Welp
Einstein said he believed in "Spinoza's God", who reveals himself in the world's lawful harmony.
Here are some of Einstein's other views on religion:
He didn't believe in a personal God who was concerned with human actions and fates.
He thought that there was a "lawgiver" who set the laws of the universe.
He didn't believe in life after death.
He was involved with several humanist groups.
He rejected the idea that science and religion were in conflict.
He believed that cosmic religion was necessary for science.
He criticized "fanatical atheists".
He occasionally made passing references to the Buddha.

I like what you said brother Paul . You were on point .
Evolution is explaining how life evolved , not how the first cell began.
Excellent
Thank God we're discussing real topics that get you to think about God and His creation and not another video about people's animosity towards each other
My understanding is that Einstein was vaguely deist.
He believed in God and was against Israel. Fact 🔴
An Algerian Muslim intellectual and philosopher named, Malek Bennabi came up with the term "Prometheus Complex" to describe Renaissance era European intellectuals ʳᵉʲᵉᶜᵗⁱⁿᵍ organized religion but sticking to the belief in GOD, i.e Deism. I wouldn't be surprised if Einstein was actually a Deist.
Einstein was deist same as Charles Darwin.
@@jostnamane3951How did you write that “rejecting” word in that unique font?
About the Einstein thing; No one knows what’s in another’s heart.
I read once that Albert Einstein was not atheist. He never denied his religion or believe in GOD. He was a scientist so he had to do scientific struggle to understand the phenomena. Islam also doesn't stop you from doing scientific research. Does it? It is the matter of understanding.

There is a story of a man who was born congenitally blind who took DMT while his friend tripsit him.
After he reached the breakthrough threshold he fell on his knees and couldn’t stop tearing up, mumbling “beautiful so beautiful”
His eyes were wide open, when his eyes are usually shut all day.
After the experience was over, he told his friend: “is this what seeing is like?”
He couldn’t answer that…
I’m not advocating for drug usage, I’m just highlighting a point many of us thought about; whether congenitally blind people can see the psychedelic realm during breakthrough experiences or not.
paul if u read this, i beg you to interview Dr. Javad hashmi. Hes a really interesting figure in the islamic world
I am sill waiting the debate with dave ferina
And I with Sheikh Omar Baloch
LOL. But Dave never adds anything new or thought provoking to a debate, hence a debate with PTFE Dave would only be good for each 'side' to further try and feel superior to the other side.
@@amrhani3853 He's indeed excelled in his scientific journalism of explaining scientific facts and "theories" to the general population in a manner that would make it easier to understand, but he tries to pursue what he has no knowledge of. Like in his lecture about psychology (part of the series: Social sciences), he tries to draw conclusions about why people pursue religion, which he considers to be merely a "coping mechanism", but that example can be applied to all mental frameworks. There are people who became secular after religious abuse or because of their inclinations, making secular ideas a coping mechanism for them. What does that tell us about the true or falsity of the claims made these ideologies? Nothing. So why is he jumping to conclusions about something that he's clearly unfamiliar with? There's a reason why the Qur'an tells us to not pursue what we have no knowledge of.
@@jostnamane3951Dave doesn't seem very academic to be honest, he seems to bring on a lot of his personal "beliefs" into the sciences

To say our consciousness is independent of our physical brain is very problematic since it's possible to alter consciousness by altering parts of the brain. If anything at all consciousness is most likely a product of our physical brain. There may be other unexplainable contradictions like the near death experiences you pointed out. But say we didn't know why water doesn't pour out into space or why we don't fall of on a round earth, it wouldn't mean the earth is flat.
Einstein believes in Spinoza's concept of GOD. Believes in ALLAH's Khuluqiyyah (creating the universe) but not in ALLAH's Rububiyyah ("personal" GOD & guiding people).
What does Rububiya mean exactly?
@@TheRockeyAllenthe concept of Lordship of Allah

What is your definition of "material"?

