I been watching all your videos. Good stuff. .. question. Other than hand pulling how do you manage kikuyu . I did a complete Reno with Arden and it’s a constant battle with kikuyu coming up. Thanks.
Thanks 👍🏼 though I use both reel and rotary I agree with you on achieving nice looking lawn with just a rotary mower, with sharp blades and if you mow often you will achieve it.
@@ShortCutLawn San Diego! Just bought a house with a lawn a year ago and barely starting to take care of it this year. Your renovation videos are very helpful.
Really like the look of the short grass, just nervous about it burning up in the summer, did u gradually lower the mower height .? Can't wait for the next video, lawn looks like astroturf!!
What is your mow height? It looks short for a rotary meeting. I was told with a rotary that you shouldn't go lower than 1.5". At 1.75", I start to pull the grass or pull stolens up and then I have to go back over them to clean them up, some times not successfully. So now, I'm at 1.75" and not wanting to raise it to 2"
@@ShortCutLawn how are you able to cut so low without it pulling up stolens? At 1 3/8 cut, it can tear up part of the lawn by pulling up grass and then I need to go back over it. I'd like to show you some of what I'm talking about, but can't share on here. Are you a member of thelawnforum??
Back yard neglected? You haven’t seen mine, lol!
Awesome! At that height the Bluegrass looks like a Bermuda golf course! Nice job
Looking fantastic! What is your height of cut?
Thanks,....5/8” using reel and 1” on this rotary.
Hi from the UK. Where in the U.S are you located. Lawn looking good. Great videos keep up the good work.
Thanks 👍🏼 California.

Thanks! The only time I dealt with it other than pulling it was when I reno’d my yard, I used roundup and got rid 99% of them.
Lookin' good!!! I always tell folks that if you think you can't have a nice looking lawn with a rotary mower, you're wrong. You just proved you can!

What model of blower and trimmer are you using?
EGO 575 blower, black & decker LSTE525R 20v trimmer/edger
Got a new sub! Nice to find a lawn person in California. I've been trying to find people to follow but they've all been in FL or Midwest.
Thanks, good to have you 😎👍🏼 which part of California are you from?

Height of cut is 1” on this video. I’ve never heard of such restrictions.
