Plus he put what looked like shredded iceberg lettuce in the wok, that had to have been slimy mush by time it hit the plate. They could've at least used romaine, or even better shredded cabbage. But we all have different taste, so who am I say it isn't appetizing?

I did visit Auntie Liz restaurant. Last time I was in London, I visited Borough Market south of River Thames and found Mei Mei. The Hainanese Chicken rice was fantastic. I got to visit the Hawker Stands in Singapore shortly after that. Nigel and Liz, thank you for all your recommendations.

I thought American's liked mayonnaise and sugar until to went to Japan. We dont even hold a candle to that level of dedication.😂 They have entire mayo cafes, and nearly every dish has a sprinkle of sugar in it! I never would have dreamed of putting sugar in an egg salad sandwich before.
To be fair, Japanese Mayo is a whole other level in mayo flavor that folks on the western hemisphere don't even know about.
