The guy would even cancel it and use the second one before all the mob circled back to him, but no he prefered to wait that there are 20 mobs around him. Man those classic andies never stop to amaze me, how he even reached 60 with such cognitive abilities is beyond me

Man I am really scared of level 60 content (if I ever make it) seeing these clips. It seems like everyone is distrusting one another and always have one finger ready on the Petri button to leave the group behind in totally salvagable scenarios too. Like the Paladin was playing his ass off to keep the group alive and the beyond useless tank had the time to write "use your buttons or I'll petri" instead of getting control over the situation. I know the topic has been discussed to death and they are not going away but I really do think Petri flasks are ruining the game mode. If this idiot wouldn't have had a Petri, the group/paladin would have lived.

They pulled with healer at 75% mana, and instead of BOPing he LoH which is a death sentence this early into the fight.

It’s actually a layering issue. If person who has been summoned has not swapped over to the same layer yet and accepts a summon from a zep, boat etc. this is the result.
No it's not a layering issue. The summon mechanic has not been programmed to take into account that the summoning group might be moving on an object.
@@BowelMove Lmao no it's not. The summoned player gets teleported to a fixed set of coordinates. Zeppelins and boats are moving objects, so by the time the player accepts the summon, they will already have moved on.
We used to grief people with summons all the time. Summon them off a cliff. Not sure when they fixed it.

I'm not, used lay on hands insta in a panic so had no mana for rest of fight, using holylight and consecration at 20% mana they literally couldn't of managed their mana worse. If they kept everyone topped the group probally wouldn't of roached.
@@lemming3001 For sure was actually the paladin's fault. Warrior was dumb saying use your buttons or else I petri, cause that sounds so dickish, as if they weren't pushing buttons. But Paladin panic LoH, which left him behind in mana the rest of the fight. The rogue he LoH went down to 1k hp, after LoH, only took 300 more damage before not taking any for a bit. Pally could have just spammed flash of light to get everyone up in that situation. He just paniced cause of the burst that came out. The damage is very minor after that and as long as they interrupt the rest of the chain lightnings, which they did, the fight is easy if Paladin just spams flash of light.
LoH 4 sec into the fight as the only healer. Consecrate + bubble and then says he's OOM. I'd petri too at 5% health if I were the warr.
@@c175353 the petri he used was fine as he also used health pot mid combat and pala got stunned as he petrid, ppl are discussing what happened after main boss was dead and ghost and bear were alive, why he didnt exit petri to help out the team

A lot of mobs or bosses have anti evade/cheesing mechanics and they teleport you right in front of them when they can't reach you, that's what happened.
@@MonsieurP2T Yep. It used to teleport the mobs to you but then people exploited that in legion Mythic+ to get all the mobs stacked on 1 spot. They changed it so that it teleports you to the mobs instead and since classic uses the retail client classic has that change too.
If your petri won't outlast the teleport timer, and you have a second petri on hand: bind flask to scroll wheel
You can also refresh the petri while mobs are not on you, or do the forbidden petri+alt-f4
@@VevemusicThis, 100%. If you screw up and have a second flask, cancel and use the second one before everyone and their mother is slapping your petrified face
Just to clarify this. Ofc you should NOT bind it on your scrool wheel all the time, otherwise you will lose 50 gold every 10 mins and maybe wipe your groups on accident, but you can bind it during combat, when you used your first petri. Key binds can be replaced during that time. After all you have one whole minute to do this. :) Even the worst Classic Andy should be able to do this.

I raid led a pug in classic era all the way from MC to Naxx and that could be stressful enough on its own.
The thought of raid leading a hardcore raid and potentially causing a load of deaths because I missed something or didn’t make a call quick enough just fills me with anxiety. I felt shitty enough when people lost their world buffs.
I also think you need to share the burden. Having people keep a look out and inform the raid lead if something is amiss over voice should be a must. Ofc only ppl who know when to speak should be allowed to.

I seriously don't understand how people can play this game without enemy health bars enabled. 5:25 for example. Be aware of your surroundings. This is insane.

it's nice to see my video in this compilation and finally when it's not me dyingy in it !
How to roach out with Petrification Flasks:
1) Leave the group.
2) Wait for the popup of being teleported out comes up.
3) Use Petrification Flask.
4) Wait out timer; be automatically teleported out and alive.
You will never fail to roach out again.
And if you do find yourself doing 2 and 3 in the wrong order, you can manually remove the petrification buff and drink another flask to have the petrification last until your forced teleportation. Ideally, you want to do this before all the enemies are there hitting you, because if they are, you are likely to die if you are too slow to drink the second flask. There are enough clips out there already of people dying by not manually removing the petrification buff and drinking another flask while it was still safe to do so.
Raiders just immediately ALT+F4 and then submit a character stuck request to have them ported to a city.
Far better advice in order to improve the average skill level of HC:
1. Use petri.
2. Slowly click leave party
3. Notice the timer is lagging behind the petri timer by a lot.
4. Stand there slackjawed watching the enemies run around and the rest of the party flee
5. Watch the timer run out as enemies wail on your petri'd body
6. When the timer runs out, instead of repeatedly hitting the button for another petri so it activates as soon as possible and possibly saving you, slowly move your mouse over the button for petri and click at least a half second too late.
7. Get what you deserve

Funny story about that ZG bat rider death situation. I was in a Scholo with Payo and these two warriors that were matching gear guys that leveled together(they farm 2 of everything). We were running the first two bosses on repeat for Valor boots and Shadowcraft boots. They told us their guildies died in ZG. They had to go tank. They got into an argument with Payo where he said he hoped they would die too. Then he goes “well don’t die because I need you to help me farm boots”
They went into ZG as two warrior tanks, and survived the night at least.

The utter incompetency of so many people in these vids when they try to wscape outdoors and just run into more mobs. It's HC know your surroundings and where always escape backtracking from where you came and have cleared the mobs!
The respawns in classic are pretty weird. The mob you just killed can instantly respawn again and they also respawn in groups isntead of individually like they did in vanilla. It's pretty fucked.

Yep paladin tanks are only "okay" in undead dungeons and even then they need a lot of gear to do what Wars/Bears do naturally and they have no taunt so that DM kill was because pally tanks are just bad in vanilla.

Prince Tortheldrin has a knockback that reduces threat by 50%, which mean the paladin tank loses aggro and can't get it back. It goes to the hunter, who uses feign death. Then it goes to the mage who ice blocks. That leaves it on the healer. The paladin could bop the healer at this point to get aggro back, but it would just happen again the next time he got knocked back. Paladins just should not tank any boss that has a mechanic like this.
Looks like he has thrash as well, which means as he's running around not hitting he's building up thrash stacks, which is why he just deletes people when they get teleported to him.
If you are not able to wait 3 sec for the pal tank setup his aggro and dont understand why he loose it, that's too bad, it's Era HC not Retail, fool.
Guy literally living in mom's basement killed by mom cluelessly unplugging the wifi. This is why you get your own place before playing hardcore.

some bosses have reset/evade prevention -- if you have aggro and were standing too far, or at a spot the mob can't path to, usually they will teleport you to them. this is what happened there
