Maurice Bishop was and remains one of the greatest leaders of the Caribbean and a true Hero. I first visited Grenada in 1981 with a group of Barbadian artiste.... poets, dancers, drummers and visual artists. My one regret at that time is that we did not get the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Maurice Bishop but we toured the island and was able to observe the revolutionary changes and innovations that were taking place.
