Many years ago I was at Ozzfest and Devildriver was playing. I don’t think I caught them but about an hour later I was just walking around the crowd with my friend and there was a little group gathered around someone. When I got closer I realized it was Dez! He was just walking around talking with people. Everybody around him had all this Devildriver Merch like CDs and shirts and he was just signing everything. Then he turned to me and I was totally caught off guard and just had the beat-up, bright yellow show list and I was like,’ Uh, uh sorry I didn’t buy anything for you to sign.’ And he looked at me like 🤨 and then he just gave a huge smile, wrapped his arms around me in a hug and said, ‘Oh it’s okay man. Just have fun.’ And then he signed the playlist thingy. I still got it somewhere. Best rockstar moment ever for me.
Man I remember seeing these guys at the rave in Milwaukee, WI back like in 98….they opened with the Halloween theme too and the line up was them, Machine Head and Slipknot.
what an amazing show this was in palm beach! Crowd was small-ish but we dont have a radio station to promote this kind of show. Still was very magical and AWESOME!!!
I seen Coal Chamber in 2012, was a fan of theirs for 10 years beforehand.. Sadly I have drifted away, I still love their stuff but I don't listen to this genre as much nowdays. I'm super impressed that Dez still sounds exactly the same and puts on a wicked show!

This is sick I saw them before the broke up and met them all except for Rayna and she wouldn’t give me an autograph but Dez and migs were absolutely the most amazing peeps ever and I love is other band devil driver man one of my favorite bands of all time glad there jamming again
That was by far their best album because they experimented. I feel like they think it su ked because they were called sellouts at the time.... I love that album
