@@m.u.4074extremely frustrating to watch. Some people would rather do nothing and watch the slow burn than say “ nova and run” and save the group. So dumb.
pull started at 10% mana for mage, and about 30% mana for a priest and 50% mana for the other priest - then they pulled two groups - its not like they were overleveled for the place either - why blame someone for not doing more to save them, rather than the person who put them in the situation to start with
She was worried about pulling Aggro and dying. With such low mana she would have been basically 1 shot. She made the right call.
Why did she not continue drinking after he pulled? Why didn't she aoe dps? Why did she frost nova first? Why did she not use a mana pot? All have the same answer.

You can see from healer's UI that the hunter is already in combat, he didn't notice though.
Hunter pet had aggro. You can see the owl go from 100% HP to 94%.
It was indeed the pet flying just high enough to aggro the trolls below, yeah!

If you are referring to the group in LBRS at 1:44 they actually did clear more than they had to but the pet was standing too close to the edge and pulled a pack from the platform below.

Question is, does that speak for or against them? Getting into dangerous, clip-worthy situations is almost inevitable, surviving them is a skill of its own though
@@CaptainSweatpants90he’s a healer, but every clip seems to be a horrible situation caused by overpull or something, and usually nobody dies, just a petri situation. So it doesn’t really say much
SM mage be like "I'm out of mana" while hovering her mouse over a mana pot, after casting a useless polymorph and some frostbolts on a pack with 5+ mobs
What gets me is that she stops drinking to cast poly and frostbolts instead of sitting down for a few more seconds and then use aoe.

nah they should have waited for mana especially that last room with 5 monks. People wipe there all the time right now in SOD and this is just HC classic.
Tank pulls huge pack without waiting for mana on healer or mage. Tanks fault for sure. She could have maybe done a little damage/slowing but not enough to kill with her pool

I think HC classic will always have a niche population, whether it's worth it for someone to keep doing highlights is another story.
During unofficial hc times ppl knew way less about the game and majority of the clips were open world, solo experience. Now this is all dungeon/raid clips where someone dies randomly.. this is normal but old clips were more exciting

can be noted that LBRS was probably(highly likely) pulled by the hunters pet as there are mobs in the crevice they were all was standing by and just standing near the edge like that will pull them. (u can see a throwing dagger hit from below on what looks like the hunters pet) PLS STAY AWAY FROM THAT EDGE
can ofc also been a roach, but probly not a roach that ran all the way down there to pull everyone on the way up, but ofc not entirely impossible.

Idk fight has always been weird af with random kills. He can charge and global people too. Crazy to do on HC imo
He moved his mouse at the end. You should drop both keyboard and mouse
its far fetched but the only thing I could possibly see was his rejuv falling off the warrior right as threatening gaze also falls off. His mana stays the same so he didn't cast anything in the frames before he does die. like the other guy pointed out, the whole mechanic is sketchy. He seemingly will charge people for HOTS, DOTS, and other small stuff all through the games history.
So the way threatening gaze actually works, is that when the debuff ends, if you’ve generated a certain amount of threat he will charge you. His hot and whatever else he did generated too much threat during the Debuff and he charged.
Fun Fact: Tabi, the HC Atiesh Wielder, has lived through this very interaction by dodging the swing.

Mandokir doesn't care about moving or jumping, he cares about threat.
How is this druid generating threat?
Because of Ticking HoTs.
Each tick will generate a **tiny** amount of threat.
The problem is: any amount of threat greater than zero might make you dead.
So you could instruct your party to click off your hots (but why would you put your life into someone else's hands?)
Logistically, you *CAN* build "Cancel Aura" macros to replace regular abilities:
/cancelaura Rejuvenation
/cancelaura Regrowth
/cancelaura Renew
/cast Heroic Strike
But you would have to require every single player to adopt this practice for this encounter, and make sure they map it to their 3 most-used abilities to have sufficient coverage.
Or don't cast HoTs.
Can druids even heal without HoTs?
Maybe just go cat for this fight? (no DoTs though; those also generate threat)

Mage did nothing wrong, mana pot on cd just hard to tell. Guardian Druid wants aoe damage on that pack, which yeah after he gets aggro maybe. She novas and Druid is out of range of mobs but is jumping like a madman, increasing the range at which he can be hit and gets clipped by the extra range and dies. How is it her fault lol
NEVER JUMP WHEN RUNNING FROM MOBS!!!! Jumping increases range by a lot and can daze and kill you quick

Clip at 4:25 is beyond infuriating.
Someone that clearly has no knowledge of the game, playing the easiest DPS in classic wrong, and isn't even the one to die for the blunder. The amount of people playing hardcore just for the content they can make for others' consumption, usually at the expense of legitimate players, is sadly still too high.
Does the LOS window sill trick not work in SM in hardcore? Or am I the noob?

