A c clamp works wonders for pushing the pistons in.

Thanks for nice video, just changed my pads, same way as you did, 15 minutes for all.

Hello. I was wondering if you could do a video in all the tools one should get in order to do basic maintenance in the scout bobber. I am a college student, and want to save money by changing my brakes, oil, and brake fluid etc.

My favorite tool in my inventory has gotta be a mini ratchet kinda like this one. Has come in handy so many times. Second best tool is a 3/8 drive socket wrench. You can get a socket that will hold all the same bits as the Mini Ratchet. Don't buy a big bit set, so many will go unused. I typically pick bits/sockets up as I need them, at a couple bucks a piece.

Nice video. You should refill the brake fluid after changing the braking pads.

Shouldn't need to unless there's a leak. Brake flush is part of the 10k service as well anyway which came shortly after this video.

      never refill brake fluid.
If fluid is low that is indicator that your pads are low, or you have fluid leak.
Fluid should be changed whole in system as per mileage or time table, usually every two years

There’s a pin under the 2 rubber boots that look to me like the manual says to lube but you don’t know how to get to them.

I just pulled in it and it came out. So you pull the part with the slides off to lube them.

So far they are still great! Braking power is awesome and rotors show no signs of uneven wear.

I saw that post, honestly not sure, but I doubt it's double walled.
