I never liked bmws or any german car but I just came back from Germany and fell in love with all German cars especially the sport wagons they have over there that you don’t see in the states . You see them flying by on the autobahn what an experience!
Agreed, the shift lights especially are a bit too much imo. You literally already have the revs both in the cockpit and the heads up display. The carbon fibre with alcantara looks pretty nice though.
@@mnoovurvi you're right. he switched to manual mode afterwards, and I mixed that up in my memory. Still I do not think the cut was due to an incoming upshift. If you watch it in 0,25 you can see that rpms drop by about 600 rather abruptly before it picks up again. Even as he actively lifts throttle the car does not go into 8th gear. If I remember correctly it won't shift into 8th by itself in sport(+) or M mode. (after all the 8th is very long and meant for efficiency)

Are you quoting wheel or engine horsepower? Maybe this M3 is 700 engine hp. Also don't forget power to weight ratios. This time is consistent for 700 engine horsepower 1850kg car

why it shift to second gear immediately when using launch control? it slows down the car, so annoying