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
و عليكم السلام و رحمة الله و بركاتة
This discussion is so amazing but sadly we have two groups of people who can be extremist.
One thexreligious people who deny science and say God did it, in the other corner are scientists blinded by material reduction.
Sir Isaac Newton was a theist, and somehow Richard Dawkins says well if he were alive today he wouldn't be,a pretty bold statement from a man who closes his mind to things that can't be explained.
Regarding NDEs it has been said this is an hallucination, but that can't explain things the dead person saw and heard that isxbacked up by proffesional medical people.
Sadly some like Stephen Meyer make the assumption that we can prove God and therefore the bible is true, I think that is dangerous.
This universe is more bizzare than any scientist or theist can possibly imagine.
What is God?! The bible says the man is made in Gods image, I think there is a kernel of truth in this regardless of God or Allah, I believe that our consciousness is rational, powerful, we know right from wrong, we have free will and create or destroy, .
A clue to God can be what man can do, beauty art etc.
Last year I visited the Hasan 2 Mosque in Casablanca, I was awestruck by it, perhaps seeing the hand of God in the hand of man.
All praise to Allah, creator of the world's, that is the physical universe and the unseen .
>>>>One thexreligious people who deny science and say God did it,
=======================
Muslims see science as a way to understand and appreciate God's works.
@@letmetalk2240 please note I didn't mean all religious people, but some.
There are people who simply believe all stories are to be taken literally
No person "denies science" - Please provide names of people who "deny science". I think you're talking nonsense.
You get quite a lot of people denying the spin/abuse/certain interpretation of science. I hope you begin to appreciate the difference.
@kychemclass5850 you can think I'm talking nonsense, but then again people who understand things are often spoken of as talking nonsense by those who don't.
Perhaps another way of looking at it are those who put there non scientific spin on things.
How many people believe in Noah's Ark or the earth is 6000 years old, are you telling me they don't deny science.
It's absurd to think a flood covered the whole world and every single species was on the ark.
No doubt Kanaroos would have made it there.
Of course there are people who deny science.
@@Steven_Rowe The first group of people that you just mentioned are clearly dishonest in their approach and even they themselves deep down know it. The Qur'an tells us to "not pursue what we have no knowledge of" [Qur'an 17:36] for a reason. Because would that make any difference if every human were to project their preconceived notions about something they are clearly unfamiliar with or have zero/limited knowledge of? Of course not. That verse applies to all kinds of knowledge. The thing is, everyone is predetermined to judge each other based on their schema (A.K.A mental constitution) that is developed eventually by factors like your tribal identity, sect, level of understanding, your personal inclinations (free will). But every Bashar (human being) deep down believes in GOD/unseen regardless of these societal factors.

Aliens or Evolution?
MORE NONSENSE???
Plz say that to Dawkins!
Einstein said, he believed in the god of Baruch Spinoza who was a famous Portuguese Jew?
Humans are essentially of extraterrestrial origins.
Nah
Scientists believe humans are from ape ancestry.
I am just drawing a parable. We now ask ChatGPT to carry out our “will”. Well, God just had to “Kun fa ya Kun” and the building blocks of His creation in the form of energies and particles within the framework of physical laws set, carries out the task in the most efficient manner. We admire artificial intelligence but what we see around us is the Supreme Intelligence.
Alien..bcs our ancestor ( adam and hava)come from outer space, which is from heaven..
Who cares what Einstein thought! That's entirely his business.! Anyone who claims to know, is wrong and wasting time.

