First interview of this length I've watched with Peter, he comes across as a genuinely nice chap - hope he can up his game and take his chances in the Premier league
he still could not grab another point yesterday . Thats pretty hard to swallow
I feel like I know him a bit better now. When he said he felt bad when opponents played bad , I could immediately relate. He seems like a genuinely good guy (I'm in the US and don't get to know these players anyway other than RUclips). I'm always curious who the real jerks are, but feel like I have an idea usually.

Bloody great interview……. Love Dan Dawson…. Mad as a box of frogs but bloody brilliant darts journalist…..wright is up there with the best without doubt and his ability to throw different darts to an insane standard virtually daily is amazing (fair enough pro s can throw almost anything but the rate he changes and still throws to a stupid standard is ridiculous) huge talent and brilliant for the game

Fantastic interview with an amazing fellow. I was lucky enough to meet and chat with Peter and Jo in the London Ontario tournament held in 2011. He's deserving of everything he's accomplished. One of the nicest couple of people I've ever had the privilege to meet. Gave me ½ hour of their time as a nobody local dart player. Always will be my favourite dart player.

@@Kasper1999100 that’s the motivational difference between Peter and Phil… in interviews, Phil said that his opponents were trying to take the food away from his kids, and the roof from over their heads… that’s a totally different mindset eh… in comparison, Phil was a mugger who took no prisoners while getting the job done…
Ye he's went right of the boil so to speak, i really think he needs to stop changing his darts dont get me wrong i know it's what he does but i honesty believe it's not helping him now and i don't understand why he has not stuck with the ones he basically destroyed everyone in matchplay and world championship. But as i say its what he does and i understand why he does it but i think its hindering him.
Love his throw. Humble Nice man and that means a lot for me.

Great video nice and personal great insight to the person behind what we see. I believe we all have a gift but many of us never discover what ours is well done Peter. Enjoy the ride and more importantly live it to the full as you have worked for it.
Scrap the JDC and make these talented lads graft for 20 years and then let them back in the PDC. It's those years that have clearly given Peter the grit and mindset to become a champion.

I cant stand the daft haircut and outfits, but he seems such a nice person compared to the image.

i like peter wright, But i do not like his views on autographs though. So what if people sell them. Everyone is entitled to make a few quid, But these are the people that pay you first. Without the fans you wouldn't have all these tournaments and large prize money to play for. I dont like sportsman that dont have time for their fans.
I too think an autograph should be for the person asking - if it was me I’d ask their name or who it’s for. Too many live off taking autographs
@@BarnsleyMatchdayDrinkers so what its as honest a living as any they all have to pay for the photos and the travelling expenses etc.. its giving a service for people that want the autographs but are unable to get them theirselfs. Maybe i feel different about it as i personnally know a couple autograph hunters. I honestly dont see a problem with it, or atleast 1 signature per person. at the end of the day he was a tyre fitter and hes now a dart player its hardly hollywood red carpet material. you can find videos of sylvester stallone signing boxing gloves etc. but you get some dart player too good to sign a autograph for his fans. na sorry mate dont agree with you on this, I bet before he was world champion fitting tyres he would of loved for someone to ask him for his autograph.
You are not "entitled" to get someone's autograph at all, to then sell, get a grip of yourself.
