FARMING IS THE BEST SKILL IN THE GAME

I go into some details as to why Farming is the best skill in the game of Old School Runescape. It's a good money maker and it's guaranteed, for the most part. oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Farming The calculator oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Calculator:Farming/Herbs
Is The BoWFA Worth 120M?
Просмотров 5 тыс.4 месяца назад
We're looking at the BoWFA AKA Bow of Faerdhinen. I think it's worth the big price tag if you have other upgrades before this like Rigour! Is the bow worth 120M? Only if you have other items such as the Fang to help you do other bosses in the game. That's because you don't want to be stuck in one area forever and get burnt out. First you will need to sing the Enhanced Crystal Weapon Seed oldsch...

The Queen Has Been Dead For A Long Time
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.4 месяца назад
We have a slayer task for the Kalphite Queen in Old School Runescape. She was one of the first big bosses in history. Many players went and sought out after her big drop that was the Dragon Chainbody. Now, not so much. She does too much consistent damage and is boring to kill. Skip this task or kill the kalphite soldiers instead. Thanks for watching! oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Kalphite_Queen ol...
Defender Of uWuScape

We follow along through the quest, Defender of Varrock. Zombies are mysteriously gathering and becoming organized. Your job is to find who or what is behind this looming threat. There are some zombies that are level 85. The quest is pretty easy with clues that are fun to uncover. And the reward is good for the mid-game. oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Defender_of_Varrock
Chaos Gauntlets At Barrows And They're Pretty Good!

I'm using Chaos Gauntlets at the Barrows minigame. I find that it's really cheap to use and it hits very high, consistently. I use it in conjunction with other damage stacking effects for magic like the Tome of Fire and Staff of the Dead. I will have wiki links down below for anyone interested. You can hear the beetles critter and the winds hitting the entrance.
If you use thralls during Muspah - it'll shave off even more of your run. Also, trident of the swamps is a 4T weapon as the bofa - if you spend more time just using the trident to hit the boss instead of trying to freeze him - you'd deal more dps. Just use the running method and hit the boss every 4t.
Wilderness has one of the best hard diaries tho. Choose destination on the obelisks
"I don't like dying." "I just hate birdhouse runs." 💯 Lol, God bless, cheers
What does BoWFA stand for???
Bow of faerdhinen
@HeavyLiftSkilling Thank you newer to osrs from rs3 so not sure what things are when I hear them abbreviated.
opportunity cost, lol. You can make more GP/M at raids. If you naturally route past em on your grind it's fine but don't drop everything to do them.
Most pointless video I seen in a while.
hii good video. yes buy bofa
Please tell me how to wipe my arse next, Mr Basement roach!

Playing Runescape will just teach you so much about life. I feel like MMORPG's for the most part are just giant social experiments.
I know it's a bit of a joke but grinding rs in my youth translated to me having inhuman amounts of patience for monotony of daily life and work. People whine a lot i've noticed and those things only make me smile cause it's nothing compared to grinding out a 99 or speedrunning to max.
This is a good way of translating your skills in game into more real life skills which are essential in this day and age.
Farming was my first 99 and as of writing this my farming xp is 35m (and still haven't got that damn pet). Like one wise man said: It ain't much, but it's honest work!
As a hiring manager myself, If someone put osrs on their resume id definately invite them for an interview if they meet the base qualifications.
So glad you mentioned the BowFa, cause I initially told myself I was going to grind CGs, but instead I do 5 a day before or after work, depending on when I wake up. I still seriously grind skills, but CGs can tilt me off the face of the planet.
Good video! A lot of people struggle with this part of resume writing. And it really can be this simple.
A little creativity goes a long way. :)
This is great advice, not just in the context of OSRS, but really with anything you do in life. If you invest time in something, think about what it means about you, and how it improves your value! Sure, these are just games, but nearly everyone would say they've "improved" since they starting playing - what have you improved at? Think abstractly. Some other ideas: - If you're big on team raids, active in a clan organizing events, etc, then you could be an excellent collaborator and team player. You don't have to be social/conversational to be an effective workplace communicator! (If you like BA, you might like working in a kitchen...) - If you're excellent at getting through those hard grinds, then you're capable of staying focused during menial tasks. This might not be the kind of work you want to do all day, but if the pay is right (and you're allowed to listen to music or a podcast), then it might be something you end up feeling satisfied by (setting company records for things assembled per day, etc). - Playing off the previous one, do you incorporate tick manipulation into your grinds? Well then you also have a skill for fine motor control tasks. This is not something everyone can physically/mentally do! - Do you like to set and work towards big, challenging goals on your accounts (99s, diaries, restrictions)? Great, you're a goal-motivated worker. Helping your employer understand what motivates you means both you and they will be more satisfied with your work. Good luck everyone. Take what's rightfully yours.
I never usually comment however, I find this video interesting lol
I appreciate that 😎
Exactly right like I just got back into the game after like a long year and it’s hilarious bc he literally right lol
Hope this video is a joke btw bc nah you cant compare anything you said xD

Or you're just delusional and try to avoid the reality of what you actually are^^
One of my friends told me that the way I use my bank is how engineers work in real life. So I guess I'm not a failure after all! 🤣
I noticed our bank is very similar in how you organize it. I haven't went so far as to color code things though, but i keep mine neat and tidy too!

