Topres have such a nice deep and subdued thock. I still like mechanical boards because I enjoy the modding experience but I really wanna buy a Topre someday.

Membrane keyboards are very underrated I think, It depends on what membrane keyboard you have. Some are very good, but some are keyboards you see in office
Actually i type faster on a membrane keyboard rather than mechanical one (just my experience)

Frankly I'd argue the *only* membrane that's good is topre. The rest are a sheet of cheap plastic and a circuit board.
But it depends if it's something like topre then sure but if it's a cheap rubbery membrane then nah no way
he has to get a norbauer kit, silencing rings, bke domes, and mx sliders lol

@@bruh-ym5ob topre doesn’t use a membrane at all. There’s a difference between a membrane and a rubber dome element. So topre is capacitive, meaning it uses a pcb, just like any other mechanical keyboard.
Also, very famous “mechanical” keyboards actually uses a membrane to register a key press. The IBM Model M being one of the biggest examples. Once you spend some time in this hobby, you kind of realize the term “mechanical” literally means nothing.
