  • Here we cover how to achieve your goals in Old School Runescape, no matter how big or small. You can break down your goals into smaller pieces, and that makes them seem a little easier than lets say 1 million experience points in one day!

So glad you mentioned the BowFa, cause I initially told myself I was going to grind CGs, but instead I do 5 a day before or after work, depending on when I wake up. I still seriously grind skills, but CGs can tilt me off the face of the planet.

A game changer for me was adjusting the Runelite XP trackers to remove XP/hour and replace it with XP gained. It made slower skills feel much better as I focused less on efficieny scape and maxing XP rates. I started feeling like I was making actual progress towards my goals in a much more healthy and relaxed manner.

I haven't maxed yet but I'm a weekend Runescape warrior type of guy. During the week I'm busy but with mobile I can afk half of the skills. I got 99s is all afkable skills including herblore by not thinking of the time or levels per hour. I would think of the afk profit. So cleaning herbs might take forever but if I'm at my daughter's boxing lessons, I'll afk something. Once it's Saturday or Sunday I set aside a few hours of what i need that I can't do in mobile. Quests, bossing or high intensity level training. Right now my weekends consist of 2 or 3 quests a weekend and 3 hours of GotR. It's just time management. You can't think of maxing when you're base 50 on all skills. Think of the next goal, "I like herb runs I'm going to unlock trollheim and weiss this week, then next week I'll work on the achievement diaries to tele on top of the cliff in trollheim"

I recently started a new Ironman, and my goal is to get a quest cape relatively quickly. Doing 2 or 3 quests a day then going to do other stuff that I find a bit more enjoyable has been really working. Account's doing real good and I'm done with over half the quests in a month.

That's how I got my quest cape. It's easier now with Runelite :)

I started playing osrs 1 year ago on my ironman and wanted to reach max as fast as I could to catch up to my friends. They have been playing for 7 years and 5 years respectively, but neither of them are maxed yet. I wanted to get it around the same time as them. That's my primary driving factor to try and play well efficiently. I've earned 150m exp in just over 365 days, but I'm still only half way to max. I feel like i have so far to go despite grinding quite a bit.
I just try to keep my goals smaller daily so it's easier to handle. Just 502k exp/day is enough for me to max this year. Luckily I already have 90 RC and 91slayer so 2 of the slower skills are almost half way done.

Do all quests first or ALL the ones you can.
Faster you complete achievement diaries faster the game becomes easier

I hear what you’re saying, but why not get a high paying job and then buy a fully maxed account for $2k?

I maxxed by switching between skills one level at a time, at 95+ i switched to 25% at a time so i wasn't ever doing a single skill for too long.
