Thank you for your question. I am not certain exactly what you are asking. If you go to 9:45 on the video, I am reassembling the light. The bracket goes on first tightening the two screws. Then, my light fixture had two slots that went over two L shaped metal pieces that protruded down from the bracket. A small turn and they held. Some lights do not have such an easy way to mount and hitting the two screws with the key shaped slots on the ceiling light fixture can be awfully difficult. Only option there is to extend the screws as far as possible and trial and error which is hard on your ceiling. Luckily this brand of light was easier. Best of luck to you. Jerry
I remember thr old days when you just took the cover off and just unscrewed the old bulb and screwed in the new one. Woke logic = LED + wasting the whole fixture. But but,… the Polar Bears!!!!! 🙄
Hi Jerry
This is the exact light that I need to replace.
I can't find it at Home Depot or Amazon.
Do you have a part number?
Amazon Sea Gull Lighting Generation Lighting 14540S-15 Transitional Recessed from Seagull-Traverse LED Lyte Collection in White Finish
Thank you Jerry
Thanks Jerry
How do you line up the brackets and the holes? I’ve s puffed up the ceiling trying to line up and still can’t get it right.

Hi Jerry, can I replace this generation light with any recessed lights?
@@jayantgupta5646 I’m no expert. I would think any LED recessed light would work.
@@JerrysRetirementWisdom65 thank you for the quick response 🙏
Hey Jerry,
Can you show me how to change just a regular light bulb?
Sure. Thanks
