It’s lame, but l love watching the out runners spin while driving. Doesn’t matter the rig..just do😂…I wonder when injora will put the esc out by itself. As of this moment, the fat viper wasn’t in a kit, you can just buy the motor, transmission combo. Great video!
Great news on the new PURPLE motors! Thank you , Adam, for all you do to add to the hobby. :-) Loved the Father/Son camping video and for sending the call for men to be fathers! For those of us who have never made the switch to brushless, could you do a video showing what we would need for the whole package by way of radio, motor, ESC, BEC, ETC. (ha-ha) to make a conversion? What brands/combinations have been good for you? And does Injora offer all the components necessary for a first time brushless user? I really love their stuff and they are going to rock the market with their new purple motors.
Someone showing these kits really should show the entire process of programming and how to download the files from the website and how to open it after because the competition uses Bluetooth and apps on the phone. This junks too hard without step-by-step directions I’m not good with pc’s after reading some comments on the injora programming video it’s obvious I’m not the only one someone with one of these mini RC platforms should make a video solely about programming this thing bet it will blow up
Love the build! I bought the complete kit (motor, esc, 370 transmission). Hope the pinion fits without clicking on the combo. Did you notice any structural integrity issues cutting the crossbeam on the tarantula? Love your videos and I have learned a lot from them. Thanks!
love your channel, keep it up. love all the builds and the detail you go in to, and that you get your kid involved. I always had more fun building, than using them most of the time. now after an accident i cant work and cant afford to do the rc thing. its also kinda hard to get out and get around, messed my leg up good. but i love seeing all of the new stuff you show and how creative you are . thanks for your hard work and the entertainment.
that looks awesome. i hope they do one for scx24, ive just started a deadbolt build ive used so much information from your snaggletooth build. so thanks man great video👍🏻
Hey, can you please order some Hard Park axles and do a review? So few reviews on YT, i think only one or two. They seem to be among the best, and it's from a small company that has really moved the gauge of innovation for micros. I ordered a set, and will be putting on the new Torq servo, some Nexx adjustable oil shocks, Hard Park links (gladiator length, hopefully they fit), new Mazz XL chassis, and a Furitek system (not sure which), and a WTMicro body. Should be amazing, but i wish there were more videos on the Hard Park axles. Thank you!
They're nice and I'm glad a managed to snag a set when they launched, but it's unfortunate that the pins like to work loose in the ujoint. My other complaint is that they bite rocks since they're aluminum and wide. But you're going to get that with any axle that isn't plastic or nylon. Hopefully 3flow9 comes out with some skids for them. Also, I'm running the Injora XHX pins on 1.8s and I've been less than impressed. I think they might not have enough grip to counteract the pumpkin hanging up. Hopefully cutting alternating rows improves them...when I get around to it. Otherwise, the clockable hubs is something I've been waiting a long time for this scale. Combined with the steering angle, I can really lay that tire over and find traction where I wouldn't have been able to before.
@@DasE30Cuz yeah, those U-joint pins is a little worrisome. Hopefully they listened and fixed them. I hear that locktite works. I don't do aluminum for performance for the same reason you mentioned, and mostly wanted these because they seem to perform well otherwise, have the clockable hubs, and look so damn cool. Probably see about offset wheels to bring them in a bit. I haven't looked too drop into pin tires, never had them, but i want some for comps.
Great video. I have always use 2s battery on my RC. Can I damage the rest of the electric components if I start using a 3s battery? Like the steering servo, lights, winch.
Got a question for you. What is cogging? I installed mine today and noticed the motor when it gets into a tight hard torque stituation the motor is spinning but the driveshafts aren't The shafts have screws mounted through them. Do I need to take the trans a part again and move the motor gear out towards the gears or the opposite direction? I'm new into this world of addiction. Love your videos, they have helped immensly.
Hey mate did you sort the cogging? Moved to 3S but still there and it’s pretty annoying when trying to slow crawl. Talking with Injora about it currently.
Great video brotha! My plan is take this motor mount it to a Komodo mount being the same 2204 style. Bigkidtinytruck esc. It'll be a beast I think. Personally I just think injora made that esc way to big
Was really hoping this would be compatible with the meus 2 speed transmission, but it looks like the two speed is almost redundant with these new motors
Man, I unboxed you on Facebook. I can’t get my truck to turn the motor but the steering works. Same setup as you. Let me know if you can help please, or anyone at that.
Great vid. I was installing my fat viper on my 370 transmission, which i bought as a combo last week, the gears would bind when i shut the 2 pieces together. I thought i was nuts, but after removing the pinion, freely turns, add the pinion back on, it gets stuck. Not sure how else to fix this. Found your vid and heard you had similar issues. Advise?
Did you ever get the cogging sorted? I just bought the same setup and mine is doing it. Reports all over the internet of the same 15% throttle hitching. Tried multiple settings on the esc, increased PWM etc no better. Injora is sending another motor, but otherwise couldn't figure it out.
Very curious if that fat viper would somehow be able to get it to mount to the Furitek stellar transmission, I have a Furitek scythe build with the Komodo motor and stellar transmission combo but I have a purple theme going on. That fat viper would be a perfect replacement both aesthetic and performance wise
I currently got this installed into my TRX4M Bronco. Is there any way I can get my Traxxas Pro Scale Light Kit to work with this, least with Injora's ESC?? Been trying to figure out a way to make it work, currently hasn't worked for me....yet, still figuring out how to make the Pro Scale lights, work. 🤔
I am building a ECX Temper 2 Gen II and will have sx10 links, axles and carbon fiber wheels with light 140mm tires. The Temper has a 370 sized motor now. Would this Fat motor handle it or do I need something bigger in your opinion?
what are the best settings for the fat viper and the mbl32 esc i have some issues getting 15% trottle and it would studder. i dont understand alot of the settings and it is great but theres times it studders and also reverse is like 75% and forward is 40%
I think my pinion gear is still interfering with the transmission gears. It’s a really long pinion (pre-production). I backed it out some with spacers but have some more room to go I think
I remember seeing a video like 8 months ago about a new Injora 1/10 ESC. I've yet to see anything else about it. Did they give up on it or something? Lol
just put in my purple viper last night and already considering this one since my purple viper hitches and cogs. but now im hesitant to get burned on another injora brushless motor. i ordered a 3s battery to see if itll fix my issues with the purple viper but im not holding my breath.
order it anyways i went on amazon this motor is 18 BUCKS less than 20 bucks for the thing got cvharged .18 cents shipping i dont understand how its this cheap for brushless but i aint asking no questions ill test it for 18 bucks
@petejones6827 it would be $44 for me since I don't already have the 370 transmission. Still an amazing deal for a brushless motor with transmission. But it's cost doesn't matter if it doesn't work like it should, it's wasted money.
It's all about that the magnet size and strength is worth work comes from and you can have a big KV motor and produce great low-end torque mofo bam 4100 is my favorite it will break stuff before it stops moving everybody used to be against it until they started seeing the videos and they're like holy hell so that's what I would like to know how does it feel when you rotate it how strong are the magnets I can't remember all the names but John Holmes Holmes hobby is a great person to listen to when it comes to motor Street and tour and all that their stuff
@@CapeCrawlers I think I have that same cogging which is a bit of a bummer since it's right around that speed you want to be climbing a lot of times. ruclips.net/video/_j_Kq8N49RA/видео.htmlsi=FcxJTeSA0cReWj4x I picked up the 2000kv fat viper so it says RPM/volt: 2060kv, 14 poles, 7 sine. Did Injora give you any tips on how to work that out maybe in the ESC?
@@ToddBurke42 @CapeCrawlers I have this exact issue. Injora recommended lowering running brake strength, disabling auto stop and increasing the PWM frequency. None worked. They're sending me another motor. Did you get anything to work? Concerned it's just a bad design and I'll need to replace the whole motor/trans/esc with something else.
@@RUclipsCcar Could the transmission cause enough drag? Mine still doing the same thing with a new motor (went from the 2000 to 2400kv with no difference). Lost a set screw on the pinion gear and as I was putting it back together, it seems like it quite a bit harder to turn the motor after putting the transmission cover back on. I don't really see a way to adjust the tranny to make that smoother but I'm starting to wonder if that is part of my issue.
My personal opinion I didn't see very good success at all out of those swamp claws matter of fact I think they're kind of going backwards I think they should go back to their original compound and S4 S3 I grabbed the old Senator tires that I had to crawler all terrain and they're kind of like the hyrax but they're like in the S3 compound I think they're almost as good as J Concepts tusks

