I'm really big into the punk scene, but there is no way I would wear a nose chain tbh. One of my friends had me try it before and it was just really uncomfortable for me.
The nose chain was pretty rare. This looks more like an 80's Alt Girl who listened to the Cure. 70's punk was more Wendy O. Williams (Plasmatics) and Becky Bondage. And yes...I was an 80's punk who grew up idolizing the punks because the Ramones were on Sha-na-na and Alice Cooper was on the Muppets.

The best punk hair I've seen used to be on a lass in a shoe shop in Sydney CBD in about 1979-80. A touch longer than a buzz cut and dyed in checker board patterns - usually green and purple, red and black, blue and orange.
Great video! Something that you seem to intuit, but don't mention, is that a theme of harsh lines and angles carries through the face and tends to be reflected in accessories. This carried into other subcultures and styles arising in the early '80s. As you say, the look was intended to shock, and so there was very little softness or blending involved in any sense.

Angie R this is pretty much a deathrock (dinah canceresc) look if you ignore the lackluster eye makeup. This butchered punk more than anything.

I would love to see a 50s poodle skirt/jukebox/diner kind of look, as the younger people would have! Beautiful look as always!
Love this. I wouldn't wear it everyday but i'd definetely wear a variation/less dramatic similar look. Cool.
This is how I look on a daily basis hahaha, nicely done!
Elizabeth Taylor, 50s-60ish would be awesome!! Love this series Zabrina!
I would love to see late 80's early 90's preppy. The look BEFORE grunge landed. These are awesome!

SIOUXSIE!!!!
it's her look
I'd love to see Elizabethan!! Your pale skin and red hair would go perfectly with the style :) You look amazing in every style so far, so you'll look great in this style!
How about the future? You could do 50-year intervals showing how the environment or technologies or current affairs could change fashions! 🚀
Wow...takes me back to when my kid brother used to listen to the Sex Pistols....he never dressed punk, but he liked the music a lot. Our mom was so glad when he started listening to other bands...;).
This is fantastic! You looked like you were having a blast! This series is absolutely one of my favorites, hands down. The eye makeup reminded me of the egyptian look you did. Were these looks inspired by that back then? Its just interesting to think how "trends" make circles and somehow come back in one way or another at some point. :)
ooo,you did an amazing job!!!
I would love to see 2000's makeup look!
