@@JonathanWinbushI tried it with an S23 and it worked very fast and flawlessly. And I think you ca download the models without making it public, there is a 3 dot menu at the bottom of each model in your model library.
@rano12321 yea I forgot to mention the app is actually in the official Samsung store that's the one I used but dope to hear your phone handled it. What did you end up scanning?

This one is pretty nice plus they just had some nice updates lately. I'm not familiar with the Kiri engine so I've never tried it.

Jonathon which android phone did you use? I'm about to get rid of my note. The scan was incredibly detailed. never mind just saw the phone in the intro lol...

@@JonathanWinbush im looking into the rokoko full suit and studying unreal's meta-human. Would this be a viable option for facial mapping? And how would that work being im using macpro 2019 with plenty of muscle verses the android face capture.
*Ill have to try the out. I just found out today that you can with your phone. Ill have to try this app out and compare it to some others. How many others have you tried in comparison to this one ?*
I've done a few most on its like Luma ai and polycam but I've also used dedicated hardware scanners I've done videos for all of them on my channel if you want to peep the results

@dexterousx92 I'd look into Luma ai it's free and on the web browser version you can upload video and it'll extract the 3d object it's pretty solid

Can these scans be used to 3D print / reproduce the actual item you are scanning?
I've seen other people do that but I don't personally own a 3d printer
Tried it out, but it didn't work on my OnePlus 6T. The camera preview looks black half the time and if I take a picture, the app gets stuck on that image.
Probably have to see what specs it can run
Can you then 3d print the scan?