You hopefully but as far as I can see they ain't bothered with those brands
just installed the fat viper in my scx24 inside a mb24 chassis an body , it fits pretty well and 3s is definitly its sweet spot.
Thanks for mentioning that. I was wondering about fitting in the MB24.

You make me want to start upgrading my TRX4m! I’m just not a crawler guy so I have no idea where to start.
Crawler Gear, Bearings instead bushings, Injora Shocks, Bress for lowing the cg
Update they do have a trans mount that bolts to stock trans with metal spur and pinion gear

Could I run the fat viper with a furitek python pro esc ?
Cool build with cool motor, it's tempting me to put that in my ascent 18. BTW ,your gear mesh sounds a bit too tight.
Will the original brushless motor that comes with the injora kit fit in the stock trx4m transmission
Yes the purple viper has a motor mount that allows it to fit the stock transmission

doest it work with stock remote?

I think my pinion gear is still interfering with the transmission gears. It’s a really long pinion (pre-production). I backed it out some with spacers but have some more room to go I think
Would you be so kind as to let me know that the mounting hole spacing is.
Should be 17mm, same as 370 brushed motors.
What trans you got in that, Is it just the aluminum injora trans that comes with injora 180 motor attached?
It’s the gearbox that comes with the Injora 370 motor kit
Flight to see a compared to the original Komodo it looks just like it
Will it fit scx24
So just to confirm the Fat Vipers DO NOT come with the ESC? just trying to confirm because it doesn't look like they do on there website.
Correct, motor or motor and transmission only
put the purple viper in the new trx4m two speed f100
I'm building a trx4m to be a trailer puller witch motor would you recommend between the fat viper or purple viper
I remember seeing a video like 8 months ago about a new Injora 1/10 ESC. I've yet to see anything else about it. Did they give up on it or something? Lol
I haven't heard anything from them about it. Maybe they're using the smaller scale as a test case before jumping into larger scales
What's the deal with the clicking? Can you reach out to Injora to see when they gonna sell fat viper combo or esc seperate?
I'm still getting some friction in the transmission. I need to back that motor off some more or get a shorter pinion gear.

I don’t think so, there isn’t a mounting system available that I am aware of
which injora motor will fit better in an injora scx24 nylon capra cage
I need that combo very nice
I want to try the fat viper on the meus 2 speed trans! Think it will fit?
no
Is there another way to program the motor besides a computer. I don't have a operable computer. I do have a tablet.

In the rear of the cage
Hey is the 2000 more torque vs than the 2400?
The 2400 should have more. Its a small difference and probably not really noticeable while driving
