In this weeks video we look at a new radio the QYT8900D dual band 2/70cm fm/wfm
I do a quick unboxing and fire up the radio .
the radio has 4 VFOs and runs 25W on high power

I can’t find an adapter for the external speaker to function? It goes into Transmit as soon as an external speaker is plugged into it.

Can you a headset mic with the rear port? Does it have VOX?

Don't think it has vox just reading the comments and they said it goes in to TX when you plug in a speaker into the socket in the back

I've got the qyt 8900d on my bike with a slide mount works great I love the four band screen nice little radio. Can I ask what antenna do you use on the bike and is it a good one?

The antenna I plan to use is a quad band 10,6,2,70 need a adaptor for it as the connection is a so239 not the usual 3/8 connection

NICKGAR7 couldn’t find anything on the box or in the manual about being ce marked
