    DESCRIPTION
A few days ago, Epic Games announced that RealityScan, the powerful photogrammetry application, is now available for Android devices, making it accessible to an even wider audience of creatives. This free-to-download app brings the world of high-fidelity 3D modeling right to your fingertips!
With RealityScan, all you need is your Android smartphone or tablet to create breathtaking 3D models. Simply capture multiple pictures of an object, and let RealityScan work its magic. The app intelligently stitches the images together, transforming them into stunning, realistic 3D models. It's like having a portable scanner in your pocket!
One of the standout features of RealityScan is its seamless integration with Sketchfab, the leading platform for sharing and discovering 3D content. Once you've created your masterpiece, you can easily export it to Sketchfab. Showcase your creations to the world or harness them for other applications like Unreal Engine or Twinmotion.
What's more, exporting your models to Sketchfab is completely free. As a bonus, when you upload your first model, you'll receive a complimentary one-year upgrade to Sketchfab Pro, unlocking additional features and benefits. This gives you the perfect opportunity to explore the full potential of your architectural visualization projects.
The latest release of RealityScan introduces a range of improvements to enhance your scanning experience. The streamlined user interface and intuitive workflows make navigating the app a breeze. Notable enhancements include:
A new step-based workflow guides you through the scanning process, allowing you to backtrack and make adjustments whenever necessary.
Managing your project library is easier than ever. Quickly locate and remove unconnected images, or effortlessly add new ones to enhance your models.
Thanks to the embedded Sketchfab viewer, you can now preview your final model within the app. This feature allows you to fine-tune the details before sharing your creation with the world.
Take advantage of the ability to add and edit names and descriptions for your projects. These details are automatically synchronized with Sketchfab, ensuring a seamless experience.
To enjoy the wonders of RealityScan on your Android device, make sure you have an ARCore-compatible phone or tablet. Alternatively, if you're an iOS user, you'll need an iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 and above.
Hopefully this breakdown and tutorial is useful for you. Let me know in the comments if you are using Photogrammetry and what you think of this RealityScan app.

Oh, it's fine. I could just chase the algorithm trying to get views, but that isn't really my goal.

Reality scan seems to upload your scans to a cloud server which is a no no to me. If should save only to your pc not an alternative source.

Bummer. They don't have a version for those phones yet?
You can always just take the pictures then download them and process them in reality capture on desktop. That process works very well, even though there are more steps.

It supposed to work on both iPhone 14 and S23 Ultra. Anything over IOS 16 and Android 7 with ARCore should to work.

Sorry, but as a newbie I think your presentation was extremely boring . You're talking too much around the focus and you repeat all the time what you already have said. Maybe that's the reason, why so few people saw your last video you mentioned.

Could be. I've never been accused of being super engaging :)