How To Achieve Your Goals In Old School Runescape, FOR REAL: Click the relevant thing... usually a million or so times.
Do your birdhouse runs, easy 100k+ most times time and hunter XP.
Most times?? Most times I get dog shit. 70k on a lucky day.
I recently started a new Ironman, and my goal is to get a quest cape relatively quickly. Doing 2 or 3 quests a day then going to do other stuff that I find a bit more enjoyable has been really working. Account's doing real good and I'm done with over half the quests in a month.
That's how I got my quest cape. It's easier now with Runelite :)
I hear what you’re saying, but why not get a high paying job and then buy a fully maxed account for $2k?
A game changer for me was adjusting the Runelite XP trackers to remove XP/hour and replace it with XP gained. It made slower skills feel much better as I focused less on efficieny scape and maxing XP rates. I started feeling like I was making actual progress towards my goals in a much more healthy and relaxed manner.
That’s a good idea!
I started playing osrs 1 year ago on my ironman and wanted to reach max as fast as I could to catch up to my friends. They have been playing for 7 years and 5 years respectively, but neither of them are maxed yet. I wanted to get it around the same time as them. That's my primary driving factor to try and play well efficiently. I've earned 150m exp in just over 365 days, but I'm still only half way to max. I feel like i have so far to go despite grinding quite a bit. I just try to keep my goals smaller daily so it's easier to handle. Just 502k exp/day is enough for me to max this year. Luckily I already have 90 RC and 91slayer so 2 of the slower skills are almost half way done.
Do all quests first or ALL the ones you can. Faster you complete achievement diaries faster the game becomes easier
STEP ONE: click rock
CLICK HARDER!
Step 2: ??? Step 3: Profit
I haven't maxed yet but I'm a weekend Runescape warrior type of guy. During the week I'm busy but with mobile I can afk half of the skills. I got 99s is all afkable skills including herblore by not thinking of the time or levels per hour. I would think of the afk profit. So cleaning herbs might take forever but if I'm at my daughter's boxing lessons, I'll afk something. Once it's Saturday or Sunday I set aside a few hours of what i need that I can't do in mobile. Quests, bossing or high intensity level training. Right now my weekends consist of 2 or 3 quests a weekend and 3 hours of GotR. It's just time management. You can't think of maxing when you're base 50 on all skills. Think of the next goal, "I like herb runs I'm going to unlock trollheim and weiss this week, then next week I'll work on the achievement diaries to tele on top of the cliff in trollheim"
I maxxed by switching between skills one level at a time, at 95+ i switched to 25% at a time so i wasn't ever doing a single skill for too long.
That’s what I plan to do :)
I got 7 skills till max,
What do you guys do to make it easier for yourself to achieve your goals?
Janitor
He ain't wrong, farming is the easiest and best skill for mains and irons
I likes the +1 on seeds idea. I think they should also add tractors in the game. They should make it so no one can walk past you on the paths when driving them and make them drive slower the higher your farming level is so you can feel like a true farmer
the sound of pain in his voice made me laugh
Farming is fun. Fr fr
I think farming is incredibly fun. In the 1hr 15mins I wait on herbs to grow, I can make 100k from hops in 5 mins, then bird run which takes 3 mins, then the cactus which takes 2 mins for 50k+, then coconuts which takes only 3 mins because all fruit trees are next to Spirit trees - just do Gnome Village second to last then tele to Catherby, then clean the herbs, mix with water for extra gp, then humidify your contract seeds and sell, then it's time for the next herb run, and you just made almost a mil and still have 30-45 mins to spare depending on efficiency.
I like your vids man they’re chill. Subscribed
Thank you! :)
I'd highly suggest arranging your switches in a pattern that goes laterally, rather than vertically. I can tell your gear switches struggle because of this.
''aliens''
Couldn't agree more! I have 99 farming, spirit tree in farming guild, and also one at my house. So, my Farm Cape is like a construction cape to me also.
Who let him cook
The depression in your voice when talking about agility is too real lol
Haha! Thanks! The joke nailed 😂
@@HeavyLiftSkillingit made me lol :)
Just started out farming. Its one of the few skills ive never touched before and it turned out to be so peaceful and fun.
That was me too :)
Plant everything you can. Bushes, trees, hops, herbs, mushrooms.
Farming snapdragon herbs makes me sooo much money. It's legit the reason I'm rich in this game. -Areeb (Rank 19048 in farming)
Hell yeah! It made me a lot of money too :)
Don’t forget hops also 80-100k profit per run (if all three are alive) * Edit Okay he used them in his video 😂
Haha! I didn't do them at the start of my journey. After I did one run, and got like 100k from it, I don't skip them. :)
Yes
I like your point about not getting it if it's all you can afford. The Bowfa is absolutely worth the price, but if it's all you have you will run out of things to do quickly. I think the bigger question is if the Tbow is worth it's price. I'm not saying the Tbow should be cheaper because it's the best bow in the game, but gp to performance wise the bowfa is a much better
what is that ui setup?
Were you ever able to login ?
Yep. It's actually the resizeable - modern layout within the main runescape display settings first and you have to hold 'Alt' to reposition things not 'Ctrl' Then the runelite plugin 'Status bars' for the extra side inv bits. You can customise to spec charge and run energy too. I'm not sure if they allow you to reposition your inv though tbh (like how he has his moved in from the right of the screen) He also put a video link to another guys comment and said he follows that so could be worth checking there if my suggestions fail
