After eating just 4 raw and my husband eating 2 raw, we had to go to the ER. Twas not a fun night. Always make sure those bloody things are thoroughly cooked to ensure they are safe for consumption! Otherwise, brace yourself for a fun night at the emergency room 😀

Did you at least try one to see what it tastes like, or did you not eat it because of irrational fear? Sardines and anchovies are common in many "White people's" culture, including Greece, Italy, Spain and France. I often do an Italian style sauteed sardines and capers in spaghetti dish.

I'm excited because we have candle nuts growing all over our backyard in SC and I have access to everything else! I'm gonna try it out :) btw, if you eat candle nuts raw, they can make you very very sick. Learned that the hard way after poisoning my husband and I... I thought they were macadamia nuts. Nope. The hospital bill was insane and I began cooking them after that nasty lesson lol
@@lunaballuna put coconut milk, ginger in your rice with a pandan leaves(ignore if you don't have) as well if you're going to make nasi lemak(that's what 'lemak' is for, the fat from coconut milk) and a pinch of salt. If you don't have palm sugar, can substitute it with regular sugar. Taste as you cook to adjust to your preference.

Banana leaves do grow in England - I have a clump of banana plants growing in the back garden and we do use the leaves for cooking and spair leaves go to my friends.

Will taking down the video (and the associated comments) buy enough time for the news cycle to move on to the next shiny/shocking/ scintillating object or will this video's removal result in an even stronger backlash and extend/expand negative coverage? Someone somewhere is probably already running an A/B test, designing an FGD to check :)
It's not very nice that Uncle Roger is reviewing and calling for donations for someone who steals other people's work and passes them off as her own... Haigh's plagiarism came out 6 days ago... he posted this 3 days ago... and no word from either Uncle Roger or Haigh except for the deleting of comments.

I’ve never really fancied Aunty Liz. Coz she is not proud of her Asian Chinese face. Look at the amount of makeup she uses just to make herself look like white woman. She reminds me of Blackpink Lisa. I also don’t support Lisa coz, just like Aunty Liz, she put on tons of makeup to change her brown tanned South East Asian face to a white woman face. Broke dude here, when using dried out spices you can put them on a thin cloth and lightly mist with water, wait just a minute and then pat dry. It doesn't fully rehydrate the leaf but it does give it some liquid content which helps flavor a bit. It won't be a huge change but it does help.
