice thick pot!!
Wahhh that is such a good deal! 🙌
@@wildfern right! HEB (Texas grocery store) has awesome prices. I've gotten a $12 Monstera deliciosa, $5 micans and scindapsus pictus, and most recently a $12 Alocasia Black Stem that I'm OBSESSED with. It put out a massive leaf and has a cute 3-leaved baby too
I have a gorgeous shepherdii and a big lush linearis too!! I love your vids your so cute!! ❤
I have a shepherding. It’s just a cutting out of a mystery box I got a month ago. I can’t wait to plant.
I loved this . Such a beautiful collection
Thank you so much :)
Hello first your trailing plants are gorgeous!! and this year I got my first scindapsus Pictus silvery Ann and he is sooooo beautiful I am in love😊😊
You’re amazing & I love your videos ❤
Just laid down in bed with a coffee and not feeling well at all, coming down with something. Also having a really rough time in general right now and this notification popping up just made my day, Fern 🤍 you're the best!
oh feel better 🥺 make sure you get lots of rest today! thank you for watching 💚
Yay nice little vid for my night shift break 😊
Ahh night shift! Hope it’s going well 🖤
Funnily enough I didn't know I had one (I thought it was something else) until I saw one of your other videos! Mines growing gang busters as well!
Love all the hanging plants! 🪴 Your heuschkeliana variegata is 🫠. You may try taking your string of 🐢 out of your cabinet. It should do better in drier air since it’s so succulent! And give lots of light! ☀️
The Jade Satin is a dream! I just recently learned that it exists, and I WANT it! Another one that I've been wanting for a long time, and stand a better chance of getting is xerosicyos danguyi.
I love the 34:55!! I have a tiny one that I just got about a month ago from an Etsy seller. I saw yours in another video and HAD to have it! I also love your 39:37. Now I have to have that one!!! That color green is stunning. I have an exotica and it’s doing amazing. The leaves are huge. But I am going to have to get the Jade for sure.
Trailing plants are my favourites ! Some beauties there Fern ?! 😍🌿🇬🇧
Thank you!! Love them so much :)
Thank you for this wonderful plant tour I love love the Hoyas I have the hoya shepherdii and the blooms are really strong at night all Hoyas I love love and I am looking for the lineris for my collection❤
I've had a shepherdii since early 2020. I thought I killed it 2yrs ago. Only had 1 vine with 3 leaves. Last fall it finally started sprouting more leaves. It's much fuller and adorable now! It's never bloomed for me yet though! I want the paradoxa😍
Ahh that's awesome, 2020 was when I got mine too :)
Your serpens is too cute for this world 😱😱💚
Im gonna recommend a string of tears for your pot! It’s so easy and so dainty compared to string of pearls. So pretty. They’d love hanging on that cute sun pot. I like my SOP too but the tears have my ❤️ I think you’d like them cause we have very similar tastes in plants. Which is why I love your vids! Hugs to Olive, hope she feels better soon.
oh they are cute 🥺 I'm going to keep my eye out for one!
Honestly… they’re a succulent I could probably mail you some lol. Mine is growing like a weed. And I’m in NL.
I loved this video!!! I've been watching for years, but I'm just gonna say it though, please please please, propagate your strings of things with the butterfly method. It's so so easy to get lush CARPETS of them, to create a full plant of your dreams. Just a hot tip. 🔥 I've been doing it for years. As long as you have experience with sphagnum, you can do the butterfly method!! I want your struggles to end girl! Please 😅
Thanks so much really appreciate this video now need some hoyas in my life 😂😂😂😂
That Jade is crazy !!!
I never have enjoyed cleaning my bathroom as much as I did watching this video. I thoroughly enjoyed it, Fern. Thank you, wonderful lady 😊 and oh, your trailing plants are absolute goals. I’m looking forward to the time that my Hoya linearis looks as cool and sexy as yours 🤩😁
You are so adorable, I really enjoy your content.
Any Hoya is my favorite. I’ve decided to concentrate on only Hoyas. I love them so much.
A friend and I currently work/run a garden center locally. Everyone points out how perfect her name is for her job choice, probably a few times a day lol. Her name is azalea and tbh I have to agree. Your name happens to be fern and I love it