What was that priest at Cthun even doing? Aside from casting a single smite on the boss and dying..
He actually was in his designated spot, he died because other people weren't fast enough to come back to their own spots, because they were taken by surprise as the Dark Glare ended without the DPS check being met, which resulted in the Eye resuming its Eye Beams on the raid (something that usually never happens).
Also Stemo was a great raider and player, and Priests smites are really good for DPSing as healer on phase 1, much more efficient than anything Paladin healers can do lol.

tbf, she had less than 1k mana as they pulled, and mages AoEs are expensive on mana, tanks fault for pulling big without looking at resource bars

"AoE them mage" pulls 3 packs of mobs while mage is at 20% mana. If it was me and the tank intentionally pulled while I was drinking I'd just fuckin' hearth. I for sure would not have stopped drinking to start killing shit. Unless *every* person is at full hp and mana before a pull, nothing gets fucking pulled. If the group can't follow those rules I'm gone instantly.

There's a mob pack in a hole behind the paladin. Hunter pet is just barely close enough to the ledge to be LoS, so it aggros the mob pack below, then the melee mobs in the pack have to run all the way around to actually path up to where the party was standing, pulling every pack in between in the process.

@@xmoxipavonispetinus8539mostly alliance but Horde has rebounded somewhat on DefiasPillager in NA. There is a horde raiding guild, and a lot more low leveling chars on horde now than there was maybe 2 months ago
@@dakineprotoss We had 2 horde guilds raiding on stitches too, both in naxx. but horde is way harder than alliance so normal that most people play alliance
Why does it say "try again" when they die?
when you click it you get to the character screen and can create a new character and try again.
Ive never seen that Button in hardcore..

If you are gonna play one death mode you turn your phone off, close the windows, make sure you eat BEFORE HAND and do anything else to make sure 0 distractions happen while playing. If you aren't treating it like you are fucking defusing a fucking bomb you are playing it wrong.
When I raid normally often times during breaks I'll make something to eat then stuff my face during the fight, not if I was playing a one death character.

I’ve leveled 1-60 on eu horde Nekrosh as dps/heal 2 months ago before ssf dropped and it was no problem do to every single dungeon.
Instant grps? No. But enough people to run dungeons if you ask around.
Actuality the servers in eu are more active
its always been possible to find groups. i havent stopped playing wowhc since it launched, you could tell when SoD launched and some of the HC Hype faded the server pop dropped, and we went from 5-7 layers to 1-2 layers.
but since that time the server population has only rebounded, people got bored of SOD and came back to HC, then SF did bring some back, but its always been popping on defias-pillager server. never had an issue finding groups for any dungeon 1-60, esp after a world buff drops the community is all together its easy to find a group for any 5 man

He didn't. The gaze start after the cast is complete, at which point he did not do anything
i slowed the clip down. he did 0 actions. you can even see he clicked escape twice and the menu opened and you can see him taking 0 actions during the period. it's some bullshit that happens sometimes where he charges regardless of whether you took action or not. i tested it out in wrath of the lich king classic and it sometimes triggers the same way too there :/ it's annoying. his death was unwarranted
@@Frshmachine That might be, but he did cast it at 5.9 sec, after he clicked escape and opened menu. Atleast the renew buff popped up at 5.9s

Mages whining about BoP expecting paladins to save them from their bad gameplay. Now imagine playing on horde where nobody can say you from yourself.
We had this problem in classic too, where a mage wouldn't get bop'd on Nef, and die. Why on Earth on hardcore would you not wait for the bop to aoe?

The funny part is, they only have 5 paladins and 6 mages and 1 mage already had forbearance when the clip started. Pretty stupid from the dudes to say "jeah just bop someone". But most mages have just one braincell same as warriors, though the mage who clipped it had atleast 2 braincells because he used a lip.
Mage in library is a total noob, she is spamming frostbolts when its clearly an aoe pull. complaining no mana when you 100% did have mana before. you wasted it on signle target

First it’s a big pull even in SOD you can die from this at lvl 35 easy . Secondly she have 3000 mana and start with 1000. So 33% , is it safe to pull big while your mage have only 33% of mana ? No , especially on a hc version of the game. You want the mage to aoe , get aggro , then be no mana ? Doesn’t sound right tbh

my opinion on dropgroup+petri is that they left it in the game. they took away reincarnation spells and they took away bubble+hearth, but they left in petris and leave group, so we are allowed to use them
