@@Wayayeo Successfully took it off with a heat gun. I'm going to try the soldering method, I feel like the tip I use is too big, not sure if there are smaller ones out there. Or if I even need them.

Will this replacement fix the touchscreen as well? The screen itself works, however, the touch screen won't respond, on any OS. On Hekate, the touch screen information could not be detected. Just making sure it's this component I need to replace.
Only the lite switch has a separate lcd and digitizer. Original and oled are all in one so yes replacing the fpc connector will fix both lcd and touch in original and oled.

Do you take the faulty connector out by air gun? if so, at what temperature?
Use heat resistant tape around components near the connector and start with 650F. Good luck.

Claro revisa bien los cables flex.
