Thanks Alex for your videos on board repair. I watch all of time just to get me back to a more professional level of board repair!
beautiful 20 min+ video after a long day at work, you inspire me so much alex ❤.
can you please once a week just turn on the camera live or record uninterrupted for 1 hour or two ? and just upload it RAW?
also, there is software Charge meter you can have it on the screen and connect all types of charge cables to it I think it's easier for us all, you won't have to move that charge box everywhere and have the charge meter under the microscope everytime.
Nice work. I'll keep watching your videos as long as you keep making them.
I'm addict from your videos. I learn alot from you. Thank you.

I’m interested how to replace the Bluetooth chip on this board.

That smile is priceless hahahaha
It's the smile of success :-)
Better than factory
Just ordered these connector from you, only place that has express shipping. Thanks!! Had to melt my connector to get mine off. Nintendo had some high temp solder needed around 390c that's hot.

Great work done Sir
I love your videos brother! I order your chips alot for nintendo switch repair that I offer at my retro video game store. I have a weird issue though with a capacitor near the charging IC I've changed it out twice now and everytime I put a new one on the short turns up again. Is it possible that new IC chips could be defective from factory or could the issue be on another part of the board?
شكرا علا كل تعبك وعلا نشر المعلومة
I love the videos please can you say what temp and airspeed in your videos it helps for us learning thanks again
Very interesting why do you use diode mode for checking shorts on caps? And what size soldering iron tip are you using?
Does anyone know where to get the fuse above the USB C port, I have one that is bad and need replacements, I have no donor boards? Thank you
at what temperature do you use the air soldering iron so as not to melt the sd socket? thanks a lot
Great job and video like always
Great work
Possible to replace the wire inside the connector to restore function? Since they seem to have just fallen out from getting disconnected from the solder?
Any reason you do not use Polymide Tape (Kapton Tape) for heat resistance? I feel like it can stop heat better than the metal tape, that stuff gets hot.
لله يعطيك الف عافية انا عم تابعك من تركيا عندي مركز تصليح وكل يوم بتعلم منك شي جديد موفق في عملك باذن لله

What solder should you use?
Best thanks
mfg Wolfgang
Hi mate love to see you working on the electronic devices can you make video on how to replace the laches connectors I would love to watch it thanks 😊 samer from Australia 🇦🇺
How much would it cost for this repair? My socket is missing 2 pins and I was thinking of teaching myself to solder and do it myself because I haven't got much money but id like to know the pricing. Im in texas
You're a beast. It s really hard to work on ICs . My hand is shaking...
Elbows on the table + something always supporting your wrist. Towel, t-shirt, rag, cheap mousepad with a built-in wrist support... This is how i fight the coffee shakes sometimes :D
Very hard work thkyou information important video super bro
ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ❤️😍 amazing and beautiful video ❤️🌹🙏
gotta love that anitglare light :D
Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
I salute sir good work
It is heard to good when u sad the job is done.thank you sir
hello! how much heat do you deserve the sd connector?
After sd card fpc connector replacement, memory can go into brick?
Thank you very much
Board works in handheld mode even completely without PI3USB Video Chip . It will just not dock. Always test in dock to be sure about that chip replacement
Interesting !
Nice fixes
What..aluminium tape! Uff another item on the list to buy
always following you
Do you guys still offer repairs for the sd connector?
Does aluminum foil work just as good?
Can you please give any extra information about the chips you are changing? That would be very helpful!

Sir may I know what are the other type methods to be used not to effect other components on the board for example you used aluminium tape. Thanks Regards and that was really Quick and nice FIX👏👍👈🏆
High-temp Kapton tape, pieces of metal (like 3.5" bay computer case cutouts), coins, silicone pads, old damaged Intel (BGA) CPUs... Just use your imagination and try it out on a practice board :D
I have a Nintendo Switch that doesnt charge, but it works when it has battery but appears the message error 2134-0501 and i can't play! Can someone tell me what can cause this?
What heat did you use
Vary nice indeed!
What brand microscope are you using an what is the magnification I would like to get one
Thank you
In my country electronic shops are open till 11 clock
Dam man will have to send you mine from NZ!!! Haha my SD card connector died broken pin
Can anyone answer why his meter beeps in diode mode? or was it in continuity mode? and why do we use red probe on ground when testing?
Already answered the question in another comment. Diode mode measures voltage drop between 2 points and usually much faster then resistance mode. I'll do a video about diode mode in the future.
How much does it cost to replace sd connector
Superi superi superi superi Bro thanks......
Nice .
Could someone please help me identify this capacitor from the Switch Lite:
ibb.co/gS9tzdn
Also, the capacitors that sit on top of the APU, are they _02016D105MAT2A_ (0.1UF 10V X5R 0201) or _C0603X5R1A104K030BC_ (1UF 6.3V X5R 0201)?
I need that info to finish a job.
what is the model of your tester sir?

How can I send you my switch to be fixed?
Man I looked for chips on the Switch, no go. Oh well. Got a switch that kid dropped in the water. Cleaned it up, worked for a week but now it won't power on. When I plug in the charger it shows a full charge icon, goes to the Nintendo logo and boot loops. Any idea
Hard to tell
@@NorthridgeFix bummer, thanks anyway
Awesome
hi.. what are your views on apples new silicon
I don't know much about it. We'll see.
Só brasileiro não perco um vídeo seu
On what temperature u arerrrrrreeeee workinggggggggggg
Present Boss😁🤚
I would have used Kapton tape. Aluminum is a good conductor of head and eletricity, Kapton on the other hand is not conductive to electricity and is resistant to heat up to 400 Celcius. It is cheap and wildly available also could be a good thing to sell on your shop.
Sometimes flux enters into the glue layer of the Kapton tape and makes it slide around. It's good to have multiple approaches ready just in case :)
@@danielsatko- aluminium is better at getting rid of heat than clapton BUT you should shape the aluminium like a CAGE over the protected components, don't stick the aluminium to the components or else it's gonna melt
I use Aluminum tape to bounce heat away so connectors do not burn. I wouldn't use Kapton tape on any board work. Kapton tape deforms under heat and will cause components to shift when solder reaches melting temp.
@@NorthridgeFix Oh, yeah, if it's close to the job and using hot air... I like how it shrivels and smokes like a defeated old witch 🤣
Is the aluminum tape better than kapton?

Hi im New, in trying to diagnose a Nintendo switch that i bought used, it dont turn on. They told me it was only the battery but i changed it and dont work either, so i used my multimeter and check for shorts and got 3 in the usb c conector and in the battery conector its that normal?
No short is normal on any board, unless short is caused by low resistance component which is not really a short.
