    Can you do a tutorial showing how to do one texture for all ambient occlusion

    at the end that is not ambient occlusion ambient occlusion is the probability how often light will hit a certain spot and makes it darker.

      Simon it is but I only used one sample to render it produces a some what smudged effect which I quite like. Looks as if done in paint.

      Yes your probably right but people do like to make things. I suppose I could have done it with the suzan monkey head but Where's the fun in that. Simon can you recommend a good editor program?
