Brilliant video showing the importance of being systematic and thorough when dealing with water damage. I must say, when your daughter was in shot with you, your face changed and you looked years younger. That was lovely to see.
You know Big Boss being able to disassemble/reassemble so many different systems is pretty impressive. These days stuff is glued down and has 5000 tiny fragile plastic clips holding stuff together. Not to mention all the 'traps' like "haha did you open it from the right side? Thanks you just ripped the flex cable for the display!" that you also have to avoid. Anyway props to Big Boss!
Nice work Buddy, like always a pleasure to watch. Your smile when you saw that the Unit is charging properly after a while of working on it, that smile comes from the deepest part of the Soul when you know you fixed something and you did it good! Masha'Allah , is that your daughter?
I came across your RUclips videos whilst looking online how to fix a laptop that was not charging. It was given to me to wipe and dump. Thanks to your fabulous informative videos, I was able to fix it. Just a charging port, but none the less, your videos helped. I don't have a hot air station, so had to resort to a hot air paint stripper with very careful use. It worked though. Can I ask what program you use to do your videos as they are. so we'll done. I'm in the UK. Thanks, Colin
Great videos! Repairing electronics is stressful in the sense that you never know if you will be able to fix something. I have trouble with microsoldering and I wish that you showed the microsoldering in real time (not speeded up). I own Frank Reiser Video/Audio Service and have been repairing peoples' TV and electronics for over 18 years on a part time basis. The only difference between you and me is that you are better than I am. :) Frank
Daughter looks almost exactly like my daughter :o She like to put all kinds of things under my microscope to check it out. Even her mom mom and she agree that she looks exactly same.
nice and clean. My goal for 2021 is to solder pads nice and quick and clean like you do. Thats my goal. Second Goal is to be able to clean old solder off of an IC array of balls without bridges forming from low melt solder or leaded solder when added to lower temp to clean with wick. Experience is the answer of course, the more you do the more you get the hang of it. Happy Monday brother. Amazing vid as always. Mashala.
Nice long video. Thx for it. Haha, the microscope is like a hypnotic magnet for kinds, they always went there, hold their fingers under it and just wanna explore the world. 👍😂
Hello, this comment might not be related to this video in any way, but I know this is the right channel to ask this question. I have been following and watching videos from this channel beacuse I am very interested in electronics repair. I am from Kenya and looking to set up an electronics repair shop here. I am looking for advise on a magnifying desk lamp and the magnification that can help me inspect the tiny components on a logic board comfortably. I'm really restrained financially and I have no 100 USD to spend on a microscope. Links to what I need on ebay will be very appreciated. Keep up the good work. You've inspired me alot.
lol your daughter made me laugh, my 3yr old tries to help sometimes job's take 3 times as long....lol because obviuosly i cannot solder while he is in the room
Hi my friend, just straight to the question i gonna ask what the problem cause iphone 6 plus not charging even just change the charging port?? Thank you
were you heating this from above or below the board.. nvm i watched it again and you actually specified, oopsie.. fpc connector, heated from bottom, thanks:)
Hi Bry use 99% IPA and a cotton bud and gently just push inside and wipe around the area lift the flap up and use a brush and clean the flux out that way too I did one of these on my live stream last night ahah.
My nintendo switch only has the blacklight turn on but no display. I already changed the lcd connector. Any ideas? The nintendo switch works because you can touch the screen and hear the menu noise. Also if you dock it will work with the tv. Please help!
@northridgefix what brand and type of solder do you use? i bought some low melt solder from your store but that's for removing. what solder should I buy to use for general soldering back on components? and should it be leaded or unleaded?

Almost all Nintendo switches I’ve worked on have never pulled 15v. Always 5v at .48A. Am I doing something wrong? I use the same meter as you do.
