13:25 for those who are wondering, enemies that die will leave a soul fragment. if there's a fragment nearby someone you hit with your W, you'll get a stack for hitting W and you'll also get the nearby fragment. AND if you get an assist for hitting the W or kill the one hit with W, you'll also claim their soul

Rather the shroom damage / leondri damage was still ticking.
You should do the "never let them recall bot comp" with ashe E and swain W you can force the enemy to stay in lane indefinitely

i do this sometimes but i follow the enemy jungler for his first clear
Here’s why you get lots of souls when hitting W sometimes. When you hit W on an enemy champion you get the soul for hitting it, then it collects any souls nearby that are lying around, then if the person you hit dies it also collects their soul
How the soul can lie around? Or are you mixing Thresh with Swain?

@@TheMegatuz watch a swain video and you will see that any time an enemy champion dies, they leave a glowing red soul fragment on the ground. When swain gets close, a bird delivers it to him and he heals and gets a stack.

I still wish his W was a bit faster... i would like to see it scale with his passive or maybe CDR to make it go off faster.
I do too, I play swain almost every game, however if W went off faster that would be really broken, it’s range already makes it incredibly powerful
@@Jake-zy9oj yea, but once people get boots it's far too easy to walk out. I mean even dead center they can walk out without boots on most champs.

hi zwag, they finally added wardstone back and it now gives +20% ap/hp/cdr so you could do some really fun builds as support

Great video. Just a small observation.. you could have timed your W with the enemy respawn to hit them all the time and get more stacks.
I'm actually surprised that this worked, since W casts for such a long time. I guess players just underestimate it.
Asking for a tank Cassiopeia. Days asked: 72, days skipped: 7, winrate: 91.14%
Please build these items:
Heartsteel - for HP, ranged champs get easy procs
Demonic Embrace - for AP scaling off HP... and the buuurns :)
Abbysal Mask - for MR steal (which also scales off HP!). Too bad it doesn't build out of the Catalyst, but I'd love to see it anyway
For the other 3 items, you might consider:
Seraph's Embrace - for mana, AP and Lifeline (in fact, it's too good on Cass not to build it)
Gargoyle Stoneplate - for defenses and a shielding active (again, scaling off HP)
Spirit Visage - for Mordekaiser-like shields from Seraph's and Gargoyle... and maybe a bit of extra healing from E?
Frozen Heart - for Armor AND mana - an anti-ADC Cass likes it!
Rylai's Crystal Scepter - for AP, HP and slows. In case you had problems with chasing things
Force of Nature - for even more MR and Move Speed: beat up ALL the Mages
Warmog's Armor - for a Garen passive, useful for hit-and-run tactics with Cass' ultimate (yeah, just like an actual Garen lol)
As for runes, you can scale HP, mana, defenses and AP even more with Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth, Manaflow and Gathering Storm, but standard Cass runes should be good as well.
Aside from being tanky, this Cass will still shred enemies in teamfights because of Abbysal Mask and Demonic. Please consider it!

15:05 I think it wasn't comet, but rather Teemo's poison that proc'd mandate.

Honestly after watching this it feels like this is the way swain is intended to be played constantly pressure and threat of a W across the map
I think when you thought mandate proc'd itself she was taking damage from teemo shroom so it insta double proc'd.
I think a last tick of the teemo poison is what proc'd the mandate right after you bought it

Please try my goofy Swain build with : Grasp, Demolish, Second Wind, and Revitalize, with Presence of Mind and Coup de Grace,
Atk Speed, adaptive damage and magic resist augment for easy grasp stack
basically, your ult procs grasp unlimitedly and grasp has unlimited HP scaling, with Demonic Embrace you also infinitely scale AP

Mandate gets 2 different triggers... one for you and one for allies. The allied version deals more damage.

Played a game where I was Malz mid vs a Jhin mid and I got a double kill during a lvl 1 invade and by wave 4 the Jhin was the same level as me despite me being up in CS with 2 kills.

Try to pick him on support role but with Relic shield, with this item you could have all of the cannon minions on both bot and mid lane. With Swain W you could easily reach to mid lane cannon minions, share gold (and probably exp) with your teammate.
Item passive doesn't create to much pressure on the other lines since Swain is a ranged champ and could only kill a minion with less than 30% of max health.
IIRC this won't work for 2 reasons. 1. You only get the execute on autos, so you'd have to spend your W specifically sniping the cannon instead of potentially hitting the enemy mid. 2. if it DOES work, the gold will go to the ADC, not the mid, so you're stealing a significant chunk of gold from your mid.
15:30 the syndra triggered a teemo mushroom.
Comet seems broken on certain champs like Swain, Shyvana, Morde, Singed. It could fall multiple times per trade, all the dps abilities refreshing Comets cd really fast. In combination with other abilities even faster. Dark Harvest rune could hit stronger(with stakes) but 45 cd unless you kill/assist someone. That's why comet is better. You could hit multiple enemies with a comet gaining more dps. For Swain with Liandry's Anguish yor W will launch torment and than Comet will hit depending on a distance with 1,5-2 seconds delay just to reactivate your item passive gaining total of ~ 50% dps for free.

If you wanna take it one step further, hover your mouse over where you're going to deploy the W (where they'll be after pull) so the instant you know the E will hit you can use W then pull after it hits. This will allow you to hit even a merc tred Garen 👍 love you zwaggerton
Also, don't watch to see if your W hits other lanes. The outcome has already been decided once you've deployed it. It's not like xerath where you get multiple shots so watching helps.

Mandate is so strong it's like having a second mythic. It's just a better horizon focus. 75 guaranteed damage vs 10% increase means that you'd have to be hitting 750 damage combos for horizon to be better and mandate has the potential for triple damage if any ally does any damage to the target. Absurd. You should probably just rush it on, say, Lissandra like that one guy wants?