Allah created Adam from clay and mud

Evolution and Gravity are real🦣🦓🦒🐼.... You will find the greatness of God in them.
There is nothing to disprove with evolution it is just common sense really.
If we look at dog breeding, the fact that we can get from a wolf to something like a pug by means of artificial sexual selection, imagine what changes can occur in a pure natural setting with things like natural and sexual selection even working of mutations with tens of millions of years into the mix
The similarities in creation are indicating to these creatures having the same creator rather than evolution. Creatures evolving is more likely what the initial DNA is programmed to do within millions of years rather than evolution being the only possible explanation behind our existence. I assume you're not convinced and that you'll never, since you already called a scientific theory common sense because you're possibly tempted of its credibility as much as pagans are tempted to worship idols. You should know that believing in evolution or not has nothing to do with believing in God, and every argument of evolution you'd give, I will easily debunk and not just that, I can show how it's rationally hard to believe evolution being a thing that led to our existence biologically in both the microscopic and macroscopic levels, but creatures can still evolve slightly over long periods of time I never disagreed. I myself never rejected evolution because of my religion or anything but its irrationality as I've stated above.
@@i_youcefYour claim is not falsifiable and does not really make sense. Why did God create the similarities and differences in nested hierarchies?
@@beste7187 Indeed my counterarguments are not falsifiable and I wish you could clarify more how it doesn't make sense cuz I believe I've your answers. The answer to your question: To deceive hypocrites and arrogant individuals lacking knowledge, making them believe that evolution alone explains our existence and that God does not exist. Yet, to guide those who think critically and seek knowledge beyond conventional boundaries, out of His grace. Also all this is a part of his incomprehensible plan that goes exactly according to his wisdom and will. Usually such a questions are invalid to ask because God deeds are unquestionable.
The theory of evolution is not a scientific proven fact, that's why it is called a theory.
Many scientist after observing order in creation came to the conclusion that it is a work of an intelligent designer.
As far as mutation is concerned, God has created every creature with an ability to adapt according to the surrounding environment.
How is it that in this day and age we still have people who don't know what a theory means in science? 😂@@arnoldjackson-q2j

To clear up the confusion about Einstein’s belief. Einstein was definitely an atheist with respect to a Personal God like Allah or the God of the Bible or the Torah. A Personal God is one which is concerned with, and instructs, the behaviour and beliefs of one species amongst millions, on one planet amongst trillions. A Personal God is obsessed with humans, and demands both belief and constant worship from them … he seems curiously affronted by any scepticism or by any lack of grovelling praise and worship.
So much so that he threatens eternal punishment in some giant blaze to those humans that transgress.
Einstein described the idea of a Personal God as childish. And he was right.
To the question of a God as some sort “creative force” he was of course open minded.
That's a very cynical way of putting it. You're trying so hard to force Einstein into your new age jingoist definition of God by misrepresenting his weltanschauung, and using your weltanschauung to interpret Einstein's beliefs as if you're a prophet interpreting a scripture by the grace of GOD. GOD doesn't need our worship or belief in him. It's only encouraged for us to have a diligent outlook on life. GOD in the Qur'an clearly says that he doesn't approve disbelief for his servants, because it's our loss anyway. Not because God needs it.
You are trying to imply intellectualism by using terms like Weltanschauung. No cigar.
The God of the Quran is aggressive, intolerant, endlessly repetitive, boastful, and needy. He craves our belief and worship.
These are human qualities indeed .. which makes sense as humans invented him.
@@g1j2k3 It's you who tried to make a claim about GOD in the Qur'an with your non-diligent understanding of the topic. And when refuted with clear proofs from that same Qur'an, now you are just repeating the same old claim as if nothing happened and you're in an empty void talking to yourself.
Refuted with clear proofs from the Quran ?
I see none … your delusion is affecting your logic.
@@g1j2k3 At this point, either you are short sighted or you are just arguing for the sake of arguing. You made a claim about what GOD in the Qur'an demands for us to do, and the fact that you just said "I see no refutation" shows that you were clueless about what GOD in the Qur'an says for the believers to do. Your nafs and your qareen companions are both affecting your logic and understanding. The fact that you cannot think beyond your preconceived notions about what we believe, even when we show clear refutation of your false assumptions about our beliefs, shows that.
Quite ridiculous to listen to two amateurs telling all the biologists they're wrong. 😂🥲
